《Stardust》Chapter 3.16 - White - Timeless Space

“What do you mean, Mei?” asked Haz who was still confused and probably shocked by whatever Mei was talking about.
Mei gladly replied, “It’s exactly as I said. We’re going inside The Dimensional Bag realm.”
“How does that work?” Airi was unsure.
Mei then explained briefly, “It’s just part of my magic, Forbidden Knowledge. I just happened to have the knowledge about breaking The Dimensional Bag restrictions.”
Zone was amazed and said, “I didn’t know you could break such a system that was made by Demensi. Those guys have a reputation of unbreakable security on all of their products.”
“It just shows that even an international company like Demensi have a leak in their system. That goes the same for us humans. We all have weaknesses.” added Mei.
Then, Lore claimed, “Nowadays…everything can be hacked. Even though, this isn’t a computer. But you get the gist of it.”
“Are we done, here?” Mei asked to everyone, “If there’s no more question then I’ll be opening the bag now.”
Everyone took a step back while Mei snapped her finger to reveal The Dimensional Bag small gate. Right now, only our hands could fit it in but with another snap from her finger and the gate begins to enlarge itself. It expanded to a more decent size for all of us to get through it. Before we can even do that though, there was this one thing that still needs to be done. Other than the size, The Dimensional Bag does not allow anything other than our arms to pass through the gate. But Mei simply bypass this by casting a spell that she learned. Now that all security lock has been bypass by Mei, we can now get inside The Dimensional Bag realm.
“Hold on, are we seriously going to go inside at night?” Haz stopped us, “I mean we could go there tomorrow morning or something.”
“Don’t worry, Haz.” Mei reassures him. “The Dimensional Bag realm is a timeless space.”
“Timeless Space, what is that?”
Mei explained, “Basically, it is pretty much a world where time doesn’t exist at all. Even so time doesn’t exist there, it doesn’t exactly mean that time doesn’t exist.”
“I don’t get it.” Airi was confused.
Mei continued, “Time can still exist because we as a human have a perception of time. Having a perception of time enables us to move around The Dimensional Bag realm. Demensi never applied anything concerning the human organism to be timeless or simply…ageless like most of the objects kept in this world. If not, we couldn’t even grab any of our belongings with our hands. Our hands will simply stop moving”

Haz concluded, “I see. Demensi’s Dimensional Bag boasted that anything that was kept inside of it will not age at all. Food won’t rot. Metals won’t rust up. It won’t even collect dust. It’ll be the same as when you kept it.”
Mei then added, “But there is one thing that I’ve discovered years ago. Since we humans have a perception of time, I found out that I can actually decide when can I get out of this realm. Whenever I tried to exit the realm, I usually think of the place that I got from. But one day when I was tired of staying and decided to get out of the realm I found myself inside a locker all locked up.”
“A locker?” questioned Lore. “How did you get there in the first place? And how did you get out?”
“It was probably when I entered the realm, the locker wasn’t there at all back then. Until sometime, the locker was moved to where I opened the gate. That’s how I got in.” Mei then looks at me who was still amazed at the gate that she made and said to herself, “And as for how I got out…it doesn’t matter really.”
She decided not to share more of her story but instead step through the gateway. We followed her as well from behind. Once everyone was inside the realm, Mei closes the gate with a snap of her finger.
The Dimensional Bag realm was an empty white space with white solid floor. It feels like we’re in a drawing board or a movie set. Mei told us that there is no ceiling or walls at all. According to her as well, distance doesn’t seems to exist at all. So what are we suppose to do now if we can’t even walk to where we wanted?
Lore asked “What do we need to do now?”
“We think about the location.” answered Mei. “Over here, everything that I think of that belonged to me will appear near me. That's how the Dimensional Bag works, right”
“Did you just say 'we' as in we have to think as well?” Lore pointed out.
Mei corrects herself, “I’m sorry. I’ll think of the library.”
In a few seconds, rows of book racks begin to appear from left and right, up and down. It was all over the place. Dozens upon dozens of book racks slides in creating a whole network of book racks. I figured that we would actually walk inside a library but not like this. This doesn’t feel like a library especially when there was no proper flooring at all.

“That’s a lot of book.” said Zone. “Are all of these yours, Mei?”
Mei answered, “Practically, it is mine. But I never owned a single book before I started having Forbidden Knowledge. It’s like all of these books were forced into my brain and locked until I’m awakened or something.”
Realizing that, I said, “By awakened, you mean when you ate the Infinitum crystal?”
“Yes.” Mei nodded.
“But don’t you think this is too much knowledge?” asked Haz as he looks around the place.
Mei replied, “I also thought that as well. I’ve been spending years of reading up these books and I haven’t made a dent from all of these racks. There are just too many of them.”
“All those years and you only managed to finish a small portion of these library?!” Haz was amazed.
The library has it all. Geography, Economy, you name it and the library will have it. Of course, there’s also magic books and tomes lying around all over the place in this library. The possibilities were endless. There’s even millions of biographies to be found here as well. To me, this feels like heaven. Why? Because I’m actually a bookworm and I love reading books.
I felt like a little boy who got a birthday present that he always wanted. Then again, my birthday is coming in just a few days. Yes. It’s coming. But there’s probably nothing to be excited about since we are still figuring out how to get in Escher’s seal.
After looking around the place for a while, I stumbled upon a large door that was filled with chains and magic seals all over it. I figured it was the door that Mei was talking about. But it wasn’t it. Mei told me that the door I’m looking at was a different forbidden room. As of today, not a single clue was found on how to open it. All she knows was that it wasn’t just that single door. In fact there was a numerous amount of it.
The only thing she found out was that each year, there will be one door opened revealing more new books for her to read. After a door was opened for a while, the books inside that door will automatically be moved to the main part of the library in due time.
“So where is the door?” I asked.
“Here.” Mei lead the way for us.
We finally reached the door she was talking about and the door seems to only have two big locks that was blocking our path. It was clearly not the same as the other door especially when this door had a design to it.
“Put your hand to the lock.” said Mei.
“Are you sure about this?”
“Yes. I’m sure.”
I continued to waste time, “But what if something bad happen?”
“White.” Mei stopped me. “Trust me.” she began to give me that trustworthy look of hers.
I grit my teeth and raised my left arm. I placed my left arm at the lock. Mei did the same as well with her right arm. The moment we both touched the locks, our whole body began to shook. We felt like we were being sucked in.
“What’s going on?!” Airi tried to intervene.
“It’s alright!” Mei reassures us, “The lock is just making sure that those who touches it actually has an crystal-fused Infinitum inside their body.”
“What if someone else touches it?” asked Zone.
“Their whole Infinitum will be sucked as well as their life essence to the point of living is no longer an option but death.
“Gosh. That would be bad.” I started to get nervous.
It kept on sucking our Infinitum to the point of me starting to lose my breath. But I kept on standing there and forced myself to continue to stay spirited. After a while, the lock stopped sucking our Infinitum. In a few seconds the lock begins to unshackle itself and the door started to slowly open. Finally, it reveals to us what we've been looking for.

Bloody Hell
Alan Maxwell has one exceptional talent. He can read peoples body language and micro expressions so well that, in many cases it's not hard for him to fake being psychic. With enemies on all sides, and friends that will as soon kill each other as his enemies, Alan will have to put his skills to the test in the ultimate game of cat and mouse. ===I came up with this story in response to a question. I once asked someone why there weren't really any Yandere harems. I realize that the answer to that is 'everyone dies' but thats boring so... here we are. A story I came up with explicitly as an excuse to create a harem entirely out of obsessive psychopathic axe murderers. Or in other words - "What happens to Bond girls when they disappear?"As a warning, there are sex scenes. Its tagged. I'll leave an authors note at the top of any chapter that has them if you'd prefer to skip it.
