"Lady Celes was insistent that Aurel should know and not to doubt his choice, but she didn't even give me a hint"
Bradley helplessly confessed causing the young prince to then adorably hug Bradley
"The Celes-Celestial Praetorian Gua-"
The young prince adorably mumbled before then adorably biting his tongue surprising all three causing all three to then worriedly smile in a manly manner as all men should!
"Aurel is your tongue all right?"
Bradley worriedly asked causing the young prince to then tearily nod causing both Silas and Theodore to then helplessly smile.
"It's actually The Celestial Praetorian Guard huh? Those guys are both ancient and mythical figures this should be entertaining, not to mention Aurel might even get a kick from that ancient armor of theirs.."
Theodore curiously explained.
Causing Bradley to then helplessly nod.
"In any case, this should be entertaining.. I have yet to meet any of them as my mother had so this will be my first time as well"
Bradley curiously remembered.
Causing Silas to then helplessly smile.
"I wonder if they just eat plain bread? Or maybe a 'healthy' breakfast that Aldra mentioned earlier?"
Silas joked causing both Theodore and Bradley to then freeze.
"Ju-Just bread?"
Both Bradley and Theodore worriedly asked causing Silas to then helplessly nod.
"Maybe they added some sawdust to add to the flavor? In any case, we won't find out just standing here!"
Silas joked causing Bradley to then helplessly smile.
"Let's hope that's not the case then!"
Bradley agreed, moments later they had soon left The Celestial Palace with a detachment of The Celestial King's Guard causing Aurel to then adorably look to each of The King's Guard's Armors.
Causing him to then adorably notice the small differences between them before then adorably looking back to The Celestial Palace causing Bradley to then warmly smile.
"I almost forgot you haven't seen this part of The Palace before.. I should make it a habit to show you the outside world whenever I get the chance"
Bradley remembered causing the young prince to then excitedly smile.
Before then stopping causing him to then surprisingly remember something.
"Dad-Daddy I-I wanna show you som-something!"
Aurel muttered surprising Bradley causing him to then curiously smile.
"Show away!"
Bradley happily asked causing the young prince to then slowly transform into his Celestial Human form surprising everyone including members of The Celestial King's Guard.
Causing Bradley to then proudly smile.
"It appears Lady Celes has taught you a few things! I'm jealous! I've only met her once and she only taught me one form, fortunately, I've learned something similar from my mother"
Bradley proudly remembered.
Before then proudly hugging the young prince, after the hug had ended Bradly had whispered into the young prince's ear before then slowly transforming himself, moments later Bradley's appearance had drastically changed.
His hair was a firey platinum blonde with a strange golden hue, the same could be said for his bright fiery golden eyes and skin making him even more dreamy surprising the young prince and causing Bradley to then playfully smile.
"My mother and your grandmother made sure to instill as much Ancient celestial knowledge as possible into her children, it's hard to know how much at times. She was quite the enigma?"

"I suppose Annie inherited her playfulness while Amber inherited her anger? It's really too early to speak of these things however it's quite hard not to when thinking of your mother. I'd imagine you'd agree as well my sweet prince"
Bradley reassuringly joked causing the young prince's eyes to then excitedly sparkle in amazement causing both Bradley and Theodore to then warmly smile before then finally reverting.
Soon they had soon continued where they left off before then stopping and entering the golden monstrosity that Bradley calls a carriage.
Causing even Silas of all people to then playfully shake his head all the while causing Bradley to then pout in a manly manner as all men should!
"Silas or Lord Silvanus, I bet The Dark Elves have also had ridiculous spending habits at one point or the other!"
Bradley jokingly pouted causing Silas to then playfully smile.
"Perhaps but this is still too much!"
Silas laughed causing both Theodore and Bradly to then laugh as well.
Causing the young prince to then adorably lay his head on Bradley's lap causing Bradley to then gently ruffle his hair.
Moments later they had soon arrived to the large yet ancient celestial golden Mage Tower with a series of ancient inscriptions scattered around its precious metals along with the occasional diamond.
Causing the members of The Celestial King's Guard to then quickly dismount and form two orderly lines.
Causing Theodore to then quickly put on his helmet before then exiting first followed by Silas causing Bradley to then carefully put on his crown as well.
Before then straightening out his ornate golden robe, soon both Bradley and the young prince had then left the golden monstrosity Bradly called a carriage causing Bradley to then look to the tower with a curious expression.
"We're here.. Theodore have you gotten any response? It's strange don't they usually have some guards stationed at the entrance?"
Bradley curiously asked causing Theodore to then carefully examine the surroundings.
Before then curiously recalling something.
"I have no idea either.. let's just hope they recognize The Celestial King Guard Salute! Men let's show these Praetorians how's it done in the Celestial King's Guard!"
Theodore ordered causing all the members of The Celestial King's Guard to then quickly release their Sacred Realm breath causing many of the inscriptions on the tower to then quickly light up.
Causing two members of The Celestial Praetorian Guard to soon suddenly appear where they were originally supposed to be and approach The Celestial King's Guard ignoring The Sacred Breath.
Causing many of The Celestial King's Guard to then take up defensive formations, The Celestial Praetorian Guard wore elegant yet ancient black celestial praetorian armor.
Complementing their black capes with purple trims and golden celestial pattern, Ancient Black Abyssal Iron Celestial Praetorian Magic Spears along with the insignia of a golden skull and purple crown giving it both a terrifying presence.
And breath on their chest plate all of which were covered in Guru Level Inscriptions and even some Guru Level Alchemy.
Causing both Theodore and Bradley to then frown after noticing the young prince hiding behind them and seemingly affected by the incoming breath resulting in Bradley releasing his own breath in annoyance.
'Those annoying pests really like to show off huh?'

Lilly thought via mental message.
Moments later Theodore had soon approached the two.
"Has the Praetorians fallen so low as to ignore the presence of their Celestial King and frighten their Celestial Prince?! Explain yourselves!"
Theodore reprimanded.
Causing both members of The Celestial Praetorian Guards to then respectfully bow in unison.
"Our apologies, we were informed and were in the middle of making preparations and didn't expect their Majesties to arrive so soon"
"We apologize for this misunderstanding and frightening our young celestial prince, we pray for forgiveness and will accept any punishments their majesties believe is necessary"
Both guards formally apologized causing everyone to then calm down causing Bradley to then shake his head.
"Punishments are unnecessary.. however, I would still like to leave this matter to my son, he was the one most frightened by your stunt"
Bradley worriedly reminded causing the young prince to then adorably peek at both of the Praetorian Guards from behind Bradley.
Before then adorably shaking his head causing both Bradley and Theodore to then smile.
"It seems Aurel agrees, but please refrain from such misunderstandings in the future, If my wife were here in my stead I doubt she'd be anything but civil.."
Bradley helplessly warned.
Causing both Praetorian Guards to then nod in unison.
"We thank their majesties for their kindness and will refrain from such misunderstandings in the future"
Both guards swore causing the young prince to then carefully approach the two with an adorably curious expression before then looking to their frightening insignias.
'Does Celes have a sick kink when recommending Guards? Those insignias and strange 'magic' spears are made of Abyssal Iron, don't let the name fool you it's the equivalent of both Elemental Iron and Mithril combined'
'It's even rarer than Elemental Iron and it can only grow with power through time meaning if their as old as I think they would be considered priceless artifacts, I don't want to know how they even managed to make them carry such a breath'
Lilly curiously explained.
Causing the young prince to then curiously look to both their magic spears and the ones held by members of The Celestial King's Guard causing Sylvia to then happily chime in.
'Lilly's right that stuff's freaky it wouldn't be too difficult for us to find these out but.. I don't think I want to, and you have a good eye!'
'The magic spears held by your daddy's guard are still as valuable and powerful as the ones the other guys are carrying but.. Abyssal Iron does have its own advantages and that strange breath only makes it worse'
Sylvia carefully explained causing the young prince to then adorably nod causing both Bradley and Theodore to then soon follow.
"Aurel, I know you're a young armor enthusiast, what do you think of their armor?"
Theodore asked causing the young prince to then adorably look to The Praetorian's armor once more before then adorably nodding.
"Abyssal Iron.. strange breath?"
The young prince curiously asked surprising everyone including the two members of The Celestial Praetorian Guard causing Bradley to then proudly smile before then ruffling the young prince's hair once more.
Causing him to then adorably giggle.
"Our young prince is very observant"
Both guards observed causing Silas to then playfully shake his head.
Before then noticing an almost none existent yet clearly suppressed breath approached from inside the tower causing a heavily armored little girl to soon appear out of thin air.
"Return to your posts, you two have embarrassed both me and The Celestial Praetorian Guard enough! Your fortunate that their majesties realized how dense you two are and kindly forgave you but don't expect the same from me!"
The young celestial girl ruthlessly reprimanded causing both guards to then quickly bow before then disappearing and reappearing back to their posts, the young celestial girl looked to be the same age of Noel.
However, despite this, she was covered in the same armor as the previous two guards but this time she appeared to be someone of a very high rank which was displayed by two different insignias.
One of a golden skull crossed by two purple mage spears and another which was actually a golden insignia much like the young prince's.
Complimenting her platinum blonde and bright golden eyes however only visibly, seeing as those were the only features visibly displayed.
While the rest were still hidden in a slightly more open helmet unlike the ones worn by the previous two guards.
Causing the young prince to then adorably look to her with an adorably blushing expression.
"Please forgive me for those two, I am Lord Commander and Captain of The Celestial Praetorian Guard Lady Celie Avery Vale Highlord of The Celestial Vale!"
"With introductions out of the way.. I was informed by Lady Celes of your visit and something about breakfast?"
Celie curiously asked surprising everyone causing the young prince to then excitedly hug her surprising her as well.
"Celie's like Celes and Rory! I-I love Celie!"
The young prince excitedly exclaimed causing everyone to then helplessly smile.
"It seems our Aurel doesn't change, does he? I can imagine why 'Lady' Celes fell in love with him right off the back.."
Silas playfully chimed in causing both Bradley and Theodore to then helplessly smile once more.
"Lady Celes only gave me my blessing and taught me the basics before sending me off, mother didn't take too kindly to that and even insulted Celes and decided to teach me herself out of spite.."
Bradley helplessly remembered.
All the while causing the young prince to then adorably hug Celie who was still somewhat surprised before then adorably nodding.
"Celes likes-"
The young prince adorably confessed.
Before then being promptly cut off causing Celie to then playfully hug him even tighter.
"Shh! That's a secret!"
Celie playfully whispered before then calming herself down surprising everyone even more.
Causing her to then quickly return to her adorable yet ruthless dutifully self.
"I'm loving this!"
Silas laughed causing both Theodore and Bradley to then worriedly shake their heads.
After the sideshow had finished they had soon entered The Ancient Mage Tower of The Celestial Praetorian Guard, leaving behind six of the previous eight Celestial King's Guard and bringing along two not including Theodore.
Before then being greeted by even more Celestial Praetorian Guard but this time they were even more honored until eventually, they entered a large yet Ancient Celestial Conference Hall.

MeiQ: Lore of the Labyrinth
Omaros City lays near one of several Yggdrasil trees that are scattered around the world. Each tree holds an entire labyrinthine ecosystem within or beneath it, yet the mysteries of their origins and what lays in their depths are only ever unraveled by the most skilled and courageous of explorers. Exploration of Omaros' Yggdrasil labyrinth is still in its fledgling stages, drawing in many with the allure of fame and glory that has yet to be claimed. Enter the harbinger Dubhan—cheerful, determined, and not terribly skilled at thinking ahead—and warlock Allouet— intelligent and resourceful, but desperately in over his head. Together, the two of them have half an idea of what they're doing at best, but that's not going to stop them from aiming for the labyrinth's unknown depths. MeiQ is, at its core, a fanfiction inspired by the Etrian Odyssey franchise, alternatively known as Sekaiju no Meikyuu in Japan. Despite that, it is written with the intent to be enjoyable by those unfamiliar with the series as well. The characters and the city of Omaros are original, while the story draws upon lore and recurring concepts from the game series. However, Etrian Odyssey is known for its lore being sparse and open to speculation, so much of the details provided in this story are exactly that—a fan’s speculation and personal expansion of the lore. This story was also inspired by and written as part of HereBeTreasure's Fast Food Frontpage Competition, enjoy some simple dungeon exploration plot and whatever else pops up from this.
