The flames of divinity fading away under his rule, Alexander landed back down. A small army of a few thousands was not enough to obstruct him. Even the helicopters, tanks and rifles.

One mortal was insignificant.

One billion mortals were insignificant.

No matter how many.

Some liked sayings such as a bunch of ant can still bite an elephant to death. But they never thought about what was above that.

A group of mortals can kill a stronger one. But, a group of mortals can never reach an Immortal.

"Let's go sightseeing some other city next."

.

.

Inside a café in a nearby city, Alexander was sipping on a cup of coffee.

'I still don't really like it... Bitter too. I'm a sweets guy myself.' Calling a waitress over, he ordered a small cake. The added sugar in the coffee was not enough for him.

After it arrived, he was happily smiling. Many would refuse to believe that the young man who currently was stuffing his face with chocolate had just slaughtered a couple thousands of armed soldiers just earlier.

Who would believe such nonsense?

"Hi there, can we seat here?" A duo of young girls came to greet him.

"Do what you want, I don't own the building."

He technically did however. He owned the Multiverse even. If he wished to, he could probably own the Inner and Outer Territories of Limbo. Lu Shu was gone, and so was Lu Olghun.

But it was less entertaining this way.

Looking out the window behind his seat, Alexander saw such vibrant colors under the sky of daytime.

'I always saw grey before. Even the cloudy sky could barely make me see the colors beneath. Which is also why I loved it so much. But the blue sky isn't so bad after all. Especially since I don't feel the tremendously annoying heat of the sun now. Though I still prefer the grey one.'

"Hey there, what's your name?" The girls sitting, they tried to get something out of him. Seeing a man this handsome was common outside this Universe, but within was another story. He could not blame them. He could only congratulate them. They were talented, feeling such a difference from a glance.

They had a sharp vision.

"Me? I'm Alexander, what about you two?"

"Haha! That's the name of my friend's brother! I'm Maya by the way."

'Haha! That's the name of a girl I killed, like, yesterday?' He wanted to say this, as he found it funny, but for them... it would be creepy at the very least. It was not his objective.

"Nice name."

"She's just lucky, I'm Sophia by the way."

"Nice to meet you two. So, what are you here for? There are so many open spots around, do you like this seat that much?"

Slightly embarrassed from such a tactless phrasing, they chuckled.

"Well, we thought you were really cute, so..."

Chatting leisurely, Alexander noticed something outside, but did not show anything different. After a few minutes, as the women were about to ask him a question, something happened.

The glass panels suddenly cracked open, a bright light blinding the customers and staff members. A loud echo then pierced their eardrums, a sense of pain going away as fast as it initially came.

Right after came darkness.

Taking a step outside, one would see a dozen tanks shooting as many shells as possible inside the building. The entire infrastructure was on the verge of being split in half.

Taking one last bite out of his chocolate cake, Alexander looked in front. The women previously chatting with him were melted and charred. Metal and glass shrapnel impaling them.

Humming softly, he then heard footsteps from afar before a flurry of bullets rampaged across the street, the café turning into cheese almost.

"Not very kind. Look at what you did to these poor people. Also, do you guys not care about civilians anymore? I wonder what's next? A warhead?"

Hearing these steady words from within the dark smoke, the soldiers' faces turned a few shades whiter.

"You monster!"

"Pfff! Look who's talking! I'm not the one who killed innocent people." Easily planting a Heart Demon with a few words and some Daos, he watched the interlocutor crumble to his knees with teary eyes.

"Stop the nonsense!! If you could protect yourself, couldn't you have protected them as well?"

"I could've. Yes."

"Then why didn't you do it?"

"Ha..."

"HAHAHAHAHA!! You're so funny kid! Why should I? They did nothing for me, and I didn't do anything for them. We are strangers."

"Reminds me of your beliefs. Do you want me to show you guys the truth about gods? Do you wish to see how kind they truly are to inferior beings?!" His body growing another meter, he exited the ruins. Stepping outside, on the crumbling sidewalk, he was met with cold faced soldiers.

"You people think I'm some sort of monster, immune to anything. Well, I am. But not this body. Do you want me to give you guys a chance? This body is still at the Mortal-Tier. But since I'm using Qi and spiritual energy, I am basically invincible."

"Let's make something fun, shall we? There is something I wish to see. Something... I really wish to understand, to comprehend. But most importantly, something that can prove my theories!"

"...We can... if it is reasonable."

"It is! Don't worry! Just prepare yourselves and gather the most capable martial artists of this world! To be honest, it's not even that important, you can just piss off actually. I'll do everything myself."

Smiling at them, the giant man of white and silver simply faded away like the bursts of wind howling during the moon's reign.

A few minutes later, the soldiers still dazed, a loud voice resounded across the entire world.

"I hereby challenge every single martial artist to come and battle against me to save Earth. If nobody can defeat me, Earth will cease to exist. A portal will be opened each thousand square kilometers."

Following these words, the sky darkened, a giant oval structure shielding the earth from the sun. It stayed still far above, floating like the clouds right below it.

Colorful portals opened across the entire world. People began to converge near them, probing this mysterious phenomenon. The authorities tried to stop people from going in, but it was too late already.

.

.

.

A month later, the portals closed. Alexander was not willing to wait any longer. Just keeping the people gathered alive was annoying. Said people currently sleeping or playing inside bleachers surrounding an oval arena.

Far to one side, a dark wooden manor split open was showing off an exquisite throne of the same wood where a giant was seated.

This entire structure in the sky was very similar to the one Alexander's used when testing Dao Heart Realm and Saint Realm children while using puppets. The tournament where his garbage artifacts were wagered.

The white tiled on the arena were surrounded by small trimmed trees and blades of grass. Nothing big enough to obstruct vision.

"Everyone is probably here now." His words waking up all spectators, he slowly rose from his throne, blurring.

Landing with finesse on the arena's left side, he gestured with his hand.

"Come here. One at a time. I will match your physique when fighting. You don't really have to win either, though if you don't, you might die. Actually, even if you win you could die today."

Taking the steps, a shirtless man, his body tanned, climbed onto the arena. He was nervous, still in shock of such fantasy. What was even happening? But he could feel wealth and honor from a victory here. Even if it was such a place where common sense was out the window, he still felt like trying.

"My... my name is..." Gulping, he then saw the opponent ignore him, his body changing. The two meters tall Alexander became one meter and eighty-three centimeters tall, his muscles growing slightly, a bit more full. If one was to compare them, then they would be unable to differentiate their physiques.

"I matched your constitution, physique, whatever. I won't use Qi or anything like that. I will, on the other hand, use my senses. You basically have no chance of winning, but I don't care about that."

The man was still wondering what Alexander meant. What senses? He also had them, did he not? What was this young man talking about?

Not even phased by his opponent's body turning the exact same as his own, the tanned man took steps forward, slowly.

Raising his hands up, he exposed the inner side of his forearms. He then raised his left leg slightly upward. He kept lowering and raising this same leg in a rhythm.

"Muay thai, huh? Pointless, but I'll give you credit where it is due. Being diligent like this is indeed praiseworthy. Though, are you stronger than soldiers? Most likely not." Not bothering with stance, Alexander kept his hands behind his back.

"Come on now. Get closer! Show some will! I matched your physique, we have the exact same maximum speed and power possible. Same endurance, everything is the same. Think of it as a game or a dream. Just come forward!"

Still keeping his cool, the martial artist slowly crept ahead.

After a few minutes, he was within range. Swallowing some saliva, he began with a left kick to judge Alexander.

Big mistake.

As the left leg was closing in, Alexander's right arm moved. His right hand grabbed his leg as if it was the easiest thing in the world. Crouching slightly, his center of gravity was forcefully shifted down, becoming more stable. He then pulled on the leg, before taking a right step forward.

Realizing the mess he was within, the martial artist decided to throw caution away and try to avoid fatal damage. Therefore, he barely hesitated when jumping from his right leg, putting it forward, trying to kick away Alexander. The risk of grapple was on his mind, but unfortunately, it should have been the least of his worries.

Seeing the right foot closing in, Alexander caught the man's right shin with his left hand. He now controlled both legs. Because of the lack of muscle strength and endurance, he could not match the man's quadriceps and hamstrings forever. Since he had to make a move now, the man could say goodbye to his hopes and dreams.

The man fallen on his back was still trying to exhaust Alexander, now looking up out of nowhere from sheer surprise.

"Wai-" Pushing the legs apart, he kicked the man's groin, following with an advance. His right leg, having just kicked the man's weak spot, was now hovering above his head. Stomping down, no matter how the man tried to evade with his neck and torso, the foot would mysteriously stay right above his head during its descent.

There was simply no escape.

"Like an open book." The foot crashing down, the man's skull cracked as he fainted.

"Look at that. Even after hitting the weakest link on your skull, it still didn't shatter. What a weak leg!"

The audience having calmed down, they apprehended their own turn.

Could they simply not go?
