LBF Chapter 15 Father
Lily breathed in deeply once she made it inside, feeling the warmth of the sun thawing away the chill that had accumulated in her body.
She walked to the middle of the clearing where a circular engraving in the colors of green and white were. It looked like a formation of some sort. The white green lines were flowing with light of a higher grade than herself, signifying that it was made by a god.
She pushed out a drop of her unique blood, allowing it to fall into the pattern on the ground. The moment the blood drop made contact, a pillar of light was activated, originating from the pattern. It rose into the sky, surpassing the atmosphere and finally making its way deep into space, curving towards an unknown direction.
When the pillar had been unleashed, a minor matter had occurred at the Gods Alliance branch.(The word 'God's' is being changed to 'Gods'. It was an error)
The building vibrated and the pentagon had lit up in various colors.
(God level spatial ripples detected.) An automated voice had been heard. But the demigods in the five colored areas didn't pay any attention as they knew what had causes it.
A few seconds passed after the activation of the light beam before a figure materialised within the bounds of the array on the ground. But the light bean didn't recede, on the contrary, it strengthened.
The figure in the array was the same height as Lily. Only his gender was different and he had a warm smile on his face. The smile alone caused the vegetation in this place to swish as if happy with him.
He had fair skin, a well proportioned manly face, beardless chin and white eye lashes and brows. His eyes were heterochromatic, with the right one having a white pupil and the left with a green one. His hair was also of two colors, separating in the middle of his forehead. The right side the same color as the right pupil, and the left strands the same color as the left.

He was wearing a white shirt with green pants at the bottom. It wasn't buttoned at the neck giving a leisurely feeling to him. A white cape, pinned to the front shoulder blades spread behind his back, glowing, as if woven from pure white light.
In his right hand, a long beam of pure white was held, pointing into the sky. On his left side, a miniature emerald green tree was floating there, giving off a rich life force.
"How very rare it is for you to make contact with me on your own Lily." Warm words left his mouth the moment he spoke.
"Dad, is this a projection, not your real body?" She asked.
"Yes. Unfortunately, I am busy here at the Andromeda front. If I was there, I would have given you a hug." A frown appeared on his face. He spoke so warmly that Lily blushed.
Her father was always like that, giving her too much of his love after his wife, her mother died.
"I have divorced Larry." She said after a pause.
"...I knew you weren't going to last. Lily, I am very sorry for making you marry someone you didn't like." He apologised.
"I was also at fault. Still naive and young, jumping into the marriage just because he had brighter prospects." She sighed.
"Father, I have a request. Could you...find me three wood elemental strings?" She asked. She get embarrassed at the request.
"Did...did I hear wrong? Isn't that the elemental string you need to become a goddess? Hahahahaha...have you finally decided to listen to my advice and diligently cultivate?" The man talked a lot in his joy.
"No! I just thought things through." She dissuaded.
"No, you must have finally listened to my advice." He countered.

"Father! Do you always have to praise yourself? I-THOUGHT-THROUGH-THIS-ALL-ON-MY-OWN." She spoke word for word, emphasizing them.
"Okay! okay!" He raised his hands in defeat, a bitter smile on his lips. He had left the white staff to float in space just like the miniature tree.
"I will get them for you. Is...that boy still around?" He asked hesitantly, paying attention to his daughter's expression.
"He's here, now, on this very planet. He has finally managed to hunt down ten demigods, getting the lifetime pass to Pantheon city." She answered, causing a minor shock to ripple through the eyes of the projection.
"He's...an admirable man." He commented.
"Yeah! The man I chose!" Her eyes lit up with glee.
"So, he's heading to Pantheon, huh. That city isn't simple. There are many unpleasant things happening there." The man continued.
"Do you want me to play matchmaker?" He asked, switching back to lightheartedness.
"No! No no no no! Don't ever do that! Actually you shouldn't have even let that leave your lips!" She vehemently denied.
"Okay. But whatever you choose to do, do know that I back you 100%. The strings are going to appear when my image fades." He said.
"Dad, I love you." She said quietly, causing a smile to appear on the face of the projection before it vanished. The light beam was also extinguished. In the center of the array, just like her father had said, three emerald green strings a meter long appeared.
'I am going to become a goddess. After that I am going to find you!' A determined light appeared within her eyes.
She picked up the strings then sat down cross legged on the spot and drew one into her body. The merging was about to start.

Three days later, on the edges, outside the solar system, space rippled before a hole was torn open.
Purple light lit up from the depths of the hole before something appeared. It was massive, its size rivalling that of Earth itself.
Damien, who had long appeared in this area beheld the monstrosity that had appeared from the warp tunnel. He appeared calm but his eyes betrayed him. They were flickering with wonder and amazement. He had seen one of this vessels plenty of times in his long life, but every time, he was still amazed by it.
'I hope she doesn't appear. I hope she doesn't appear. I hope...' Like a mantra, that sentence reverberated in his mind after the amazement. He spread his senses and even occasionally looked behind himself, towards the solar system, as if searching for something.

8 61A War Beyond Kings
Author: I made som mistakes early in the story that I will have to correct, but it will take some time. I have not abandoned this story, but I will be working on my computer and will not be active on royal road. "The elves start to leave their secure forest of Silvanwood for the first time in over two thousand years. Wizards are murdered in their own homes one by one to the dismay of the Jeidan Order of mages. The ancient ruins in Agnellia seem to have awoken after thousands of years of abandon. The flames of war are brewing, and the continent of Maëgor is about to witness a war like never seen before." Author’s note: This is a serious story, loosely inspired from many great works, which you will maybe be able to identify on your own. It is entirely original though. I’ll be working on this for hours every day, but that doesn’t necessarily means that there’ll be daily chapters. I don't own the rights to the cover image, and will immediatly take it down if the author requires so. Every chapter will be at least 2000 words. And congratulations to anyone who guesses on which language the chapter titles are written in.
