《MY DEAREST WISH》Prologue

"We greet your majesty: the emperor of light! The ultimate slayer! The king of kings!"
In a white and gold-covered hall with huge pillars made of marble stones, two men and women kneel in front of stairs. No, not stairs but a throne at the top. The stairs, however, go so high it is impossible to see the top when kneeling. The room is at least twenty meters high and the detailed scriptures on the ceilings are so marvelous it is difficult to imagine how somebody was able to draw them there. There are more than three hundred soldiers in the hall, all of them wearing beautiful and designed armors made of a red and shining metal. Their elegance is even more drawn out by the single feather sticking out of their helmet.
At the top of the stairs, on the huge throne big enough to allow five persons to seat without a problem, a single man waves his hand. His other arm is missing, proof of his numerous battles. His left blind eye with the scar cutting it, shows his courage. But sadly, his grey hair and tired skin prove the unbreakable passage of time.
"Yeah, yeah, out with it."
The emperor, the one who conquered all the east, the one who killed thousands of demons and unified the whole world against them… His way of answering when praised would be shocking to anyone who doesn't know him. The soldiers in the room, especially, are shocked enough to start looking at each other with interrogation.
"What? Are you pouting again?" But not to the four people greeting him.
"You know damn well I don't like all those fanciful and stupid names, and you guys are as popular as me."
The four people who greeted the emperor are no younger than him. All of them are seasoned warriors, companions who had shared blood and tears together. They are the four miracles.

"Lekas has never been one for accepting compliment anyways." The third miracle spoke first. An old elf, wearing a pink dress and a silver bracelet on her left arm. Her grey hair are still shining and nicely attached in a braid ideally resting on her left shoulder. She is called the miracle of magic: SILPHANIE DURANT.
"Yeah, he always ran away whenever you told him he was cute. Ahaha!" The second miracle, the miracle of weapons: ALDEIT FORSWORN. A beastman of the tiger tribe. His tiger ears sticking on top of his head are the only thing that kept their fire-like orange color. His hair and everything else had turned grey, creating a weird contrast that would directly make him stand out. Older than the emperor, he is wearing a heavy looking armor without any design aside from a huge egg like shaped amethyst on the center.
"Stop teasing him or he will run away again." The fourth miracle, the miracle of technology: ELDOR FORSWORN. A bit younger than the emperor but her short height made people think otherwise. Being a half-dwarf, she has a naturally younger look than most people. Her white dress is simple and she has no ornament on her except her engagement ring which is unifying her with the second miracle.
"…You guys never care about the place, do you?" The first miracle, the miracle of life: WINDHIL LOKFORTH. The youngest in appearance among them. Being a high-elf, his trait are naturally forgiven by age. His blue robe as well, emphasizes his young appearance even more.
"They never do indeed." The Emperor finally speaks, breaking the awkward atmosphere among the soldiers in the hall that cannot help but listen to the conversation. "Let's take this elsewhere."
The emperor rises from his seat as he says that, then, waving his fingers, the four people disappeared in a pillar of light. While the soldiers are captivated by the teleportation magic used by their emperor, he disappears as well.

"You look worse than I imagined." Windhil speaks as soon as they reappear. They are now the emperor bedroom, all alone with the emperor, lying on a bed.
"Yeah, that's why I used the summon after all."
The emperor sitting on the throne was only a summon meant to answer on a certain way if not given specific command by the emperor.
"How do you feel?" Silphanie asks as she touches his sweaty cheek, her eyes filled with affection and love.
"Not bad. My time has finally come and the people I cared the most about are here, so I can say I am pretty happy right now."
"In the end, you won the bet. You eunuch bastard." Aldeit speaks harshly to the emperor.
The others could have become angry at his words. But the tears flowing down his eyes are more than enough to understand his sorrow. Aldeit was never one to grief. He lived his whole life without ever shedding tears, even when his sisters were killed. But right now, the most powerful fighter of the continent is crying.
"You should have told me that you were eunuch, I would have never made that stupid debt."
Aldeit is not a man to show his emotions easily. In order to hide his true feelings, he is trying to talk about a topic that could ease his pain. The fact that the emperor didn't have any children or wives.
"Don't ruin my golden carpet with your tears, you old fuck." The emperor, however, is not one to leave provocations unanswered, making Aldeit smile awkwardly.
"Fuck you man…Sob…Sob."
"Fuck you too."
The two started cursing at each other like little children, making the atmosphere of the room warm.
"Do you still want to do it?" Finally, Windhil breaks the fight between the two, sensing that the time is near.
"Yes, at least once, I want to see that bastard and tell him how I feel."
"I will tell you once again. I can't promise you that it will work. Even if it does, you surely won't be able to stay there more than five minutes. The gods' realm naturally expulses anything that is not of godly nature."
"I know already."
"Okay. Then, please, everyone."
As soon as Windhil raises his hands at mid-level of his stomach, everybody in the room unleashed his magical power. Making the whole palace shake like it was bombarded by a meteor.
"Windhil, I will always be grateful for everything. Aldeit, your breath still stinks. Eldor, I was never able to answer your question, you are indeed the smartest person I have ever known. Silphanie…I…"
"It's okay. You don't need to say it."
A single tear ran down Silpphanie's eyes when she closes them at that moment. It is too hard for her to see the last moment of the man she loved for more than thirty years... unlike somebody else.
"Yeah, you smell like rat's feces anyway." The greatest warrior Aldeit can't bear the too heavy atmosphere. He isn't used to it.
"If we ever meet again. I will say what has to be said. I promise." The emperor smiles while speaking to the miracle of magic.
Outside, above the majestic castle where three towers of different colors stick out, a gigantic magic circle appears that day, then a huge magic explosion resonates throughout the continent together with a purple wave that reached the clouds and every corner of the city.
It was the death of the emperor, the death of the ultimate slayer, the death of the king of kings: LEKAS VALAHAL.
