Hey Everyone,
How about that ending huh? I've been working towards this particular ending since Book 1, as we can see things just went wayward from the beginning, as I planned it lol. I hope you guys enjoyed the twists and turns that Cypher went through and as I had fun writing them. (not all of it was fun, I was worried it wouldn't work, but it somehow did. I would love to hear your guys thoughts on how the story has unfolded thus far.)
Just to let you guys know, Book 3 signals the end of the first Arc of the Encrypted Data of Kaiden Cypher-- The Bridge City Arc.
Book 4 will start a new Arc, I haven't figured out the name of the Arc yet lol but, the title for Book 4 is Unshackled Sentience. (There's also I've been working towards since Book 1, I just hope I can pull it off lol.)
Now, some bad news. Book 4 isn't completed, but 80% is completed. I'm in the final stages of writing the final third, but life hasn't been stellar for the past couple months So I've been struggling with it. I'm not giving an excuse, I know I said I wanted to release Book 4 immediately after Book 3, but the way things are, burn out will get the better of me. However, during the period of the September, i will finalise it, so that by October 4th 2022, I can start releasing Book 4.
Again, I apologise for not being able to keep up with weekly updates, but as I work as well, it's quite tasking to provide the best quality story I want to give. I will have book available for you guys by October 4th 2022. for sure, that's written in stone! lol.

This work will be shorter overall, partly because its born out of a sudden passion, partly because I thought I'd try my hand at a more comfortable story than the grim darkness of the 41st Millenium (psychotic murderer and fraudulent holyman included). The atomic war caused plague and disease that crippled major countries. The generals and great leaders of the countries at war died from the radiation that penetrated every part of the globe. It was only then that humanity realized what they had done- what they had created. The first ever mutant was publicly executed the very day the war ended, and a new war began: the war against mutants. The surviving nation of Japan quickly rebuilt their country by dividing it into safe zones, or Sectors. There are currently 26 livable sectors in Japan; Sector 1 is the richest sector and the only sector that has completely rid itself of all radiation left over from the war. In fear against the threat of mutants, the once small section of the police force grew until it became the main police force in Japan. After all, humans shouldn't be blamed for crimes when the real threat to society is mutants. This police force that goes by their motto: Special Treatment Against Mutants (STAM) is comprised of agents that go about their work to capture and detain all mutants. Sector 26 is the poorest sector that humans can barely survive in; but there is one more part of Japan. This "dead zone" has such a high concentration of radiation that if a human were to step inside the barrier, they would die in mere moments. But within this dead zone, this 27th Sector, there lies a secret organization of mutants that fight against STAM and protect all mutants from their grasp. The Mutant Recovery and Protection Agency (MRPA) operates to hide mutants in society and allow them to live human lives. The only thing that stands in MRPA's way is STAM and its agents who hunt them down ruthlessly, so MRPA has their own set of skilled agents. And the battle rages on...

On the pretense of a raise, the relatively new employee Pernie is called in to talk with her superiors. NOTE: This is a short story written for a class I took recently. As a result of deadlines, it does not possess the quality (or length) that I would like and is rather thrunkated. Perhaps sometime far in the furture I'll fix it up. For now, I have much more important things to work on, such as my other fiction.
