《Potestera- Race for Power》Ch 108 Divine Emissary Junifays’ Foolishness

An object fell from the sky faster than what Junifays eyes could detect, and soon something that felt as if a massive and terrible earthquake suddenly occurred, struck his balance, followed thereafter by a massive landslide coming towards his direction.
“You Dare!”
Junifay summoned a shield of golden energy that just barely managed to keep him safe from such an attack, in the end the forces of nature were not to be taken lightly.
But before he had a chance to strike down the fool who had enraged him, he felt someone grab the back of his neck, and before he even had a chance to react he was slammed to the ground.
”Behold! Giant’s Angry Slam!”
As Kemoro slammed Junifay to the ground, Junifay's exterior body glowed bright, and just as Kemoro was about to follow up his move, a bright flash appeared before him and Junifay who he once held with his hands was no longer between his grasps.
In a matter of seconds Junifay appeared meters away from him, a little worse for wear, but still mostly unharmed.
This was the power of all of Junifays Divine Treasures and Blessings.
“You’re a sneaky one aren’t you, it seems your not going to let me have any fun, fine have it your way…”
“You ignorant bastard, you dare touch an appointed servant of the Gods, you wanted to see our Divine Powers well open wide and see!”
Suddenly a golden figure the shape of a person emerged from the back of Junifay, it was his Blessed Divine Partner, the Divine Guardian, Archer Bluths, and from it a huge golden arrow began to condense pointing straight at Kemoro.
But Kemoro was unphased, as if he had seen it all before.
“Oh no you don’t, we're not doing this again, this time it's my turn.”

Suddenly Kemoro started to twist in place at astounding speeds, to the point that a mini tempest formed around him.
If your vision was good enough you’d be able to see small sized objects being thrown at unimaginable speeds, so fast in fact that they were breaking the speed of sound.
The sound barrier breaking was the only indication Junifay received that something wasn't right.
Soon his “Divine Protection” blessing surrounding him took damage out of nowhere, and again, and again, and again, and soon things became clear that Kemoro wasn’t just spinning for fun, he was launching stuff at him.
This was Kemoro’s favorite ranged technique, the “Heavenly Arm Technique”, which he had also taught to Guso, but now Kemoro was showing the emissary the true level of his Martial Mastery.
Junifay was caught off guard, the damage the balls were causing was not small, soon his “Divine Protection” would give, but he knew he could still withstand a couple seconds more of punishment.
He decided to commit to the attack that was already in progress and end things decisively once and for all.
But before Junifay had the chance to command a haste order to his Divine Partner, one of the balls that was being thrown at him, penetrated his Divine Protection and pierced his stomach.
Junifay was blown back from the impact, and his Divine Partner vanished.
Thereafter Kemoro ceased his attack and rushed forward to finish off his opponent.
But before he could reach him.
Two arrows flew straight at him from the opposite direction.
What Kemoro saw were two pink female looking Monsters in weird garbs, and who were capable of archery skills.
Kemoro just managed to evade the arrows and avoid serious damage.
He had made sure his senses were in tune, and at their most powerful, at the moment every single one of his resources and battle knowledge were ready to be used at a moment's notice .

One thing Kemoro lacked in, was knowledge of the world in general, as the creatures in front of him were an enigma to him.
In fact the creature's sudden appearance could be attributed to Junifay, who had used another Divine Item to cast a Divine Summon.
The creatures were of the ‘Mersiren Race’ and they belonged to the social class of Mightos Empire known as Divine Slaves.
They in fact had no will of their own, and were subject to whims of their Masters ‘The Chosen Divine’.
To be used as Divine Summons was very common for such creatures.
“You cursed imbecile, the punishment for defiling a divine Chosens body is death after 100 years of punishment! I'll make it a thousand “
Suddenly the Emissary stood up from his vulnerable position as if nothing had happened.
He had healed his wound with Divine Golden Tears, a priceless item only the most Elite of Divine Chosen could possess.
In fact, thanks to the tear, not only had he healed, he had also gotten stronger.
“You really are a resilient one aren’t you.”
“Prepare For Divine Judgment!”
Kemoro had realized the only way to break the enemy’s defenses was to use his special Disrupting Balls, which scrambled all energy waves, no matter what type they were.
They were a gift from someone he had met on his journey, and they were currently coming in handy.
The problem was his supply was limited and he had to use them wisely.
For the time being he opted for a different kind of projectile.
Acidic Tarballs, he knew Junifay would have fun with them.
Suddenly a more invigorated Junifay summoned a golden and silver bow with animal designs on it.
It was his precious Divine Beast Bow, a gift from the Emperor himself.
The impudent insect in front of him should be honored to meet his end by such an amazing weapon.
He plucked the divine bow string quickly many times, and soon 5 hungry Divine Energy Lions roared their way towards Kemoro’s direction.
Kemoro was a bit caught off guard, but managed to evade the esoteric beasts on the first shot.
But before he had time to regain his composure, more arrows were shot his way, eventually he had no choice but to deflect and destroy one of the arrows, a decision he ended up regretting.
Soon destructive Divine Energy was trying to invade his body and eating away at his innards.
The weapons being used by the weird creatures were also Divine Weapons, and Kemoro had just been introduced to the destructiveness of Divine Energy.
An energy that only the Divine Beings, and their Chosen ones could ever hope to control.
