Nugget was stating at Ted. She looked tired. Without any noise, she hobbled up onto her one foot, and made her way over to him.
With a short hop, she made her way onto Ted's back. Nugget lowered herself down and readjusted her feathers as she made herself comfortable.
Ted woke up as he felt something press on his back, but he was too sore to move. He was helpless to stop whatever was happening, and so he just accepted it.
There was nothing he could do anyway, so he just let it by. He was surprised that he was even able to wake up with how exhausted he was. But with whatever was on him settling down, he slowly started to fade away again.
Harold slowly blinked before he removed his glasses. He pulled out a handkerchief and wiped his glasses thoroughly. As he put his thick glasses back on his head he blinked slowly as he tried to soak in the scene in front of him.
Azrail was grinding his teeth together as he slowly dragged his hands down his face. He pressed so hard that his skin stretched slightly along with his fingers.
The man made up of sharp angles had his head in his hands and was shaking his head back and forth. He had slumped down against the wall, and looked more tired than anything else.
"Interesting turn of events, huh?" The smiling man whispered to Harold.
"Huh?" Harold nearly jumped back as the shadowy man came dangerously close to his ear.
"Even I'm surprised it went this way," he continued. "And it's so rare that I actually am surprised by something. So i really must cherish this."
Harold cleared his throat and quickly straightened himself up. He adjusted his glasses again as he said, "I'm afraid I don't see the humor in all this."

"Oh?" The smiling man replied with a smirk.
Harold let out a huff. "That young lady lied to me." He grumbled. "I need to make sure she learns her lesson and doesn't dare try something like this again."
"Oh ho!" Cheered the smiling man. "Seems I was due for a second interesting turn. What a treat. What a treat."
"Ugh," Minabous shivered. "You ever get a really bad feeling?"
Will tapped his chin as he scrunched his mouth up and looked off towards the sky.
"Hmm," he mused aloud. "I don't think I have. At least not how other people describe it. I've had a feeling of dread before a big assignment was due, but that's not the same thing, right?"
Minabous snorted. "Yeah, not quite."
Her ears perked up and she lifted her head up as high as it would go as she quickly looked around.
"Feels like trouble is headed my way." She said softly. "I think I might head out early to keep ahead of whatever is coming for me."
"Really? You?" Will chuckled. "But you're not afraid of anything."
Minabous was brought back into the moment by his comment. She smiled and let out a short chuckle. "Even if I'm not afraid. It doesn't hurt to be cautious sometimes."
"Well, you'd know better than I would." Will shrugged.
"Yeah, it's time to roll out, but with how things are going, I bet a bunch more will follow after me." She said.
"What? But it feels like the parry just started!" Will complained. "Come on now, you can't end this huge thing like that? We never get together anymore."
She smiled weakly at Will. "Sorry Will. I gotta do what I think is right. I'll see you around sometime."
She waved at Will and turned to walk away.
He let out a sad sigh and waved back out of oigation. "That's what everyone said last timd," he mumbled under his breath. "And it took the risk of an apocalypse to get just these guys to come out."
