I'm so sorry besties that I've been gone for so long, I just haven't had any motivation to write anything.

Anyways, how do you guys like Sumeru?? I'm obsessed. Question of the week: Which of the 4 nations that are out now would you want to live in? Personally, I love everything about Sumeru so it's not even a competition for me.

(Y/n's) Pov

After stopping by the bakery for some croissants, I make my way over to the academia's library. While opening the door, it makes a loud squeal. "Stupid old school..." I mutter to myself.

"Shhhh, some of us are trying to actually study."

I smile as I make my way over to the annoying voice, "Look, I brought your favorites!"

He grumbles but puts down his book to look up at me. "I'm not hungry." I sit down next to him and lean my head against his side. I take out a croissant and shove it into his mouth.

His ears temporarily fall down before perking back up, he doesn't say anything but continues eating in silence. I look down at his book.

"What're you reading about this time?" I ask him.

He wants to be a botanist. I admire that, he doesn't want an over-the-top flashy job, he just wants to do what he loves.

I don't even know what he's talking about half of the time but I love listening to him talk. I could listen to him all day and never get bored.

"(y/n)! Are you even listening?"

"Huh!?"

"I was just talking about these flowers that were recently discovered."

"Oh-right. Yeah! I heard about those, they're really pretty!"

"Right?! I'd love to be able to own one and study it."

I continue resting my head on his shoulder as he continues talking about what he's been reading about.

After a few moments, my eyes feel heavy as I start drifting off to sleep.

A few hours later I wake up groggily and open my eyes. I notice that Tighnari has positioned me so that I'm laying down on top of him with my head on his chest while he continues reading his book laying down.

"Oh? You're awake, I was afraid you were never going to wake up. By the way, did you know that you snore obnoxiously loud?"

I blush and he laughs, "I was afraid you were going to disturb the whole library. I didn't realize I was that boring." He smiles down at me and I blush again.

"No- that's not it! I love listening to you! I-I was just tired is all...!"

He teases me and I look up at his features suddenly noticing how attractive he is.

"Hey, quit that." He says.

"What?"

"You're doing that thing where you stare at me for long periods of time."

"I do not stare!" I totally do. I just didn't realize it was so obvious.

"You're doing it right now. Tell me (y/n), do you think I'm attractive?"

I pause, not wanting to embarrass myself by saying something dumb.

He pats my head and I swat his hand away, "It's okay, you can tell me. I won't tell anyone else. Not like I have anyone to tell anyways."

I say nothing.

"How about this, I think you're very attractive (y/n)."

"Tighnari!" I bolt up quickly, hitting my head against his book, "Ow. Don't joke about stuff like that! That really hurt..."

He gives me a quizzical look, "But I'm not joking." He gives me a serious expression before quickly leaning in and kissing me.

"It's true, I do think you're very attractive." Now we're both blushing, "I shouldn't have done that, I'm sorry."

My heart races as I look at his flustered expression before leaning in and kissing him, biting his bottom lip in the process, "I think you're very attractive too Tighnari."

"I'm glad you feel the same way because that would've been very awkward if you didn't. I'd never be able to show my face again."

"You're so dramatic!"
