“Status report on the ship, any injuries of our crew?” as Eulalia runs through the halls, checking for any of her crew being injured by that impact

“The ship is stable, nothing too important was damaged that would allow the ship to be not usable and needed major repairs, and there are no big injuries or deaths happen when that object impacted us,” as one of the ERT speaks out of the comms

“Information about the object on where it landed, and its whereabouts?” as she looks for the object

“We have located the object. It seems that it has landed on the weapon storage facility, and it seems to not have done anything strange, when it landed. But what we do know is that it seems to be a metal container, maybe a stasis pod? It’s about 3 meters long and 2 meters wide, and there’s a creature inside it,” the speaker surprised when saying that

“Alright I will go to that area, and take a look at the “pod” and see if I can open and meet it, while you guys focus on finding the injured and try to fix the hole it made,” as Eulalia starts going to that location

“Hmm, Evo, could you tell me about the species that is on this ship that we just landed on?” as I talk inside my mind.

“I can do that. From what I can gather the name of there species are called Be-nu, they are wolf-like creatures that are bipedal, they are friendly and cooperative towards other species and would form alliances to them, but when another species attacks them or one of the species they have an alliance with they won’t hesitate to hurt them or even kill them. They can’t survive in an oxygen-rich atmosphere, which is anything over 21%, they have good eyesight, hearing, smell and reflexes. They seem to be able to survive almost the same amount of gravity as a human, but greater around 10.42m/s, so expect them to be a bit shorter when you see one of them. One interesting feature they have is that they have a retractable tail, which they can use like an extra arm, and they use it for greeting each other or use it as an extra limb to fight with or use, and they are kind of omnivores, they are build to eat meat but can also eat plants, and that’s all of the information I could tell you, it’s better if you see them in person sir,” as Evo finishes his explanation

“Alright that’s a lot of information that you just said in a minute, but good thing I understood all of it. Could you tell me about the weapons you just scanned and analyzed?” I am a bit curious

“Well, it’s just a bunch of range weapons, melee weapons, throwable weapons, armor and suits, and much more,” as Evo shows all of the items in front of me and a brief description

“Oh wow, could you manufacture them, like attach them to the suit?” This would make the suit more compatible with fighting, even though it already is.

“I can do that in a couple of minutes, anything else you want to ask?” as Evo starts to make the weapons and gadgets he scanned into himself.

“Could you scan the area if any of those Be-nu’s heading towards near me, and also could you make a mask around my face, cause why not, make it like my style,”

“Alright then I will do those requests,” as he makes a mask around my face that is similar color as my suit, that switches expression depending on my real expression underneath it.

“It seems that one of them is approaching us very fast, 57kmp or 35.82mph, and is doing it very steadily and quietly, she is going to reach us in about 20 seconds, so be prepared for this disguise to be gone, when she presses the button that opens the pod which just makes it just absorb it back to your suit, also try to learn to speak their language, as I am not helping even though I can translate it for you, but I don’t think that will be an issue” as Evo focuses back on what he was doing.

“Well good thing I can adapt and learn things much quicker thanks to my perk,” as I wait for a couple of seconds and interact with Sally for abit, and then hear footsteps

“That must be her? Well that’s the gender right Evo? Since that’s what you classified,”

‘Yup it’s a female,” as he completes 1/3 of the items already

“Welp time to hear her talking and learn the language ,” as I listen in

“Alright I got to the location and I see the object that broke through our ship,” as she enters the room and gets closer to the object

“What do you want us to do Captain? We have treated everyone in the ship, and nearly finished patching up the hole,” as another ERT member spoke up

“Focus on repairs, I’ll investigate this thing, I’ll be focusing on it now so don’t expect any orders from me for a while. If I don’t call or message in the next 1-2 hours, you are allowed to tell your team to investigate,”

“Yes Captain,” as she puts it away

“Now let’s see, it’s definitely a stasis pod as it seems built to survive and contain a creature inside it,” as she analyzes it

“Hmm, is there a button or a switch of some kind to open it?” as she looks around for a couple of seconds and finds a button

“This must be it, since there isn’t any other buttons or switches I could find,” as she double checks making sure it is

“Alright time to see what this pod has in it,” as she pushes it, the pod starts to unfold itself apart and at the same time, attaching parts of itself to another. This goes on for another couple of seconds and reveals a creature inside it.

‘Oh what the,this is not what I expected to find, it seems that it can walk on 2 legs, very tall and looks very similar to a species that I can’t remember. Seems to be wearing some sort of clothing that doesn’t seem to be fit for space travel, and what’s that near its head, looks like a creature, and I think it’s alive, and what’s with the mask, I’ll interrogate it,’ as she was about to ask some questions it started to analyze her

“Um, can I ask some questions about yourself?" as she gets ignored, "Alright I'll wait," being annoyed

Meanwhile with Jed

"Huh not what I expected from the description. A bit more terrifying than I imagined," as I look at her, "Evo wasn't lying when there species looks a wolf, except that with different color and with patterns?," as I then get felt pain on my arm by Evo, and gave a sign looking up.

“Could I give your attention over here?" as she waits

“Sorry about that, you reminded me of a creature back at my planet,” as I stop what I was doing and now speak to her properly

“I guess that’s fine, it’s not the first time that has happened, also how can you speak our language without a translator?” as she looks at me suspicious

“My suit can translate your words? 'shoot hope that doesn’t make it more suspicious’”,

“Fair enough, anyways who are you and what are you,” as her tone became more serious

“Well my name is Jed, and I prefer to keep secret of what I am for now,” as I try to not look dangerous

“Alright, now how was your pod going FTL and smashing through my ship's walls and interior like it was nothing?” as she starts walking around me while talking

“Sorry but I can’t answer that question,” as I try to sound truthful not ready to reveal it yet

“Ok then, now the main questions are out of the way, what are you wearing?” as she comes closer to me and inspects it

“Oh it’s my armor, well suit, it protects me from danger and also look good when meeting a new species or person,” as I stay still

“Alright then, weird design for a suit that protects you, but I won’t judge on the design,” as she finishes up inspecting

“Now of course since you kind of trespassed my ship, and also destroyed a part of it,” as she points at the big hole that I came from, ”You know you have to pay back right?”

“Oh, well I don't really have any currency that you guys use, but I can pay by actually fixing the damages?” as I have no idea what they use as currency and don’t have any since I am not from this universe

“I’ll accept that kind of payment. Also last couple of questions,” as she inspect the weapons to see if any were damaged

“Go ahead and tell,”

“What’s with the mask?” as she picks up a couple of weapons and check them

“Oh just something that I think I find cool and fitting with my outfit, and also prefer to hide my identity,” as I take a look at the hole on the wall

“Alright, another question I have is what’s that on your neck? I can tell it’s alive as it’s breathing right now,” as she finishes up checking

“Oh this is my pet, well companion, named Sally she’s an axolotl,” as I show Sally to her

“That’s a strange creature, haven’t seen anything like it and I have visited a couple of hundred planets, seems that there are always new things to discover,” as she takes a closer look at Sally

“Ya, seems like it, she is currently asleep” even though Sally doesn’t even remotely look like an axolotl anymore because of the environment she has put through, more like a snake, an eel, and a salamander combined together.

“Anyway’s that’s all my questions for now, since you allowed me to ask questions about you, I can answer questions you have as well,” as she stands still and waits

“Well my first question is, does your species have different colored fur since your fur is light blue with a mix of yellow and black? Sorry if that’s a bit personal,”

“Don’t worry it’s not personal, and to answer your question, yes we can have a whole load of different colors and even different patterns,” as she shows me some examples.

“Oh that’s interesting, my next question is what’s your name and what you do,”

“Well my name is Eulalia, and I am the Captain of this ship, I am a female Be-nu, and I come from the planet Luthea,” as she gives me the basic rundown of herself

“Alright then, speaking of planets and species, do you know a species named humans and a planet called Earth,” hoping that at least know them

“Hmmm, let me think… Oh I actually have, you mean the Terrans?” as she remembers what I meant

“What? The Terrans?” I didn’t know that’s what my species is called now

“Well that’s what they called themselves as it symbolizes their home planet’s name, which I respect them for,” as she gives a gesture similar to a salute

“Well do you know which direction it is or like how far it is?”

“Actually it’s not that far away from my home planet’s system and we were one of the first species to meet them actually, and it was pretty weird interaction with them. But overall they were not that bad to what the other species said” as she smiles abit.

“Oh that's interesting, wow they didn't do anything stupid? That's surprising” as I think about it.

“Anyway, to answer how far the Terran system is, it would take about 2-3 days of traveling using my ship, and its distance is about 50-100 light hours away from our location.” as she happily says it

“Wait, if it only takes that long to travel , that would mean your ship could have avoided me?”

“Well, for some weird reason your pod went from flying around below speed of light, to being able to go FTL in less than a couple of seconds, which cause us off guard and we couldn’t go fast enough to dodge, since it takes a couple of minutes for my ship to go very fast, and you were near us when that happened, so I decided to set up defenses around where your pod was going to strike us, and it kind of help,” as she reminds me of the hole I still need to fix.

“Yes I know I will fix it, now this isn’t really a question but a request,” as I tell Evo about the problem

“What is this request you want to offer?” as she seems to be more focused than usual

“Well one could I stay on your ship for the time being like for about 2 days, and two can I freely use and test your guys weapons and gadgets out?” I really hope I can experiment on them

“I am allowing you to stay on my ship for the time being, but that second request…” as she thinks about it

“Please? You can get someone to watch over me while I test and experiment” as I try to convince her to accept it

“Fine, but you are going to be limited to the testing area and not allowed to use most of our weapons,” as she takes her tail out, “So do you accept or decline?”

“I accept, heh I wasn't planning on using your weapons, I am gonna replicate them” as I shake her tail, feels like shaking a human arm.

“Now my team is probably starting to get worried, as we’ve been talking for nearly 1 hour and I said to them that If I don’t come back in 1-2 hours come to this location, we are currently talking at, so I am gonna message them that I am fine, and found the object”

“Sounds like a plan, but first could you turn around for a few seconds, like 30 seconds to 1 minute, as I am gonna fix the hole that my “pod” made,” as I get to finally get to chance to use my editing ability that I was given

“Um, sure don’t know how you are gonna do that, but I won’t question it,” as Eulalia turns around and get out an item that looks like a phone

“Alright Evo, help me fix this hole, using your help and my ability to edit it,” as I activate it revealing the tools and turning my vision abit blue

“Ok sir,” as he starts telling me what to do. I started to trace the hole using one of the editing tools. I then removed the broken bits of the interior of the ship, to make it easier for me to fill it in. Noticed a that there is a fill-in tool so I used it to fill in the hole, which made it look like there was no damage at all, just needed to edit it to make it the same material as the rest of the ship, but Evo got it covered. A couple of seconds later we finished fixing, or well editing, the hole in the wall, and now looks brand new.

“Thank you for the help Evo, you can go do whatever you were doing,” as I turn around to see that Eulalia still have not turned around and look

“Hey Eulalia, finished the hole in the wall,” as she quickly turned around and was surprised as she puts away that device

“Thank you Jed, and how did you do it so fast? Even my team of the best engineers and workers still takes a few minutes or even an hour to fix something in the ship, but you just did it in less than a minute,” as she inspects it, to see if it’s actually real

“Yup I did say I would rebuild the wall, but the other stuff I am not going to fix as they look complicated,” as I walk over to her, “Now could you tour me around your ship, and at the same time meet your crew, well most of them”

“Sure, since you are going to stay here on our ship for a little bit. Now let’s go as I technically need you to be checked up by the medical research team to make sure you aren’t deadly, since you decided to not tell me what species you are, but we can do that and have a tour since every guest has to have one,” as she starts walking towards the exit of this room, following up beside her.
