《CARNAGE CARNIVORE - A dragon devouring faeries...-》Volkor

On the planet Volkor, named after its temporal emperor Volkor, it was chaos. The Ummitte empire extended over the galaxy and the chrono agents bent space and time to communicate over immense distances, thus allowing the Ummittes to establish their power.
The idol centralized the information of the empire and redirected the orders.
Then came the general alert.
All contact with the armada was lost. Only a call for help was sent by the destroyed Tigris mentioning the escape of the Tyran palace ship.
However, no mention was made of their last position. Everything had been covered up by Tyran and his henchmen. Obviously, he was hiding things from the temporal officers. The last discussion was about a planet being destroyed by a gamma ray storm and the refusal to help evacuate the population, putting the Ummites in danger as well.
After internal investigations the Ummites discovered the existence of trophies among the nobles and frozen children. Of course violating the rules of the empire with the use of privileges.
The high council of the masters of time reacted. Nothing could be hidden any longer. The armada was destroyed and a god on the run...
And their fears were realized when the idol's red light came on:
Tyrant was dead!
Their God was no more!
This created a general panic and nobody had any idea where they went.
So much corruption, so many secrets, so much power and no one to help them.
Worse, they felt a wave of weakness and all of Tyrant's magic was gone at once.
Masters fell to dust and everything Tyrant had kept alive disappeared.
Ships fell into ruin, time bent and twisted, and ruin engulfed the entire empire as it turned to dust.
Only 1/100 of the empire remained. The priests and temporal agents disappeared, as if they had taken 1000 years in one go. Only the acolytes and assistants survived.
And the enslaved peoples, or what was left of them, had a glimmer of hope.
But it was without counting on VOLKOR! The second in command and apprentice of Tyrant.
He was also an emanation of divine power and generated his own magic, but he was not a God. On the other hand he was a general and a good strategist.

Like any self-respecting dictator, he gathered his forces and took on the alternate mantle of Tyrant and proclaimed himself Ummite Emperor.
Immediately, the army rallied under his command and used technology and science to restore the empire and face what he feared most: an invasion or a counter-attack, or worse, a hidden force, another more powerful deity or an empire altogether.
In his archives he thought of the Destroyer and the powers that accompanied him.
But distant contact was impossible and the only thing to do was to barricade himself, to reduce the empire to a defensible zone with resources to exploit.
Thus 60% of the colonies were abandoned and left to their sad fate.
Waspy sneezed at this point.
In the Dwarf King's fortress, there was a deep dungeon and the king himself descended the long steps, supported by several Drago Kobolds the size of Carnotosaurs.
It was a sort of circular cellar and the room continued into the abyss and eventually reached the lava promontory and the underground train tracks leading to Hans' now deserted lair.
The dwarves were in charge of the reactors and the system powering the forges.
The work was unheard of.
Indeed, from the abyss, the wrecks and debris of the remains of the Ummite fleet pulverized by the runic cannon had been "dropped" and the dwarves were melting down the pieces to make usable ingots and sorting out the alloys and precious metals.
Indeed, the Repressior was put back in the works, cut in 4.
We had to double its length and width to accommodate 2 runic gun turrets and to put Ummite reactors for the energy generators. Those more modern and more powerful.
Ummite shield generator modules were also installed, but all this work required an impacable logistics that only the Vespalians were capable of, supporting the dwarves in strength and food.
The project was to last at least a year, leaving only the Doom for protection.
So, in the meantime, King Cranedur had arrived in a huge circular room where a horribly mutilated dragon lay.
Kobolds and dragokobolds were giving the red dragon intensive care, but its monster crystal was ravaged, its mana pool was leaking, its regeneration had almost stopped and it was just moaning and groaning. Moreover the creature was unhappy, depressed, and could at any moment sink into a coma or an almost eternal hibernation.

Only the encouragement of Kobolds gave him the strength to live.
The base of 4 heads could be seen torn off with horrible scars, a thin film of skin without scales separated the blood flow from spreading fatally.
Its left front leg was torn off up to and including the shoulder and a collapsed gaping hole showed that it was missing a lung and a thin skin separated its heart from the outside, where it could be seen pulsating.
The tail was severed on the highest part and its remaining head had only one horn, the rest as if cauterized or severed by a powerful laser or saber.
Her face was nothing but grief and pain.
She lay there... and had not moved since she was dragged here.
Of course, a gaping hole healed where her beautiful wings had been...
"ENKA, Please... turn me over in the mirror....!" That was all she said, as if on a loop...
She stopped crying, without strength when Cranedur caressed her cheek...
"Mighty creature... Give yourself a chance. Many warriors have had to suffer terrible mutilations but have managed to overcome these difficult trials. We are only small and humble creatures who follow the path of the hydra. But each of us, as tiny as we may be, has our place and our role to play. If you are still alive, it means that you still have something to accomplish... so... fight!"
Tiamat swallowed and swallowed her tears but did not dare to say anything... she looked into the void.
Cranedur: "Mighty red dragoness, our guide and savior will come as soon as he recovers from his wounds in battle with Tyrant. He has defeated the last Primordial God!!!"
Tiamat turned around... "He defeated him??"
Then she let herself fall to the side... "Then I am useless...he succeeded without my help...I am lost..."
Cranedur: "Give yourself one last chance! Give him the chance to meet you..."
The dragoness sighed and concentrated to heal a little bit. But the pain was there. especially the phantom pain.
"Dwarf King.... I am in horrible pain..."
Then she passed out with a pitiful whimper.
Cranedur looked at the healer: "Well?
DragoKobold Healer: "She is very weak and needs to sleep to heal a bit. I don't know who did this but her wounds are horrible and, other than the runic cannon, I don't see who or how her flesh could have melted. And... it's not a dragoness but a hydra like our guide! and..."
"What do you mean?" pointed Cranedur..
"I detect divine blood and traces of gravitons, but its dragon crystal has been destroyed... only a tiny fragment remains, but it glows like the strongest of all the dragon Kobolds... It is as if it was a goddess heart of which only a tiny fragment remains... It is held together by a single blood vessel. If it breaks off, it's a slow death and a painful agony that awaits him.
Cranedur: "What would it take to heal his heart?"
"Divine blood! Otherwise it is better to finish her off and let her reincarnate as a Kobold and follow the path of our guide as I did."
Cranedur: "Let's give her a chance..before we euthanize her."
The dragoKobold covered the fallen goddess with a blanket to protect her from potential bugs and infections...
"May Enka have mercy on you.."
At these words, she felt the gaze of the destroyer weigh on her little person and fell to her knees.
"Yes mistress!!! I will watch over her!"
The drago kobold dropped a few drops of blood in a dark corner to worship her goddess, the Destroyer.
She was proud to have done her duty on behalf of Enka.. But as she raised her head and looked in the darkest direction of the room, she could see 8 pairs of tiny yellow eyes, because far away, watching her and she could guess a smile.
"The goddess is happy!"
So the faith of the Kobolds was unshakeable. The ex-dwarves who in turn also became Drago kobolds were also loyal servants of the Destroyer.
