After our introductions Alexa reminded us.
“We need to register our party down in the reception before the guild closes.”
“Then let's go!” Bart said heading out first.
After paying for the room we then go back downstairs and head for Zana's counter where we will register our party.
“How may I help you?”
Seeing us Zana asked us with her usual smile.
“We plan of registering as a party.” Denn said as he gave our guild badges which he collected when we were upstairs.
After hearing what Denn said Zana eyes widened as she looked at me in which I smiled at her embarrassingly, we didn't talk but she gave me a little smile before she asked Denn again.
“Whose your party leader?”
“Denn will!” Bart said immediately with me and Alexa agreeing to it while Denn just smiled.
“Name of your party?” Zana asked again after clicking something over the counter.
Hearing her question all of us looked towards Bart who's the one that proposed us becoming party, noticing us all looking towards him he smiled.
“Bart and his friends.” he said looking towards us with a confident smile.
“Are you...sure about that name?” Zana asked us with a look of worry.
“Are you an idiot?” Alexa asked mockingly as she looked towards Bart.
“No I'm not, its a good name that I just thought of.”
”Right, you're an idiot.”
“Calm down Alexa its just joke right Bart?”
Denn asked as he looks towards Bart.
“But-”
Bart want to add something more but Denn interrupted him as he looked at me.
“Do you have any suggestion?”
“What about Dream Chasers, because of how each one of us have a dream of their own, I guess, and we are chasing those dreams.” I suggested.
“At least its much better than what you suggested.” Alexa said still angry at Bart.
“Its just a little better than mine.”
“Alright looks like everyone agrees.” Denn nodded as he gave our party name to Zana.
Then she started clicking something again over the counter and after couple of seconds our badges is given back with the name of our party below our names.
“Congratulations you are now registered as party named Dream Chasers, the highest rank in your party is iron so you can take quest that are for those ranks as a party.”
“So we can takes harder quest?! Yes!” Bart said with an excitement on his voice.
“Your the one to suggest we party up but you did not even know that?” Alexa chided.
“Now, now you don't have to waste your energy fighting each other because tomorrow we will be fighting together for the first time.” Denn said as we thank Zana and made our way out of the guild.
“Do we take a iron rank quest?!” asked by Bart.
“No, its too dangerous for us as we don't even know how to fight properly as a team so we will take quest about killing some weak monster for now until we familiarize to each other and also you're wounded so you should practice using your sword in your left hand starting tomorrow.” explained by Denn pointing towards Bart's right arm making Bart look a little sad.

“Prepare yourself for tomorrow we will meet here at the guild when the busy time passed and ready ourselves before heading out.” Denn added as he walks away while waving the back of his hand to us.
“Then see you tomorrow, you two.” I said to Alexa and Bart as I head back towards the inn I'm staying.
Then I ate my dinner which is delicious as always and slept.
Next morning I head to the guild to meet up with others then after we planned on what and how do we fight as a team we headed towards the forest to search for the goblins and after a couple of minutes of following tracks we found three goblins with one of them using a weapon which is a hand axe.
“There's three of them, seeing that they did not notice us we will try ambushing them, Alexa stay here and shoot the one with weapon while you two go towards the left one I'll take the right, I'll signal first before we attack them got it?” Denn explained and points towards the place we'll stay for ambush.
““Yes.”” We replied as I and Bart walks slowly towards the place pointed by Denn and so is Denn while Alexa nocks an arrow into her bow.
Then after me and Bart holding both daggers instead of swords settle in the thicket the goblins neared to the place of ambush and when they're about to passed us Denn's voice reverberated through the forest.
“Go!”
The goblin that has a weapon tried to look towards where Denn is but before it can turn its neck a swishing sound came and an arrow was now lodge in its left eye but before its body fall the three of us neared the two goblins with Denn being the first slicing its body while me and Bart both thrust our daggers with me in the head while him in the stomach, In just a couple a second we killed a three goblins.
“Good job, looks like this goblins just killed someone recently seeing that they've not even notice our presence and how this axe still have blood from it.” Denn said after he picked up the axe and examined it.
“What do we do next?” Alexa asked.
“Kill more of them!” Bart said as he sliced the ear of the goblin.
“Yes we will, if we meet different monsters that are weaker than goblin or about the same with it we will fight it upfront or ambush it like we did earlier to learn better ways to fight them as a team.”
Agreeing to Bart, Denn said it as he put the ears in a pouch and the hand axe hang in his hips, in this trip we didn't have any bags knowing that it would get in the way and were focus in fighting this time not gathering loots.
“Then what monster do we attack next?” I asked curious to know if its a monster I read from the book or not.
“Well if we can find some maybe something that walks in four feet so that we familiarize ourselves with it like wolves or boar or giant rats but first let's look towards where this trio come from maybe we can find something.” Denn replied as he started heading towards the path those goblins took before being killed by us.

We followed it and there we saw a body that grown cold already, it belongs to a young man whose about the same age as Denn, his body have purple tints here and there showing that he is killed by a poison.
“Looks like he was ambushed.” Denn remarked as he took a copper plate in the body's pouch.
“Do you know him?” Alexa asked looking at the guild badge.
“No, its a newbie who got overconfident and entered this deep in the forest.” he replied.
“He got killed just like that?” Bart asked with a voice lower than usual.
“This is what mercenary are, we take money in exchange for our safety. That's why I want to have my own farm even though I got to pay taxes for it because I want to have a happy life and die when I am old.” Denn said helplessly “Sigh, you two help me we'll buried his body to show our respect.” he added with a heavy sigh as Bart and me help him buried the body.
After finishing that we stand before the mound which the poor man was buried in and the three of them made a sign in their chest in sync which surprise me so I asked about it.
“What's that sign for?”
“Its a sign we do when praying." Alexa said. “Do you not know about it?”
“It's my first time seeing it.” I replied honestly.
“The church spread its use just a couple of years ago for the people who can't attend mass so they can pray to the gods without going to the church.” Denn who as always know many things explained it. “Maybe that's why you don't know about it.”
“I guess.”
Finishing the little burial we got back into hunting monsters, we then encountered another goblin which Bart killed easily then a lone wolf which all stick and bone it tried to ambush Denn but it was parried by his round shield followed by a sword in its stomach, then we continued until the sun started to set, we met a total of about 15 more monster which most of them are goblins while the remaining ones are lone wolves who are skinny and old.
“We have a nice teamwork the only thing that needs more work is our formation when in a fight especially both of you.” Denn said looking back at the me and Bart who are following him and Alexa towards the city. “Bart you need to familiarize more in using the sword only with your left hand, earlier you are holding it with both hands to add more power, you should rest your right hand so that it can heal faster.” Denn said as he tapped his own right arm with his left hand.
“It's hard but I'll try!” Bart replied.
“And you'll probably need to change your main weapon to something more easier like a spear, it have longer range and its much easier to wield than the sword, just a thrust of it can be fatal, Its just my suggestion you can brush it off if you like using sword but you'll help us more if you can fight by yourself.” Denn suggested to me which I agreed immediately knowing that I am the weakest among the party.
“Thanks for the advice I'll follow it but do you know where I can buy a cheap spear I don’t have much money in me right now.”
“I can take you there tomorrow after we took a quest in the guild and don't worry if we have a time I'll teach you how to wield a sword, from my own knowledge.”
“So how do we split our earnings for the day?” Alexa asked Denn as we neared the gates.
“We share it evenly for the four of us." he replied. “And I suggest that what left or extra would be kept for the travel expenses when we travel through different towns and villages as we accept a quest like that in future.”
“So we can do quest while in the different place? I agree to it.” I said raising my hand.
“I agree too!” Bart followed.
“I am too, but whose going to keep the money?” Alexa asked.
““You.”” which the three of us answered together pointing towards her.
“Why me?!”
“Cause your too serious.”
“Because I think you'll do the best job in it.”
“I trust you.”
Hearing our answers Alexa sighed and accept the task given to her grudgingly but her expression beg to differ.
We then arrived at the gates, showing our badges we was let in the city and like yesterday we sold the weapons that we got from the monsters in the blacksmith then we headed towards the guild, there we brought the proof of subjugation making our quest finished and my completed quest into five, just a half more and I can became an iron rank too, then we split up the money by four and gave the extra to Alexa, when were about to separate with each other Denn called us.
“How about we celebrate the completion of our first party quest and creation of our party? I know a good restaurant.”
The three of us agreed and followed Denn to a restaurant which have good food, there we talked about ourselves until the city was enveloped by darkness, we then go back towards our own place that we stay at with a big smile in our faces.
'So both Alexa and Bart are orphans from the same village and Denn is a third son from a family of farmers.' I thought while laying in my bed.
“I hope we can have a great dream.”
I said to no one as I closed my eyes.

The 8th Day
One day life is good. The next day it isn't! The boundaries between... well, whatever they're between.. have shattered! Monsters burst out from cracks in the universe, and reality suddenly begins to function similar to a game -- but not a game that anyone knows all the rules about! Magic is suddenly real, but so are monsters and death! Lots of death! And the worst part of it all? I think we did it to ourselves! We invented video games, and personally I think that great Finger-in-the-Sky picked up a console somewhere and started playing them. Since He liked what he saw, he must've declared, """"On the 8th Day, let there be Game!"But what do I know about it all, really. After all, I'm just """"The Witness"""" forced to observe it all.__________________________________________________________________________Author's Note: There's a lot of tales where characters get stuck in a Virtual Reality. """"Sword Art Online"""", """"Log Horizon"""", """"The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor"""". This is a story told with the premise inverted -- instead of a person from reality going into a virtual world, what would happen if the virtual world instead came to reality?I want this tale to speak about the aspects of the game, as it has affected the current reality, but the focus of the story should never be on the """"reality-turned-game"""" itself, but on the characters and their oh-so-human struggles, personalities, and attempt to adjust and live within the bounds of their new existence. Hopefully this won't just be a story of """"reality turned into a game"""", but instead will be something more meaningful such as a story of the strengths, perseverance, and humanity of man-kind as they try to adapt and face the unknown.*** And, most importantly, I hope everyone enjoys reading it as much as I've enjoyed writing it. ***WARNING: RATED MATURE M[18+] FOR GORE, SEX, VIOLENCE. The apocalypse isn't a pretty place to try to survive in, and neither is every scene in a story trying to describe it.
