Sentenza grunted as he picked Ted up and threw him over his shoulder.

"Got the bird?" He asked as he settled Ted into a position that was more comfortable for him to carry.

Bakade had Nugget tucked back under her arm. She nodded at Sentenza.

"Whoa! That's no way to treat a lady," Pockets called out.

The wolf's growl was muffled under the ice that held his jaw shut. He tried to swipe at Pockets with his sword, but she was too close to hit with such a massive weapon.

And whenever he turned around, the handcuff around his leg pulled the clown closer to him. With her arm occupying the other half of the handcuffs, the wolf couldn't ever really get away from her.

WHAM!

The robot slammed its fist down towards the wolf and clown. The wolf tried to jump off to the side, but Pocket jumped the other way. The handcuffs strained and then the two of them were pulled back together and their bodies slammed into each other.

"Seems she's got them pretty well distracted." Sentenza commented as he shifted his shoulders again.

"Wwweeee sssshhhooouuulllldddd hhhhuuuurrrryyyyy." Bakade suggested.

"Fair enough." Sentenza nodded as he carried Ted like a sack of potatoes. "Don't know when she'll get bored and stop being helpful. Let's see if we can get the witch to keep them safe while she fixes our ride out of here."

Bakade pointed down at the strange room. "Ttthhhaaattt ttthhhiiinnnggg?" She asked.

Sentenza nodded. "Don't worry, it's worse than it looks kiddo."

"Phew, that was close." Pockets sighed as she wiped off a surprisingly large amount of sweat from her forehead.

The machine cautiously lifted its fist. A giant airbag was sitting between it and the two creatures below.

PFFFFFTTT

Air sputtered out of the protective device as it deflated. But, before it could finish and Pocket could re-pocket it, the wolf twisted his head and sliced it in half with his sword.

"Aw man," Pockets pouted. "I really like using that for a bust gag when I fall down. And you just ruined it."

The wolf looked unamused as the chill around him seemed to intensify.

Ice quickly collected on the chain that held the handcuffs together. A few icicles began to hang down as more and more ice gathered on it.

Pockets looked down and lifted up her hand as she looked as the ice spread across their connection and even her arm began to ice over.

"Whoa, chill out with that, will you?" Pockets said before she did a quick tap dance and followed it up with jazz hands.

The wolf was clearly furious. His murderous intent was so palpable it was almost toxic. And as the robot tried to crush them both again, the wolf and Pockets repeated their last mistake. They both went the opposite direction they had last time, and were stopped by their binding.
