I've been receiving messages regarding this story's return for over a year. It's been flattering and I couldn't wait any longer!

At the time of this post, I have book 1 complete and parts of book 2 written. That's enough backlog for me to deal with my dislike of serialisation.

Over the next 1 week, I plan to drop a post every 6 hours until we have 200 pages on RR. Following that, there will be updates every 5-7 days (TBD).

This is a project close to my heart since the protagonist is named after my dear cousin and his dad after my father. There is a lot of me in the story and I can't wait for the world to read it.

Changes:

—The magic system had a complete overhaul. Its no longer a poorly thought out rip off of Doulu Dalu. I've done a few unique things with magical cards, runes, and kept some elements of the old system. You might still see some Doulu Dalu elements with the 'soul card'.

—MC's fighting style needed changing to match the new magic system. He still prefers axes and spears, and there is a greater focus on trapping whenever possible.

—Many of you expressed issue with how he parted ways with the Boleyn. I took your critique into consideration and pulled back on the incident, making significant changes to the entire bit.

There are a lot more minor tweaks and some story additions. Overall, the story is a LOT more fleshed out. The settings and characters are the same, but have experienced several improvements. I've changed a lot as a writer since I started the story and the prose should match that.
