《Counterattack》I Know Who It Is

"What hap-" Ace stops and looks at us weirdly.
Yeah, it must be a weird sight. August is face down, and I am sitting on him, holding his hands captive.
Ace leans on the door, folding his hands with a smirk.
"Do I need to know what is happening here?"
"Yeah, I forgot how strong she had become," Blue grimaces.
"Are you planning on letting me go?" Blue questions, his face distorted with pain.
"Sorry," I apologise and get off.
"Thank you," August says, getting up. I smile sheepishly.
"So?" Ace questions, obviously interested.
"He came to hug me suddenly and-"
"Her instincts kicked in," August completes.
"Alright, stay safe, kids and keep the door open three inches," Ace smirks and leaves.
"ACE," I shriek, face turning red. I glance at Blue and find his ears turning very red. I shake my head and close the door.
"Blue, tell me in detail," I demand as I sit down.
"As far as I remember, I told you everything. But, I have a clue who took your pictures," Blue says, his expression turning serious.
"Who?" I ask nervously.
"You will not like it,"
"Is it that Barbie?"
"I wish," Blue answers with a sad smile.
"For your sake, I really wish it is her,"
"You are scaring me right now, Blue,"
"I am sorry," He sighs.
"I am still investigating, but as soon as I find that person, I will let you know,"
"Thanks," I answer.
Without any warning, I pull blue into a hug, and he stiffens, surprised and relaxes after a few seconds.
"I missed you so much, you idiot," I whisper, tears threatening to flow down my face.
"You have no idea how much I missed you," He answers, hugging me tighter. My arms are around his waist, and his arms are around my shoulder. He lays his chin on top of mine.

"Tell me what you did in these two years," I ask.
"Let's sit down first," He answers, kissing my forehead.
"Keep the door three inches open," I hear Ace's stupid voice.
Blue and I both blush. I shut the door hard enough to be heard downstairs, and blue jumps in surprise.
"Sorry," I smile sheepishly and sit on the bed, resting my back on the headboard. Blue comes closer and lays his head on my shoulder. I softly stroke his hair, and he starts talking.
"I went to Utah, to my aunt's house,"
"That is far," I say.
"Yeah," He mumbles.
"I went to a school there, and it was no fun without you and Ace. It was terrible. I did hang out with one guy, and he was cool,"
"I am sure the girls threw themselves at you," I snicker.
"Yeah, how did you know?" He asks, confused.
"Have you looked at yourself? You are tall, handsome, strong, and most of all, loyal. What more could a girl want," I say, listing off his qualities.
"So you think I am handsome," He smirks, wiggling his brows.
"That is what you got out of that?" I groan with a blush.
"Anyway, where did the confidence from the first day go? You literally came to me and asked me not to stare because you know you are handsome," I tease.
"Yeah, don't remind me of that," He grimaces, and I laugh.
"I did that because I hoped you might be watching. I wanted to show you that I am fine and not hurt or sad. I wanted you to keep hating me if the person decides to do something again," He sighs.
"I mean, I did take a big risk by actually coming back,"
"What do you think they want? What will they gain by making me hate you?" I ask.

"I am not sure, but keep acting as if you hate me. If we talk and laugh in school, they might do something again," Blue warns.
"I won't," I say firmly.
"What?" He asks, baffled.
"I will not stop talking to you just because they might do something again. I am not the same person anymore, blue. I am strong. I will beat them up if they plan something again. Nothing will make me crumble anymore," I say, anger evident in my voice.
"I am sorry, dove. I should not have suggested that." He apologises, smilingly proudly at me.
August removes his head from my shoulder and lies down. I lie beside him, looking outside the window, the sun slowly disappearing.
"The time flew by so fast. I still remember the day I saved you from those bullies. You were scrawny and weak then," August chuckles.
"But, look at you now. The bullies would pee their pants if they see you now," I laugh.
"This time, I can protect you," Blue says, beaming.
"I can protect myself, thank you very much," I say sassily.
"I know you can, but I still want to protect you. I will protect you,"
"Sure, sure," I wave him off, knowing he won't budge.
"You are stubborn," I say.
"I learnt from the best," He smirks.
Blue receives a text message, and he takes his phone. He reads the text and groans.
'What's wrong?"
"Carter is coming here. That idiot," He whines, showing me the text message.
'Dude, I missed you, my man. Coming to Utah in two days. See you then *wink emoji*'
"I am excited to meet this person," I say.
"Why?" Blue asks sceptically.
"No reason," I smirk. I want to meet the person who can annoy Blue. Blue is very patient and bearing, but if he is whining about meeting this Carter, I am sure we will get along well. I look and see Blue typing on the phone furiously.
"What are you doing?"
"I am warning him not to come here. You have the killer look on your face," He answers, not looking up. I roll my eyes and snatch the phone from his hands.
"I just want to meet your friend,"
"Yeah, but I can see a grand plan forming in your head from your expression, and none of your plans can ever be good," He answers, looking scared.
"Ok, you are overreacting,"
"Nope,"
"Yes,"
"Nope,"
"Yes,"
"Nop-, we will continue this in the morning. I am tired, so I am going to sleep," I say, giving his phone back.
"Alright, I will see you tomorrow then. I am glad I could tell you the truth," Blue smiles, getting up.
"Me too,"
"Dove,"
"Hmm?"
"Always you before-" He says, just before leaving the room. I stay still, too stunned to speak.
"Love and Life," I answer, smiling sadly.
"Goodnight, dove. I love you,"
"I love you, blue," For the first time in two years, I slept like a baby.

Until You Do It Right
The world ended on December thirty-first of the year two thousand and twenty, precisely at the stroke of midnight. The human race began to be systematically exterminated by the spawn of the System. We were given a chance to defeat them, to take back our place at the top of the food chain. We failed. The first to perish were those who bravely rebelled. The soldiers. The defenders. One by one, they fell. In their final moments, they begged for aid. Nobody replied. The next to succumb were those who feebly cowered. The deniers. The leeches. Together, they fell. In their final moments, they cried out into the darkness. Countless voices replied in kind. The last to decline were those who shamelessly ran. The deserters. The cowardly. Alone, they fell. In their final moments, they whimpered quietly. There was nobody left to answer. The final human to die was a survivor. A runner. As he died, he begged for salvation. His prayers were answered. He was offered a chance to save himself, along with all of humanity, and he took it. This is his story. “I sat in the dark and thought: There’s no big apocalypse. Just an endless procession of little ones.”― Neil Gaiman, Signal to Noise. I am absolutely new to writing and will take any and all constructive criticism. Please give feedback, it is greatly appreciated. I will update the tags as they change, and I hope that you enjoy this little story I'm writing! Quick warning: Seamus is intentionally a flawed character, and this story is going to explore those flaws and perhaps even change a few of them. I do not agree with all of his actions, but it is what it is.

Apocalypse Simulator
Axed. Moratulis: a vrmmo game that promised a life just like modern times but with the promise of fantasy adventures and magic. Except after getting into the game they found out what it actually is: a simulator of the future. The objective is simple: take out the demon king, logout, and do it again. Problem is that the game feels like it's on hardcore mode. But here's the thing: if you survive to the end, you can take to the real world all of your in-game possessions. This means your looks, money, power, and items. Keyword there: survive. And so the MC is a guy that made it to the final battle. He has seen so much shit and does not have the best view of humanity at this point. And then his teammates betray him. Cliche, right? At least he messed them up real good. But he came back a month before the game began. This is his tale. Sooo what is the point of this story? Well I kinda just wanted to write a story about scumbags and them dying in horrible ways because yes I have a twisted sense of humor like that.
