《Azure Chronicles》Chapter 36: Magistrate Meeting

Zulcrestus(in his armour) and Callie(in a more study version of her scientist uniform) walked through the finely detailed corridors of the royal palace with Prima (in a dress made out of layered golden metal plating made from the same material her battle axe was made of) and Yumi(in a short slime dress made formed from her body) sitting on Zulcrestus' shoulders.
"Are you sure you're not mama's boyfriend?" Prima asked as she took a bite out of an apple-sized and shaped fire mana crystal.
"Of course he's not, our relationship is much deeper than that." Callie proudly stated. Yumi took a bite out of a glowing steel bar, leaving a bite mark that sizzled and started to slightly dissolve.
"Is he your hoosband?" Yumi asked with her mouth full. Callie drooped her ears and sadly sighed.
"Sadly not, but maybe one day he'll openly accept my feelings." Callie pleaded as she placed her hands together in a praying motion.
"Please, lords of the divine, make Zuzu realise that he doesn't have to act emotionless and stoic all the time,". Prima and Yumi mimicked Callie and started to pray as well, making Zulcrestus agitatedly sigh.
"Well well if it isn't the love birds." a tall woman, with almost completely white-skin, metallic-liquid-super-teal-hair as the tips glowed teal, smugly grinned. The woman(dressed in a DJ-themed armour) raised her DJ visor, exposing her cd like eyes, with a glowing streak on each of her iris', as Zulcrestus and Callie approached. The woman appeared as if she was about to continue speaking before stopping as she made eye contact with Prima and Yumi. The woman's grin morphed into a devious smirk before she glanced over at Callie.
"Miss Echo, it wouldn't be appropriate to say such things in front of children." a young boy and young girl sounding voices stated simultaneously. Echo turned around before looking exacerbated at the shadowy black mist-bodied boy with glowing white dots for eyes and mouth, hovering above the group. Echo grabbed the boy's long cloak and yanked him to the ground. The boy landed on the ground and his mask, which covered half his face, fell onto the ground.
"Don't go acting all high and mighty just because you've become a Magistrate, Karock," Echo snarked as Karock pick up his mask and placed it back on the left side of his face. Karock stood up and he floated up to Echo's eye level as angerly glared at her.

"And don't think just because you're an attractive woman I won't hesitate to kick your a- butt," Marock yelled as his two voices became more distinct from each other as he yelled.
"Haha, don't think I'll overlook that threat just because you complimented me first, brat!" Echo smugly shouted. Karock was visibly offended by Echo calling him a brat.
"Brat! Well I guess anyone would be a child compared to an old bi- hag!". Echo spitefully gritted her teeth as she stared daggers at Karock. The two continued to angerly bicker and edged closer to breaking out into a fight; however, a single heavy sigh from Zulcrestus was all it took for the two to collectively freak out and both staggered around towards Zulcrestus. Echo awkwardly chuckled while Karock shifted through multiple salutes until he got the correct salute. Zulcrestus' let out a quiet sigh and walked past the two.
"Idiots..." Zulcrestus said under his breath, with Callie hurrying behind him. Echo relievedly exhaled with a confused grin on her face.
"Phew, for a second there I thought he was about to reprehend me... again," Echo mumbled. Echo grabbed onto Karock's cloak and dragged him along with her as she followed after Zulcrestus.
A few minutes later in the throne room, Zulcrestus and the others bowed before a seemingly sleeping Providence as he was resting his head on his left arm. Destiny giddily swung her legs back and forth as she energetically looked at all the magistrates. Destiny glanced over at Providence and noticed he was sleeping. Destiny angerly puffed up her cheeks and created a rainbow-coloured magic bubble between her hands. She formed a water balloon inside the bubble and fired it a Providence.
The water balloon splashed Providence in the head, but he didn't show any response. Destiny puffed her cheeks even harder and raised her hands, and the magic bubble, above her head. Destiny proceeded to create and fire increasingly heavy and larger objects at Providence; which included a baseball, a football, a bowling ball, a shotput and finally a cinder block. The cinder block crumbled as it collided with Providence's head. Providence slowly opened his left eye and noticed the group kneeling before him. He closed his eye as he yawned and sat up straight. He opened his eyes and glanced over at Prima and Yumi.
"You summoned us, Emperor King?" Zulcrestus rhetorically asked.
"Indeed..." Providence stated as he stood up before walking down the three steps between the thrones and Zulcrestus. Providence raised his left hand and a white star-shaped mana construct(like the one floating above Zulcrestus' shoulder) formed above his palm. Lights beamed out of the construct and created a 2D map made out of white light mana with two glowing markers(one located in the territory of the Zelkio empire and one in the Aivikkra Continent).

"...it'll be the ten-year mark since the last azure moon, and I can assume you know what that entails, Magistrate Zulcrestus.".
"Of course, Emperor King," Zulcrestus replied while slightly lowering his head.
"Good..., and don't concern yourself with assisting Xero in the rescue operation, I'll have Magistrate Magastratous assist him," Providence stated. Zulcrestus nodded his head in acknowledgement.
"Should I depart imminently them, emperor?" Karock inquired. Providence nodded his head and Karock gave him a bow before disappearing in a cloud made of shadows.
"Then I shall depart for the Aivikkra Continent at once," Zulcrestus stated before standing up and appearing to disappear. Destiny instantly sat up on her throne and frantically darted her eyes around.
"Where'd-how'd he go!" Destiny confusedly asked.
"He used Extreme Speed, you know the azure ability that makes... you got fast..." Fate mumbled as she slouched down on her throne and rested her arms on the arm of her throne.
"Now Magistrate Vikala and Magistrate Calloukus,". Providence's voice echoed through the halls of the throne room, making Echo's body shiver.
"Y-yes emperor king?" Echo asked.
"Since Zulcrestus is heading for the Ruination Alter, I'll have you go and escort the daughter of Raiden here.". Callie tilted her head at Providence's request.
"He has a daughter?" Callie confusedly asked.
"Yeah, and she talks really funny," Destiny added.
"Talks funny?" Callie repeated. Providence had a slightly surprised look on his face and lightly scratched the magic mark right above his right eye.
"That reminds me... you'll probably need this," Providence stated as he created a storage pocket bubble and pulled a book out of it. Providence handed the book to Echo, and she, including Callie, Prima and Yumi, read the cover of the book titled A Comprehensive Guide To Understanding The Oracle Shogun Kara Raiden.
"Oh boy..." Callie muttered as she counted over three hundred pages. Destiny hopped off her throne and hurried over to Providence.
"So, father are you done with the meeting now? Cus I wanna play with the kids next to Callie." Destiny demanded. Providence rubbed his eyes before looking directly at Callie.
"Thank you for reminding me sweetie," Providence said, while slightly stuttering, and patted Destiny on the head.
"So these two are the elemental... people you've currently created so far? It's nice to see them in person." Providence inquired. Callie proudly stood up and picked Prima and Yumi up.
"That's right, these two are Prima and Yumi; they're not only super cute but they're also super strong, Zuzu even thought so... wait what do you mean by in person?". Providence chuckled and created another star-shaped light mana construct. The construct began to shine and projected a video of Zulcrestus, Prima and Yumi fighting the bandits in Humforth. Prima and Yumi rushed over to the video projection and were mesmerized.
"They certainly are, and if they can prove to be as capable as their father, I might consider making them magistrates," Providence remarked as he dispelled the light construct projecting the video.
"He's our dad?! I thought he was just Mama's boyfriend or something." Prima shouted with a surprised tone. Providence sighed and looked over at Callie.
"What is the progress on the other two elemental prototypes?". Callie went to answer before her eyes widened and she slammed her hands on the side of her head.
"Oh, fudge-" Callie managed to say before a booming explosion shook the throne room and a black cloud erupted past the window. Everyone rushed over to the large windows, except Providence who calmly walked, followed the trail of smoke, with their eyes, to its source and realised it was coming from the open-air hanger. While everyone was watching zelkio knights and royal guards hurried over to the smoking airship, Callie noticed Providence was heading for the smashed window.
"I'm so sorry Emperor if I hadn't overslept I would of-". Providence simple shook his head and Callie glumly looked at the ground.
"You don't have anything to apologise for, if I hadn't been so sleep-deprived I would have noticed and postponed the meeting until tomorrow," Providence stated. Callie thanked him before Providence flew out the window and down to the hanger while Fate was still sleeping on her throne.
