LBF Chapter 7 Relocation, History
A few days passed. The lower stringed individuals in the clan were just too many!
Nina still maintained her position on the precipice whether it was day or night, raining or sunny, cloudy or windy. She didn't so much as take a step, or change her posture. Her gaze had mostly been skywards, passing through the planet's atmosphere and viewing the wonders of space within the area covered by her domain. Her consciousness existed at every place her domain covered, like she was personally there.
She had even created clones from her flames at a certain point. But there were still places her domain couldn't reach, even with her strength. One of them was the sun's core.
The three mother ships up in space were shaped like pyramids. Their colors varied, and they could only be constructed in Pantheon city. It wasn't a privilege, but a testament to the immense wealth needed. They had powerful warp drives, capable of compressing a spatial route from the edge of the galaxy to its center!
Right now, the last batch of clansmen were being taken up. After they were inside, the three large ships stayed in space, waiting for the main person to board. No one came to rush her, as powerhouses at her level had their pride. They might kill you for slighting them. Even a demigod was like a chicken in front of authentic gods.
Nina felt the excitement of her clansmen through her domain. Even the ships didn't posses the technology to shield themselves from her domain, let alone detecting it.
Settling in Pantheon city was the dream of multiple clans, but only a few managed to get that lucky.
Her body took to the sky after a moment, like a balloon...weightless. Gravity was simply a joke in the presence of her power!

The precipice became smaller in her eyes as her body increased its height and speed. She accelerated until she broke through the atmosphere, appearing in space right outside the planet.
A few months later, there would be someone who would come to settle here. The clan had sold off the planet in advance. It had been through an auction, and they had only accepted treasures which could be taken with them.
She traversed space as if stepping on even ground, appearing above the tip of the middle space ship.
Vibrations were felt through her feet as the engines below the craft powered up, scattering blue sparks in the void.
"There is no need to waste energy." Her voice speed into the ears of the captains.
"I will create the spatial tunnel." She continued. Warping space and creating a tunnel through it required a lot of energy. Only demigods and above could create such feats with their strength. The others had to rely on space ships, which consumed a lot of elemental crystals.
'The first time I create a spatial tunnel!' Nina's heart sped up and she licked her pale golden lips in excitement. She was like a child who had just gotten their hands on a new toy.
Her domain was composed of golden flames the size of particles floating around. They appeared invisible to the naked eye. Nothing could block their infiltration except for the core of a sun.
She pointed at the front with her hands and many golden flames started appearing. At first, they were the size of fireflies, growing to the level of a blaze in the form of a whirlpool.
The golden flame whirlpool rotated in place causing a distortion in the void. Nina closed her eyes as she connected with the flames to try and obtain the spatial coordinates she needed.

The golden whirlpool was 50,000km in diameter, and its light alone made it appear like a second sun. If someone had been on the surface of the planet, they would have been shocked!
Her eyes abruptly opened and the golden color in the center of the whirlpool became even deeper. If it wasn't because she was new at this, the time taken in creating the tunnel would have been even shorter.
'Sagittarius A*! That black hole's gravitational force even managed to distort the space!' She was amazed by the power of that supermassive black hole at the galaxy's center.
Even a demigod can't create a warp tunnel leading to the center of the galaxy. That's why these three space ships were so valuable.
"We can go now." She once gain transmitted her voice. The three behemoths set off and sank into the golden whirlpool. Splashes were even created as if it was truly liquid. They sank into the whirlpool and vanished.
The whirlpool also shrunk and followed, like water being drained out.
-----
Year 5128.
It had been years since the people of planet Earth had first stepped into the wide universe. They had made contact with the other races of the galaxy and developed themselves, becoming a prosperous civilisation.
The life expectancy had risen to 500 years and warp drive had long since been invented. Though, it had a limit of 1 light year per jump.
The day had been like any other before something changed! It became one for the history books, as something world changing had happened.
A ripple travelling at a speed far surpassing even the expansion of spacetime, made contact...no passed through the entire galaxy. No sensor in the galaxy even managed to detect it at all!
All hell broke lose inside the bodies countless lifeforms. They wailed as they felt something foreign appearing in their bodies. Some felt scorching, others, cold, something tearing them apart, something bright, or darkness blinding their entire senses.
That's what happened at first, then, one by one, some of the lifeforms either spontaneously combusted, disintegrated into light particles, turned into water, vegetation, rocks, gusts of wind or absorbed into the shadows.
Just like that, the population of the galaxy shrunk by over three quarters! That is what happened to the people who failed to get acclimated to the weird something that had appeared inside their bodies without warning. They became nightmares for those who managed to survive. After all, imagine having the person next to you being assimilated into a shadow, his screams being left behind in the form of echoes!
Some even created disasters, like those who spontaneously combusted. They screamed and spread flames to any flammable material in the vicinity. The flames couldn't be extinguished by normal means, the only solution being to let them to burn out by themselves!
Half died to the incompatibility with the foreign substance, while the quarter died to the disasters caused by the those half.
Losses became inestimable! Space ships burned up in the void, or had trees sprouting from inside of them.
TRIVIA
At five elemental strings, a life form has already started to comprehend their divinity, though, its no even in the nascent form. Most of those at this level are patriarchs of clans and leaders of organisations. They mostly manage such powers on behalf of the demigods and gods.

Iron and Wood - A Tale Of Empire and Clans
For centuries, the Midlands had been split into fragments. A once glorious, united Empire has become a shadow of its former self. Unity has not returned, and not for the lack of trying. The greatest of these successor states were the Li Dynasty to the south, the rulers of old, and the Emerald Empire to the North, with its vibrant vitality. Unity is the end goal, and both will sacrifice anything to attain this elusive dream. For unity would surely solve the conflict that had long plagued this once prosperous continent. The Ironwood Clan was a prime player. Some would consider them the ones holding the reigns to the horse named 'Unification'. Iron and wood were the backbones of civilization; similarly, the Ironwoods were the backbones of the Northern Empire, and by extension, the people of the Midlands. Their methods, as questionable as they might be, had strengthened the North. Yet, were they enough? In the midst of it all, a young Ironwood who had lost his path must once again find his way. For the sake of his own wellbeing; for the sake of his clan; and for the sake of the Empire and its subjects. However, is he willing to sacrifice for the good of all? Is he willing to condemn some for the sake of others? Is he willing to make the right, albeit harsh, decisions? Only the heavens would know. Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, events and incidents are the products of the author’s imagination. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. Additionally, any views and beliefs expressed by the characters are not the author's own. The story is also not an endorsement of any actions taken within. The 'profanity' and 'sexual content' warning tags are there to be safe (and to leave room for potential future changes), but for now these two things are not inside this novel. This is my take on 'cultivation', though it might be somewhat disconnected from the general idea of the genre. Release schedule: Two chapters a week. The cover was created using wombo art. While I believe that creations using the app are in the public domain, if that is not the case, I will take it down.
