I woke up with coldness around me and swollen eyes that were not allowing me to open my eyes further than to see beyond a line of light.

A sudden realisation dawned upon me, he knows, he saw me. My head whipped to the other side of the bed to see it empty but the sheets were crumbled.

I looked around the room, it was pretty early in the morning, and the room was empty because there was no luggage in the room.

Did Leo leave me alone here?

The self-doubt and insecurities started to shake in me. The question wandered on my mind when I heard the room door open and then being shut.

If Leo left who would be coming to my room at this time. Apart from me wanting Leo but there is a very low chance he will come back, who wants to get involved in other people's family business.

I stayed on the bed and pulled the duvet up to my chest to protect myself as I heard footsteps coming toward the room.

It was Leo, he saw me he didn't move for a second, maybe now he is regretting the decision of not leaving me.

"Hey, good morning beautiful," Leo said coming near my bed, he sat on the side of the bed and kissed me. I was too stunned to kiss him back.

Why he is behaving like this, is he in denial? He is behaving as if nothing happened yesterday, which is irritating me to the core.

"Where is your luggage, Leo." I timidly asked, maybe he just came to say me goodbye.

"I took our luggage in the car downstairs, we still have one full day in Seattle and I feel like you don't wanna be in this hotel. So I booked us a room in my hotel. Is it okay?" He said still smiling.

He manages to prove me wrong every damm time and gets my hopes up. How can he be still thinking about my comfort right now, what are you, Leo?

"I tho-thought y-you was g-gonna leave me here, you behave like nothing happened yesterday," I said with my head hung low.

"Yeah nothing happened yesterday, that would change the way I feel about you, you trusted me with your secret I kept it, and honestly if you ask me how I feel, I would say I am very angry at your father that I can rip his neck off but it doesn't change the fact that, you are still my favourite girl and always will be."

"So get up, we are leaving and we will have breakfast on our way to the hotel and we will just relax the whole day, roam around the city or stay in bed. Which one would you like baby." Leo asked me and every time this man amazes me to think I am so lucky to have him as my boyfriend.

"Latter," I murmured.

"I knew and we will bring some snacks for us, although you are a fine snack for me," Leo said and I slapped him on his forearm we both giggled.

We both checked out of the hotel and we went to a local restaurant owned by Leo, to have our breakfast.

Throughout the ride, we both didn't talk, but Leo did hold my hand the whole ride, he occasionally squeezed my hand unintentionally, like he was thinking of something to ask me but couldn't.

We are now eating a delicious breakfast obviously without talking, to avoid Leo I am looking outside the window while Leo is looking shamelessly at me.

Holy Jesus, I can take his gaze filled with questions on me. I know Leo is curious right now, dying to ask me questions but he is refraining from it.

"Spit it out Leo, the questions and don't deny it I can sense the curious cat in you. I can handle that." I said and kept my fork down for getting ready for answering.

"Do you remember the day when you got stabbed, did you jump in front of me to get yourself hurt?"

I was not able to form a correct answer for him now, a part of me wanted to tell him everything but in the end, he will end up getting more upset.

Leo must have sensed my inner turmoil. As he kept his hand on my hand and kept circling the back of my hand with his thumb.

"Truth."

I took a heavy sigh before speaking.

"I- I was sitting on the window seat of the cafe and you and your parents were talking with you outside the window, and I could hear what you were talking about."

"Your mother talked about how naughty you were as a child, that when you were a 15, you were on verge of getting arrested because you were in an underage rave party. And how she found weed under your mattress."

"But in the end, they said that they are lucky to have you as their son no matter how much you troubled them, they love you to the moon."

I shifted my eyes from Leo to the window, because his stare makes me feel certain things.

"I didn't see your parents, but I saw back of you with green trousers and a black shirt."

"When I exited the coffee house, I saw a man rushing towards you with a knife in his hand, all I knew at that time was that this man doesn't deserve to die, his family will be devastated if he dies."

Till this time my eyes were watery, I think I can't hold my tears anymore further now.

"I just ran towards you to save you, but I don't know what came to my mind, and I just stood there waiting for getting stabbed."

I finally finished and raised my eyes to see Leo, I can't read him. The silence was beginning to prickle me.

"I am so sorry, Savanah," Leo said after a long silence.

Why is he apologising he did nothing wrong.

"You shouldn't apologise, you did nothing wrong, Leo," I said.

"I am sorry that you had to go through terrible things because of your patents, I am sorry that from the past 3 months that I have known you, I couldn't help you sooner."

"But I promise you, I am never gonna hurt you or let you get hurt by anyone, I swear to God I am gonna ruin your father now."

"Leo, it's a peace I seek not revenge, I have you, Jul, Elyse, Connor and everyone who gives me the peace I don't need anything else besides you people, so drop it."

What I said was completely true, I don't need anybody than Leo to be with me, he is my peace. And others too.

Leo looked at me for a second and then looked outside the window and left a low laugh. Did I say something funny?

"You really didn't think that we were in a relationship for the last 2 weeks, God," Leo said and he put a big smile on my face because he dropped it.

"You didn't make it clear."

"I kissed you," he yelled which I am sure caught everyone's attention, but at this moment I couldn't be embarrassed as I was not able to hold my laughter back but eventually I did control it.

"Oh really, if I would kiss that cute guy over there so he will be my boyfriend." I teased, and Leo's eyes went dark as he stared at the boy who was just simply eating his sandwich.

"You find him cute, he is merely just a boy, I am a man and you don't find me cute," Leo said while pointing at that boy.

I couldn't able to hold my laughter back and I laughed at him.

"Now you look cute, and what you mean you are a man, he is a man too, look he has a little beard," I said which I realised was not a good thing to say.

Leo dragged his chair adjacent to me and took my hand in his hands and started kissing it. There were not many people in the restaurant but there were still some people.

He slowly leaned his head near the side of my face, he placed a small kiss on my cheek and then went on giving multiple kisses on my earlobe.

He then went near my neck and blew warm air from his mouth which released a silent moan in my mouth. I could feel Leo smirking against my neck.

"Leo what are you doing." I half moaned.

"I am showing you what a man can do baby." He said and prepped kisses on my neck. Then he pulled back.

"Do not make me jealous Savanah, because I am very much interested to take things slow with you, and every time this happens, it challenges my control and you are not helping me to control it."

"Do not call me baby, it feels like I am a newborn I despise this name," I said.

"But you are my baby." He leaned and pecked me on my lips.

Leo said and stepped a little back in his seat, I broke from the heat of the moment to look around there was only me and Leo in the whole restaurant.

When did others leave? I looked at Leo and he just gave me his dirty smile look.

Yup, I did name his looks.
