Ashley stepped towards the bridge, hoping to catch Aurelius there overlooking the operations. However, she instead saw Basillius and Amaranth. She froze like a deer in the headlights for a moment until he caught sight of her.

"Catherine's friend right? Ashley if I remember correctly. If you came here looking for Aurelius, he is in his office. If it's a question that I can answer, feel free to ask me directly. No need to bother Aurelius for something that I can answer after all." He said as he tried to look as welcoming and amicable as possible for the poor girl's heart. No need to panic the apparently skittish girl any more than she already is.

Ashley struggled with her words for a moment, but eventually cleared her throat and stepped up. "Um... Your majesty? Catherine has requested that I get permission to land her ship on the planet so that she can heal the little aliens... Would that be alright...?" Her eyes darted everywhere while she spoke.

Basillius chuckled and spoke in a warm tone, "Yeah sure. I'm glad she's taking her work there seriously. I knew she could do it... though I was still worried. If you have any further problems just let one of the Primarchs know that Catherine has my full permission to use whatever resources she needs to smooth over everything with the Council races."

Ashley's eyes widened slightly and she gave him a slight bow, "Thank you, your majesty. I will go make the preparations now."

With a nod from Basillius, she stepped out of the bridge and took a deep breath. "Holy shit... I can't believe I just talked with the emperor face to face... And he remembered me... He was way nicer than he looks too."

A smile graced her features as she ran over the scene in her head again and she couldn't help but whisper, "Oh I'm so going to tease Alan later."

She walked back through the bleak dark-grey halls and took the nearest portal to the Amaryllis. Once she was on the ship, she made sure Alan and Haruhi were on-board before contacting flight control. " -Emperors Glory-? This is the Amaryllis, confirming that we have clearance to leave the hangar and embark to the GC world."

"This is flight control. Confirming now. You are cleared for disembarkment from the -Emperors Glory-."

Ashley smiled, "Thank you for the confirmation flight control. Have a wonderful evening." With that said, the feed cut, and the engines started with a rumble.

On the world of Avalon, the people were a mess. Ships that had smashed into each other during the mad rush burned in the streets, and the forests, and sank beneath waves in the ocean. Homes had been destroyed by falling debris and lives had been lost en masse to trampling during the rush. The people who were mourning, inspecting wreckage, saving lives, or otherwise turned their eyes to the sky.

A massive ship seemingly built for nothing more than lethality slowly fell through the atmosphere. As the ship fell, the people stared at it cautiously. Suddenly, it stopped above the city beneath the High Council. Soon, what looked like black clouds began pouring out of the ship. Wherever the cloud passed a miracle happened.

One of the clouds settled on an office building that a ship had crashed into. The raging fires dwindled and the destroyed sections of the building and the interior reformed as if nothing had ever happened. The still burning wreckage of the ship was pulled from the building and set on the street as it was repaired at a visible and astonishing rate. Finally, all those who had been in the building whether they were healthy, injured, or dead were carried off to an area where a cloud had begun building a massive trauma center.

Inside the trauma center, the injured were immediately healed by a strange red light the minute they were carried through the doors. The dead had their bodies repaired to the maximum they could be without revival and were set aside for clearance from next of kin. All those who were healthy in the trauma center were faced with an A.I. that began treating them for any mental disorders brought upon by the events they witnessed.

An Armanas sat in one of the luxurious chairs that had seemingly popped out of nowhere, along with the rest of this building. She looked out at the mass influx of people that seemed to get let out of the building as quickly as more were being brought in and she sighed in amazement. "This is the most efficient SAR operation I have ever seen in my life... If only we had Terrans during the campaigns against the Razzy's..."

As she watched the scene play out before her, the A.I. popped up in front of her with a stern expression. It looked like what she imagined a Terran soldier should look like. "Ms. Sasha Killa'vitch? We have found your father in the location you specified. He did not make it, I offer you my condolences. We can resurrect him with your authorization, however."

Sasha's eyes widened and her heart clenched. She felt like she couldn't breathe, but the A.I. said it could resurrect him, so she looked back up at him. "Uncle Tarma seemed to trust you Terrans... So I will trust my father with you. You have my authorization, however, I wish to watch the operation."

The A.I. pondered her response for a moment before nodding his virtual head. "Very well." Her chair dispersed into a black cloud that carried her down a hallway and into a plain white room with nothing more than the bed her father's body was being set upon. Tears started welling up in her eyes as she stared at the unmoving form of her father, but as she moved closer the A.I. projected himself in front of her.

"Ms. Killa'vitch, please, it will only be a few seconds. I need a five-foot space around him, however, so watch from here."

She nodded her head solemnly and the A.I. disappeared. A thin apparatus appeared on the ceiling that projected a golden light across her father. Within seconds his eyes snapped open and he let out a gasp for air. "W-where am I?! What happened?!" He heard a rush of footsteps and turned to see Sasha as she tackled him into a tearful hug. "Sasha?! What's wrong?!"

She buried her face into his fur and cried her heart out while muttering "Thank you..." repeatedly. The A.I. presented himself to the older Armanas. "Mr. Tal Killa'vitch. I regret to inform you that you had... temporarily ceased to function... hence your daughter's current state. I would like to assist you with psychoanalysis, however, if you would prefer to spend time calming your daughter instead, that is fine. Simply call me when you are ready." He disappeared a second later.

As Tal gazed down at Sasha his worried and confused expression slowly softened and he patted her head while cooing, "It's fine honey. I'm ok now. Everything's gonna be alright. I don't really get it, but I feel fine. So, there's no need to worry over an old coot like me. I got years in me yet."

After a while, Sasha finally pulled her face free of Tal's fur. She sniffled and cleaned up her face before saying, "Terran? Are you there?"

The A.I. reappeared and nodded. She smiled at him and the tears flowed again, "Thank you... Really... I-...Thank you."

"It was truly no problem. I only regret that the situation developed as it did, to begin with. We truly weren't prepared for a first-contact situation like this. Anyway... If you ever need support, we will integrate a Terran support line into your common communication network for your use. Call us if you require our services. We can do anything for the most part. Also, you may call me Zen."
