"No," Vanessa said with a slight annoyance in her voice.

"You can go now, Dr Morello."

"My lord Leonardo Morello bought 49% of the hospital after the first complaint against my client was filed and he bought the rest 51% of the hospital before the second complaint was filed." William's lawyer said.

Leo what have you done, he bought the whole fucking hospital.

"My lord now I would like to call Dr Rodriguez."

As my name was called I stood up from my chair with wobbly legs sensing every eye on me at this moment. I could see William smirking in his seat.

I want everything to stop for this moment so that I can run away far away. I don't want to be humiliated anymore.

I quietly went on the stand and faced the judge, who gave me a slight sympathetic nod and I liked at the lawyer who had a look saying ' you are dead meat'.

"Dr Rodriguez, what is your annual income?" He asked.

It's slightly weird and a personal question, should I answer it, I mean I should answer it. It's not a big thing. I can answer that.

"70,000 dollars," I said.

"Still you blackmailed my client for asking favours for your career." He said.

I was dumbfounded by his allegation, does this nitwit didn't listen to the recording.

"Objection my lord, we have a call recording telling that Dr William forged the message to blackmail my client to have sexual intercourse with him," Christina said in a loud adamant voice.

The judge asked to hear the recording, soon the whole courtroom was filled with the conversation between me and William.

It was very hard for me to just not cry and listen to the conversation, I seemed so weak so fragile and I hated that.

I was never like this, you have had worse than that.

After hearing the recording the judge seemed to be convinced of my side and declined Williams's allegation to be false.

The whole case was being held for 3 good hours. Every close person from the hospital was being asked if they notice anything wrong with Williams's behaviour.

Jul got so angry at the stand that she called William 'motherfucker' thrice. The judge literary warned her for using that language.

Nancy the nurse also told everyone how she was corned in the female bathroom one night during her duty and was groped by William.

Her complaint was deferred and she was transferred to a junior nurse from the scrub nurse.

Till this time everyone's eyes were already moist seeing people supporting me, and till this time I could see William with a sweaty face on.

The judge gave us a 20-minute break to discuss it with the medical board and then they will announce their decision.

To say I was nervous was an understatement, I was fricking scared. My hands were trembling. Vanessa and Jul both were sitting on either side of me.

With my head on Jul's shoulder and my hand was occasionally squeezed by Vanessa to reassure me. Leo was talking with Dr Nolic, Carl and his father.

In the peripheral, I saw William sitting with his head in his hands, and his light leg shaking. His lawyer was pacing around with his tie hung loose.

After 20 minutes we all went inside the courtroom, the judge asked both the lawyers if they want to ask any questions to any other person.

Christina denied but William's lawyer called Leo to ask questions.

My heart stopped for a second, I saw Leo's jaw clenched, I know he is angry but not at the extreme level one he could say anything if provoked but I know he is also a brilliant man who knows how to keep himself up.

"Mr Morello, why did you buy the hospital?" He asked.

"The previous owner couldn't do this duty properly, so I have to step in, to ensure the culprit is being dealt with," Leo said in a monotonous tone without even acknowledging his presence.

"So are you two a thing." He asked with cheapness and vulgarity filled in his voice.

Leo would be so mad for joining his name with some random person he is accusing of having some sort of relationship just to prove Williams's fake innocence.

"No, we are friends, actually she is my best friend or maybe more than that, I don't know what relationship we share apart from having unusual coffee times and discussing strange medical or business cases together, but I know I can't see her crying and I can't see his filthy hands on Savanah."

As soon these words left Leo's mouth, my control over my tears broke, I was a crying mess now, most of the people in the courtroom were seeing Leo with adore in their eyes.

When all the eyes were on Leo his eyes were on me. His eyes were soft, silently telling me to stop crying.

The judge had a small smile on her face and she dismissed Leo. He walk passed me and give me a slight smile.

Which made me wonder did he mean everything he said and does I mean that much to him.

For whom he bought a fucking hospital.

"The medical board found Dr William to be guilty of sexual molestation, blackmailing and using his authoritative powers in the wrong manner."

"Dr Peter William will be charged 50,000$ as a fine and 40,000$ compensation to Nancy. The medical board also cancels his licence and is being sentenced to prison for 5 years."

"The court is adjourned." The judge declared.

Christina grabbed me into a very forceful hug, " I told you boo, you have got this."

I saw William with a frustrated face and glaring at me his lawyer was calming him down with sweet words.

Everyone hugged me and congratulated me for being so strong and for didn't lose hope.

I would have been nothing if Leo wasn't there, he saved me he is my angel. He may get angry a little at every small thing but I know he will never hurt me. He will always protect me.

I saw Leo looking at me with a smile on his face. He raises both his hands to his lips and gave me a flying kiss and winked.

What is the living hell was that?

Leo noticed my reaction and he laughed. I like seeing him laugh.

"I am so proud of you my dear," Ambrose said to me with a hand on my head and Vanessa gave me kisses on my face. I giggled.

I nodded at his words and turn to look at Vanessa. "Why didn't you tell me about all of this, I must have put you through a lot of hustle. I am so sorry guys." I said with tears flowing through my eyes.

Vanessa gently slapped the back of my head and started to wipe my face." You are just like my daughter and there is no hustle for daughters." She said and Ambrose embraced me in a hug.

Did she just say I am like her daughter, oh my God this woman knows how to tear me up into pieces.

In a good way.

Leo was still standing away from me just simply looking at me with complete adoration in his eyes.

I was surrounded by people who care for me, they all were here to support me, be with me.

Now at this time Vanessa, Ambrose and Carl went back home. Only Elyse, Adam, Jul, Connor and Leo were left here with me.

"We are gonna party, let's celebrate," Connor said with enthusiasm.

"Omg we can get drunk, high in tequila and we will dance till are feet are swollen," Elyse said with a huge grin on her face.

These people are happier than me, I just stepped forward and grabbed everyone in a group hug, they also hugged me back.

"Well, vodka is also an option. So what would you like to have Sav." Jul asked and I laughed. It's a rare case when Jul talks with a low tone and respect in her voice.

"I..... Before I could say anything further Leo beat me to it.

"She doesn't drink anymore." He said and the rest of them either scrunched up their face in confusion or were smirking.

"I got drunk that night and said some mean things to Maya, so I stop drinking," I told them and I could see both Elyse and Jul were frowning.

I felt bad to be a mood spoiler now.

"But we can still go party and dance are asses of you get high on tequila and Vodka I will have orange or pineapple juice," I said just to make. Jul is happy, she gets happy when she gets to drink vodka.

All of them started to go toward their respective cars to leave for Leo's club. I held Leo's hand just to stop him, to talk to him, to thank him or maybe kiss him.

He looked at me and pulled me towards himself slamming me on his chest. He had a naughty smile on his face.

"Thank you, Leo what you have done today means a lot to me." I looked up into his eyes. I noticed his eyes change colours.

"Don't mention it." Leo came a little closer to me wrapping his arms around me and keeping his head on mine.

"You know." He paused like he was thinking about what to say next.

"Hmmm," I hummed.

"What I said in the courtroom was true, I... You. You are not just any friend for me, you are more than that, someone I want to cherish, and someone I wouldn't like them to cry." Leo said wiping a lone tear from my left eye.

Leo bent a little to reach my lips comfortably. His hands were now on my face, holding it gently. The distance between our lips was extremely painful.

I moved forward to cover it. We were about to kiss, I am going to have my first damm kiss. It is gonna be Leo.

"Leo you are getting us late," Connor yelled. We both froze in our spot. Leo pulled himself a little away and clenched his eyes.

"Fuck you, Connor," Leo growled in a low voice and I giggled.

He came forwards, pecked my nose twice, interviewed his fingers with mine and kissed on top of my knuckles.

"Let's go." He said and we both went towards his car, with me smiling and blushing.
