And where are we exactly?”

Seraphin asks Lekas as she follows him to the shop. Without answering her, he grabs the door of the shop and tries to open it but the door instead gets yanked out.

“Huh…”

“Lekas.” Seraphin calls her husband with a cold voice this time. She doesn’t like to be ignored, at all.

“Y-yes.” Lekas feels a chill running down his spine and turns around with a submissive face.

“Where are we?” This time, Seraphin didn’t seem to be asking but to be ordering him to answer.

“Ah, well, this is the best weapons shop of all of Licol.”

“The best shop?” Seraphin’s mood immediately changes at those words. This is the best shop in all of Licol? How? What were all those previous shops they went through then? Were they mere illusions? “You can’t be serious, right?”

“What do you want?” Suddenly, a woman’s voice resounds from inside the shop.

‘Ah, so she is still here after all. It was her child last time so I didn’t get to see her.’

Lekas smiles as he enters the shop, leaving the door on the ground behind him.

“Good morning. We are-”

“I told you already! You guys won’t be receiving even a single gold from me. So if you want to continue smashing down my shop, do so!”

The woman comes out with a steel sword in hand. She is…she is a dwarf. A woman with the size of a young teenager comes out of a wrecked door and the contrast with her voice immediately strikes everyone like lightning.

The woman is wearing a stained leather apron, with a handkerchief tying her hair on her head. She has a brown dirty dress underneath the apron and dirty shoes as well. Everything about her is a screaming blacksmith. Only the steel sword she is holding, which is almost her size, looks poorly matched with her appearance.

“Now, do what you have to but do know I will not stay idle anymore!”

The woman points her sword at Lekas with menacing eyes and even though she is small, her anger isn’t.

“I see. So those guys are actually ruining your shop then.”

Lekas looks at the woman with sadness and at the same time, people start to walk down the alley towards the shop. Fifteen people, dressed like hooligans; all of them armed with either shabby-looking swords or wooden maces.

“Tch. So, you weren’t with them? I guess I have mistaken you. I am sorry. But what are adventurers doing here?”

The dwarf is extremely surprised to see adventurers in her shop. After all, with everything that has been going on for the past two years, she has seen a single possible customer inside.

“Well, we came to purchase your weapons but it seems we will have to take care of this first.”

“You came to buy weapons from me? But-”

“Hey! Stupid woman!! You brought another set of guardians again? You didn’t get the lesson from last time?!”

Among the men that are standing outside, the only one wearing a chest plate advances and screams at the people inside the shop while massaging his neck. From his annoyed face, it is easy to guess he is tired of coming here.

“Listen, I don’t know who sent you here but leave. I don’t sell weapons anymore.” The dwarf pushes Lekas to the side while going outside after saying that. Lekas and his companions can see her hand trembling while holding the sword as she gets out of the shop to face her opponents. Right after she gets out, Seraphin looks at her husband. Her eyes clearly indicate that she wants to help but unlike her, Lekas doesn’t seem to be of the same opinion.

“She said she doesn’t need help, right?”

At those words from Lekas, Seraphin’s heart starts beating like crazy. Before she herself notices, she slaps the man she thought was a kind and benevolent man. Then goes out in a furry, drawing her sword as she stands next to the dwarf.

“What are you doing? I told you that I don’t sell weapons anymore.”

“I don’t care. I cannot let you do this alone.”

“Hey! Hey! Hey! What is this?!”

“Hey, man. You see that beauty?”

“Woohoo!! The little shrimp brought us a prostitute to play with today! Hey, guys! She is mine alright?!!”

“In your dreams, Tucker!!”

The apparently chief of the gang, Tucker, gets all high-spirited as she sees Seraphin’s beautiful face while she ties her hair on the back of her head.

“Okay, guys!! Get them!!”

“Ohh!!”

At Tucker’s signal, ten people move in disorder and run to Seraphin and the dwarf. The first to move and strike, however, is the woman who is furious about the behavior of the man she loves.

‘That idiot!!’

While she thinking again and again about what Lekas said, Seraphin kicks the first man who reaches her and with her sword, severs his hand clean without looking.

“Gyaarh!!”

While the man falls on the dirty ground, two others appear behind him and slash brutally with their swords.

‘Just because she said not to help doesn’t mean we shouldn’t help!! She was obviously just trying to be nice!!’

Their attacks, however, is blocked and countered with one of Melka’s technique: the untouchable rose. Sadly for them, Seraphin is not only absent-minded right now, she is angry as well. There is therefore no way they would escape with the same luck as the guy who got his hand sliced off. Their heads roll on the floor while a blood trail created by Seraphin’s sword gets on the ground, splashing up until the five men that are still standing far behind.

“Hyii!!”

“What the hell is this woman?!!”

The rest of them gets scared at this sight. And that’s when they finally realize. The woman in front of him right now, she isn’t any kind of prostitute or any possible entertainment. She is the real deal, a real warrior, a real swordman.
