《Me A Magical Girl, Got Reborn in an Otome World As A Magical Girl》Prologue

Dear Steven
We are good enough friends to not ask each other the formalities. Let me get straight to point. Well, not straight to point, this is so exciting for me, I want to explain it in a way that leaves no regrets.
Magic Evolves
Is a basic law. The first magic created by humans was to heat their hands. It was developed by generation and generation of trial and error. Each time, a parent passes a near perfect magic to their child. It must had taken thousands if years for humanity to learn fireball. Now, it is a child's play. Literally. My son will burn down my house at this rate.
Hence, the concept of ancient magic ending world is just a woman's tale, except, of course, there have been some exceptions. Three to be exact. If you don't remember them, then go to nursery and start all over again, you dumbwarp.
That is what was taught to me by my dad when I was eight. That was what was taught to us in schools. Heck, we even had to do projects on this thing.
In front of me was a stick, metal. It's been hours since I have been trying. No acid, no fire, no sword has been able to break this 10 peniole heavy object. No, by acid I don't mean Liquimine Juice. I am not stupid. I mean real acid, the floor melting stuff.
But what was even more worryingly interesting for me was its tip. The tip had a complete black heart shaped formeole based gem.
Now, Steven. I am not a researcher. I am simply a archeologist, and that is not grave robbing, let me remind you, stop telling Joseph lies. Anyways, I do not know of all the gizmo circuits and all. But I do know that gem.
For once, those damned historians of past have actually depicted something accurately.

While you may doubt that this discovery would even make it to national newspaper, let me tell you, I think the government would run across the world to interview about this.
You see, Steven. I found some evidence. I was just going through the Emperor's Rest. And I noticed something. Something that was probably there, I don't know. I don't know how we missed it.
Steven, I know this doesn't mean gnorsel's shit to you. You probably even slept during parties when I explained all this. But just listen to me as a friend.
The Second Demon King was one, A Maagical Girl!
D4C too, maybe. I didn't found anything about him. His corpse is still strange as ever. But if he was indeed the second's deciple, he should be one too!
No, being a Maagical Girl has nothing to do with gender. We have had this conversation many times. Yes yes, the people of past were stupid, blah blah blah, they gave stupid names, blah blah blah. Don't worry, now that I shall become rich and famous, I shall change the name. Probably to MegaHenry, or something.
They really used to exist! The legends were Dwardingly true!
I am going to report this. The number of exceptions just became 5.
Yours,
Henriscle
Your much more successful friend.

8 2530Epilogue
Revised version now available! Amazon paperback, ebook, audiobook, Kobo, B&N, Google In the war-torn land of Cyraveil, four heroes strove to overthrow an empire. By cold steel and elemental sorcery, they brought peace to a warring land on the brink of destruction. As the flames died, the realm needed strong leadership, and who better than the champions who had saved the kingdom? But when the people sought out their saviors... they vanished. Matt, Blake, Jen, and Carl: the four mysterious companions, who together had deposed an insane ruler and saved countless lives, were gone—spirited back in a whirlwind of magic to a sleepy suburb in Mellbridge, Oregon, never to return. The friends found themselves home in the real world, exactly as they'd been the night they were taken, as if no time had passed... except only three came back. Hi there! This was my entry for National Novel Writing Month, because why only write one series at a time? The more the merrier! (meanwhile, my keyboard bursts into flames...) I'm also the writer of The Last Science, an ongoing low-fantasy/speculative sci-fi series. If you're familiar with that, you know what to expect here: lots of character-focused drama and dialogue, not a whole lot of traditional action. However, I'm writing a bit differently than usual here, and in a very different structure, so there should be some surprises for returning readers. I hope you enjoy it! [Discord] — for those of you who want to hang out and chat. Cover art (fullsize): Path of Revelation, by taenaron (Tobias Roetsch), modified by Etzoli. Normally I like to do my own cover art from scratch, but I was in a rush for the contest. Might be replaced down the line if I get time. 8 146Orc Lord
A young woman just starting out in life is killed tragically in a car accident. However, she soon regains consciousness as a baby in a fantasy world. But... she's an Orc?! It would be good if she could just enjoy her new life quietly, but she seems destined for war and carnage. How will she fare as a monster in a fantasy world? ________________ This story will have a total of three arcs: Arc 1, The Birth of Babylon: 571 pages (complete) Arc 2, The Baphomet War: 420 pages (complete) Arc 3, The Mad Queen of Carnage: (in progress) ________________ Ultimately, I'm writing this for enjoyment. If you enjoy it too, fantastic! Gore: Extremely infrequent, but moderately intense. Profanity: There are a few swear words here and there, as well as some more creative insults. Traumatizing Content: While I'm at it, there are some questionable morals displayed (mostly after chapter 77). So far we can check off slavery, brainwashing, war, and genocide. This story starts off very Light Novel-ish because I was reading a lot of them at the time. The writing style gradually matures as it goes. Sorry, but I don't have the stamina to go back and fix everything, even if I know it gets pretty roughshod at times. New readers, please keep in mind, I make use of "unreliable narrators" at times. My story accepts donations, but it is free to read and I've only uploaded it here. Lastly, Orc Lord is a member of the WriTEr's Pledge, which means I have sworn to see it through to a satisfying ending. One of my long breaks triggered a dishonor, but I'll redeem it someday when it's actually finished. I'm the ultimate necromancer author. ;P

8 210Son of the Sigil
When the sigil-keeper, known to his friends as Wren, finds himself in possession of ancient, dangerous magic, he and his companions are drawn into a web of intrigue and violence as every faction on the face of Selenia vies for control of the knowledge contained within his head. But with great power, great corruption follows... "Son of the Sigil" is a fantasy-adventure novel about bad men doing bad things and hopefully getting away with it. Magic, blood, war, corruption, slavery, suicide and a whole lot more. If you like good anti-heroes, you'll probably like this. No more spoilers. It's going to be a long, brutal adventure for these lads. This is the first story I've ever written, and I really hope you enjoy it. It is still early days but I feel good about it so far. I am looking for criticism in order to improve, not to be coddled, so please, don't go easy on me. The main thing is that you enjoy my work, so if you do, please consider supporting me in any capacity, even a like, and definitely follow me on Twitter, so that I can continue to grow as a writer. And thank you so much! https://twitter.com/3nglish1nfidel
