{Flashback 5 minutes before Jed crashes onto the the fleet of Qavvet ships}

“How is the preparation for the war going?” as the General checks up on the preparation area.

“Doing good sir! All units and ships will be ready in 8 minutes sir!” as the human stands up and salutes.

“That’s good, now one of you tell how many we are dealing with again, this time?” as the general walks around the room

“About 20 advanced military ships, 5 of them equipped with Energy Nullifier, and one of them seem to be equipped with a new weapon attached to it that we never seen before, and the rest have regular typical weapons an advanced Qavvet ships have,” as one of the Combat Navigator’s speak up

“Not bad, not as deadly as the last fight, but we still need to prioritize the least amount of damage and injuries to our soldiers and ships. Continue the preparation as if we are fighting a swarm of Globon’s!” as the Captain turns and slowly leaves the room followed by everyone saluting the General, ”Sir yes sir!”

As right before the General completely becomes no longer visible out of the door, a large energy surge spreads throughout the entire military facility, causing all technology and lights to briefly turn off and turn back on.

“What the hell was that!” as the General get’s back up and rushes back inside the room giving help to most of the people inside.

“General! A massive amount of energy was detected near the edge of the Oort belt and close to Pluto!” as one of the Energy Space Trackers brings up a map showing where the amount of energy came from.

“Wait, isn't that where the Qavvet’s ships are?” as one of the Combat Navigators spoke up, still in pain.

“So there is a high chance that was them firing, correct?” as the General was about to press an emergency button but was stopped by one of the Leader of the Energy Trackers.

“General I advice you to stop, it’s not coming from any weapons in there ship as one no amount of attacking power could momentarily disable the power of a whole facility, it would need to be an object capable of hitting at the speeds of equivalent to 100x the speed of light, if you include all of our defenses, and another is that there would be alarms going off indicating a projectile is coming right for us.” as the General puts away the emergency button.

“Care to explain it then Colonel Darnell?”

“Well if we were to bring up the map to see where the energy came from, and zoom right in,” as the Colonel zooms in the picture and data,” You can see that the energy came outside of the ships, and originated somewhere else and it striked the fleet of ships causing a large amount of energy to spread out fast, and since our facility is near Neptune’s orbit we felt it but not as much,” as a large amount of energy trail is coming outside of the Solar System

“So what was it that caused so much energy?”

“Well here’s the interesting and surprising part. It’s a humanoid shaped object that strikes the ships that caused nearly 1/3 of the ships to be immediately obliterated and most of the other ships stopped working or needed to recharge up,” as the Colonel shows what his team found while talking.

“That looks really similar to a human like us. It seems to be distracting and attacking the fleet. Let’s put this up on our holographic screen.” as they transferred making it visible for everyone in the room to watch.

“Shouldn’t we help that thing fight off the highly trained Qavvet’s? They are built for battle and war,” as one of the researchers speaks up from the back.

“I don’t think it needs help. Judging by how it’s easily cutting through the ship's interior and fighting all the Qavvet’s at once inside a single ship fully equipped. I think it’s fine,” as they watch the thing brutally slaughter the Qavvet’s inside the ship as if they were just made of butter.

“What the hell is that firepower! How is that compacted into a single creature or even weapon! That gun pierced through their battle suit that we can’t even do when we fight them without current guns and technology!” as a group of Researchers watches the fight intently and analyzing it while writing down and recording it on their notebooks.

While The Colonel, The general, and the rest of the maintenance and preparation group were watching the fight going on, a group of soldiers quickly surrounded the entrance.

“General! You are currently broadcasting this entire fight back to the entire facility and towards Earth, Mars, Venus, and the rest of the settlements in the solar system!” as the Soldier brought up the live broadcast of the news and the internet as every single human is watching the creature decimating the Qavvet fleet.

“Oh god no! I am definitely going to be demoted or even fired from my job by the entire Council!” as the General is in shock of witnessing and imagining billions of civilians and maybe even the higher ups and superiors also watching this.

“Well any minute now and I am about to receive a call, right about now.” as his phone starts to ring and everyone in the room stares at it for a quick second and goes back to watching the fight.

“Greetings General Waller, you are aware of what you just broadcast aren't you? And probably right now you are waiting to be demoted from your ranks or even get kicked out. But that’s not what we called, and address the fact that you are broadcasting an entire war of a fleet of Qavvet’s being destroyed by a creature of unknown origins. The President of the Human Council wants to make a deal,” as she leaves the call and the most prestigious and powerful leader is about to talk to him.

“Oh crap, please be a small rank demotion or something! Maybe getting unlisted from the military would be the harshest, but please anything but that!” as the President talks.

“Hello there General Waller, glad to hear ya again,” as he immediately starts getting worried and terrified.

“Hello there president, what can I do for you,” as he almost messes up his sentences

“Don’t be afraid General, I am not here to demote or anything bad happen to you. But instead I want to make an offer,” as the president calmly says it but in a serious tone

“What is the offer President?”, ’Please be small, please be not that hard and serious!’

“I want you to try and communicate with the creature that is currently fighting and seems to be protecting us from the Qavvet’s, according to my top researchers, and try to make allies with it or even join us, and if you do that I will let you off a warning and a be unlisted to the military for about 1-2 months. You need to have a small punishment for what you just did, you know?” as the President finishes his talk.

“So do I get any help from my soldiers or group, or any other features I need to be addressed before this offer that I rightfully accept,” as the General calms down and starts thinking about plans on how to go about this mission.

“Two to four of my trusted guards and ships will be watching you and protecting you while talking and knowing those creatures. You will of course be broadcasting your entire conversation, as to repay on what you did. Lastly you need to make sure to be as friendly and not be dangerous as possible, as currently it just made another group of Qavvet’s with a brand new weapon it manifested, started to make them give seizures and cough up blood when they got shot at,” as the President reminds him that it’s still broadcasting.

“Should I turn it off the live broadcast sir?” as he walks over to the machine and gets ready to turn it off.

“You don’t need to as everyone is clearly aware of what’s happening, and would probably cause panic and anger when it’s turned and the fight is interesting to watch I have to give it that, feels nostalgia watching a sci-fi movie in the 90s.Now get into a move on and prepare your ship, and don’t bring any big ships as you will be alone doing this, to clarify even more.” as the President sighs and clears his throat

“Alright sir, I will be ready as soon as possible, is that all?” as the General sighs in relief

“That’s all General, hope you succeed on my request,” as the President ends the call.

“Well crap guess I am doing this,” as he puts it away and looks up at the screen to see the Creature now just floating in space and is holding a very long weapon.

“Anyone know what it’s doing? Was just in a call with the Council,” as one of the researchers informs him

“Congrats on meeting the Human Council sir and to answer your question it changed his weapon, from an assault rifle into what seems to be a compacted Particle Accelerator, but modified and seems to have a lot of wires attached to the creature. Our guess is the drawing power inside its suit? Since that's the only reasonable explanation on why the wires or cables are there,” as immediately after the creature fires it and a large white beam disintegrates everything in its path.

Everyone in the room is stunned, including the entire facility and all of the people who are watching the broadcast as the creature starts turning slowly and at the same time the lazer gets bigger.

“General! That lazer is going to possibly hit us, do you want me to activate the Energy Reflector Defense System,” as one of the Energy Space Trackers informs everyone.

“I’ll allow you to activate the shield, just to be safe,” as the group starts typing and a large transparent energy shield engulfs the entire facility.

“Hope that saves us from getting hit,” as a small amount of the lazer hits the shield, just in time and manages to sustain it.

“Sir, shield helped sir!” as the group happily says it and everyone sighs of relief.

“Alright, I’ll be heading now to do my personal request by the President. Don’t turn off that system, not from my request but from the President, also Colonel be in charge for now and keep maintain of the area” as the General leaves the room and the soldiers clear away and at the same time salutes.

“Alright everyone, I am guessing everyone here is still pumped up and still wants to watch the broadcast of what the creature will do, so I’ll let you everyone here watch, but you have to of course do your job at the same time.” as everyone thanks the Colonel and all of the soldiers and everyone else in the room sits back down properly, and starts doing their regular work while watching the creature blow up the final ship that was escaping.

{Back to the present time, and to Jed}

“So, how long until they will arrive Evo,” as I relax on a chair that Evo made for me, and a small bed for Sally to lay down on.

“They will reach us in about 3-4 minutes. You will see the ships 30 seconds before they officially arrive.” as Evo shows me how close they are getting.

“So what do you think they will do? Any suggestions or predictions?”

“Well sir, they seem to be not aggressive since they don’t have destructive weapons but still have some protection. Another is that only a few ships are being sent out, so they aren’t definitely not gonna try to kill us. I think they are gonna talk to us sir, and maybe interrogate you on what you are since they probably sensed, saw, and heard what you just did since they are broadcasting us.” as Evo shows all the most possible outcomes that they will do to me

“Hmm you are probably right on interrogating and not being aggressive, but that doesn’t mean they will be cautious and try to sedate me or well try to capture me. But if not and just want to identify me and see what my intentions are, I should probably come up with a backstory on why I am here,” as I get off my chair and stretch out.

“You could just tell your real name, and what creature you are, but make a fake backstory where you got kidnapped and became an experiment for a few years causing you to look like this, and you escaped. Of course this isn’t full proof as they will ask questions about what species kidnapped you and they will contact them, but if it were to come just say “Don’t remember their body features, they don’t show themselves physically when testing, or even interact with me at all,”. As Evo makes a perfect impression of my voice when saying that.

“Hmmm, I’ll take that advice but what about Sally? She isn't even remotely close to a creature that lives on any planets, probably.” as I call Sally over to me, and she swims toward me

“Well you could say in the introductions that she’s your pet and that she got brought along with you when getting kidnapped/abducted.”

“Sounds reasonable, how about you and the suit? They are probably gonna question that as you know I am wearing a tuxedo and I only have face mask to cover the entire head, which would make them a lot more suspicious and would result in more questions,”

“Well sir, if they were to ask about your suit having an AI don’t say anything related to me being a sentient AI that is capable of adapting and upgrading the suit in less than a few minutes. As for your appearance, I could just make a helmet around you and you can still keep your mask.” as Evo covers up my entire head.

“Alright, I think that’s all of the main questions that I think I have to deal with, and are those the ships? They look way different than the spaceships from the Qavvet and Beru ships, look like sci-fi ships you find in movies or in a book.” as the ships keep getting closer to me, until they are about 1-2 miles away from me and stop. Then suddenly a voice is being broadcast to me.

“Hey Evo, could you help me translate this faster? It usually takes my brain 5 minutes to adapt and learn a new language,” as the broadcaster keeps talking on and off

“Sure sir, but I am gonna communicate in written words.” as Evo prepares something.

“What do you mean by, ”written words,” Evo?” as I start understanding the new alphabet and words that I have to memorize.

“What I mean sir is something called subtitles. Humans like you, used to be, seem to like reading and listening at the same time for some strange reason. So I will be making a screen that will display words,” as a screen starts building itself in front of me. ”Alright it’s done sir, I’ll be doing some introductions and try to stall as much as possible until you can understand them sir, of course you will be hearing there talking to make it go faster,” as Evo starts displaying some symbols, possibly letters to the screen.

{30 seconds before Evo makes the screen, to be able to communicate with them}

“Mr. President, I don’t think this creature can understand us sir,” as General Waller tries to find ways to communicate with the creature.

“We can see and hear loud and clear of what you are trying to do, no pressure general, every human and some alien species are currently watching,” as the President happily says it.

“That doesn’t help at all, Mr. President!” as he starts getting a bit nervous until suddenly some materials start going out and create a screen.

“Sir, are you seeing this? What do you want me to do?” as it finishes building the object.

“Be a bit cautious and try to examine what it’s trying to do, remember all of us can see it so if you were to be attacked immediately, the guard ships will attack and defend you, and I will call in reinforcements to eliminate this potential threat,” as suddenly a sentence pops on the screen

“[Hello! I am Evo, an AI that helps my owner survive and with some tasks. Currently he requested me to make something to help with communicating with you Terrans, as it takes a few minutes to translate a new language properly]” as the sentence ends with a smile.

“Oh, no wonder I am guessing it can hear me?” as he said it a new sentence pops up.

“[You are correct! Now let's start with introductions before asking each other some questions. What’s your name Terran?]”

“My name is Wallen Wardens, but I am called General Wallen. I am of course a General of the Human United Confederation military, and I am tasked to ask you some questions,” as he tries to make sure he doesn’t leak any more information about himself and the military.

“[Interesting, well I am Evo a virtual assistant to help my owner to survive and fight creatures and to help communicate with other species. My owner is named Jed, I won’t be saying anymore about him as he will be explaining more about himself once the translator is fully completed]”

“Alright then, can I ask a few questions about you and your owner?” as he reads off from the screen that he needs to ask.

“[I can do General, but they will be short and may not be useful as my owner states to not talk too much until he’s the one talking, which he can understand what you are saying in about 1 minute,” as it shows a small timer stating when it will be fully complete.

“Alright then, I can wait for a minute but can I ask one question before I start with the real question?” as he flips some pages in his notebook, ”What are you, I mean all of you including you, Jed, and that creature that is currently swimming around him,”

“[In a “small” summary, I am an AI, Jed is a bipedal insane hairless creature, and the creature that is spinning around him is his cute companion!]” as another smiley face at the end.

“That did not help at all, but I'll write that down as that was important,” as he writes it in. But while doing so an alarm suddenly occurs and Jed is ready to speak.

“[Looks like the translation is done, I will now be going back now. My owner will be now answering your questions]” as a goodbye gesture at the end of the sentence, and the screen disappears back to where it came from.

“Not bad for the first half of your interaction,” as the president speaks up and claps.

“Thank you for the clapping Mr. President,” as he gets ready to talk with the actual main creature or entity.

“I will go back to watching and hearing your interrogation. Try not to embarrass yourself,” as the president goes away.

“Oh well here we go,” as he gets the microphone back out.

“Thank you for stalling and not giving much information about us Evo,” as I prepare to talk

“You are welcome sir, and I connected to the ship while distracting the General, and gained some information about this version of humans in this universe, but I'll tell you later as the General is about to speak to you,” as Evo goes quiet and the General speaks up.

“Hello there, can you understand me or even hear me?” as the General speaks

“Can hear and understand you loud and clear, my good sir!” as I give a thumbs up and sit back down on my chair. ”Evo told me that you already did a little introduction, and gave me my name and his name, but I’ll re-introduce myself and the other two properly. My name is Jed, I am 22 years old, I think? I am currently trying to go to Earth, and I am an explorer. The AI that just talked to you using words is Evo, he helps me with fighting, analyzing, and other helpful stuff in my journey. This cute creature is Sally, my pet, and is a salamander if you couldn’t tell,” as I finish my introduction and wait for an answer.

“Alright then, can I ask you a few questions? This is for safety and to ensure that you aren’t a threat, and to identify you,” as the General speaks up.

“Go ahead, I will try to answer them the best I can,” as I sit up properly.

“First question, what species are you and what planet are you from?”

“Ah shoot, should I tell him I am a human or make up a whole different species that doesn’t even exist when they fact check it!” as I try to choose which one I should do.

“Sir, just tell them you are human, remember what I said?”

“Alright, I’ll do that but I am blaming you if I get into a very messy political situation, we sure like to make things more complicated,” as I take a deep breath, and say the answer.

“Actually I am human, well was human,” as silence takes place for a couple of seconds.

“This is really concerning and awkward right now!,”

“Sorry about that, we were not expecting that answer. But what do you mean by “was” and also how can you prove that you are human?”

“Well first off let’s put a little backstory,” as I try to come up with a quick fake backstory and remember the fake story that Evo recommended me,”A few months ago, Sally and I got kidnapped by a group of aliens, they were tall but couldn’t differentiate what they look like as they were hiding their whole body and face. They used me as a testing dummy and did experiments on me, for new technology, medicine, and other new research they made, which made me more and more less human. Of course one of those experiments gave me the ability to escape and kill all of them, while escaping I found this suit, which had Evo in it, and my pet back. Don’t know what they did to her as she barely is recognisable to her original look, but it did help with survival. So then I destroyed the entire facility and went exploring and finding my way back to here, and along the way meet some other species while traveling here, not stating their name and what they are, and killed the Qavvet’s which reminded of them,” as I take a small break of the whole story that I made up, ”Hope they fall for that fake story as that is the most convincing that I could think of,”

“Oh that just made everyone and me feel a bit bad hearing that, but that answers my question on how you can prove you are human?” as the General writes down more notes.

“Oh, well I know we love fuzzy things and creatures. We also love entertainment and violence, and are also able to adapt and use advanced technology that we might to our advantage, which I considered doing, we also love danger, exploration, and challenges. Of course this would be alot easier if I just reveal my appearance, but I prefer not to, while our conversation is being broadcasted. Although I don’t mind, maybe later when there is no camera,” as I explain and prove myself.

“Alright then, I'll believe you for now until you show your appearance.” as the General is ready to say it. “Next question: how did you even defeat those Qavvet’s military fleet ships? Even we kind of struggle defeating them, and you seem to be able to change and create weapons that get made inside your suit and why is it a tuxedo?.” as the General analyzing the suit, sketching and writing it down.

“First on how I defeated them, is by using my suit of course. The suit allows it to make copies of weapons that it analyzes, and with the help of Evo it makes it easier to use and faster to create. Of course it has a limit on what it can create, as for why my suit looks like a tuxedo well to of course look good when going back to my planet,” as I proudly said it, ”Goddamn I am on a roll with my lies,”

“Alright final questions, Are you going to be a danger to us, even though you are technically human, or are you going to be helping us? If so, would you like to join the military and support us, and you could show us fighting and weapon experience?” as he said that his tone got more serious.

“Don’t worry I am not a danger to everyone here, actually just wanted to have a place to stay since I need a place to settle in, and I won’t be helping you guys with like fighting or wars, but will help with creating and doing science experiments, as I am technically an expert at it, and i’ll think about to join the military,” as I get off my chair, and making it go back inside the suit.

“That’s all of the questions Mr. Jed, and we could work something out. But first I'll be talking to our President first, and you are allowed to go inside the ship as you aren’t a threat to us and he gave you access,” as he pushes some buttons and a door opens on the side of the ship.

“Thank you for the offer, I've been traveling for so long I can finally take a break!” as I picked up Sally and flew straight into the ship.

As Jed went inside the ship it was pretty big and didn’t have a lot of rooms. But what lacked size made up for the furniture, decorations, and technology it had inside, there was a lot of levitating chairs and tables and a holographic screen that displayed some images and videos. As Jed admires them the General comes in and greets Jed.

“Hello there Mr. Jed, can I call you that?” as a very tall man wearing some sort of military suit uniform with some badges on the side, extends his arm out waiting for a handshake.

“Yes you can General Wallan,” as I extend my arm out and shake his hand.

“You are allowed to call me Wallan as you aren’t in the military and the President allowed me to take a break for a few hours before going back to my duties,” as he sits down on one of the levitating chairs, ”Have a sit Mr. Jed,” as he pulls a chair near him towards me.

“Thank you,” as I sit on it,” Are you still broadcasting or you know still connected to the President?” as I make myself comfortable.

“Oh you knew that it was being broadcasted?” as he was kind of surprised.

“It was fairly obvious I mean Evo was receiving a lot of signals when we were getting closer to the Solar system” as I chuckled a bit.

“Oh, that was to be expected but why do you ask if it’s still being broadcasted, which is off” as he takes out a device stating it’s off.

“Oh well I want to make a deal, and since you are the General you are probably high ranked and meet the President kind often,” as I get more focused

“Oh a deal? It's been awhile since I’ve been received or make one personally to me,” as he also gets more serious and also focused

“Well this is the request that I want to have, and the benefits I will get and the benefits you and your researchers will receive,” as I start explaining and talking about the offer.

“Hmm, it seems sir Jed is making a deal again. While he does that I am just gonna explore and try to find more information inside this ship or even try to gain access to the controls of the ship,” as Evo connects with the ship immediately and starts looking over the cameras and figuring out the layout of the ship.

“The security was much harder than usual to hack into, but was still easy to solve and go inside all of the data and controls of the ship. Now let’s see,” as Evo was about to configure the controls of the ship, an AI stops him.

“Who are you? Identify yourself!” as a robotic voice called Evo out and the controls immediately went lockdown mode and locked Evo out of the control area of the ship including most of the data that was looked over already.
