Chapter 25 : heaven slayer

" decades years ago , there were a man and a beast that visited our forest. It was at least hundreds or more years ago. At first no one in the forest knew what was going on ?

What they were doing no one had clue about it ?

The man and the beasts visited often and nobody were able to had any clue about it.

But one day suddenly there were many people that came carrying weapons and artifacts for no reason.

The inhabitants of the forest were scared because of the brutal slaughter that they did to our kind "

" brutal slaughter ? But why did they did it ?" Nanashi asked while trying to recover his injuries and lost spiritual qi in his body.

The night wolf shook his head "even we didn't knew why ? But only when the man and the beast that often visited our forest arrived , did we survive "

"Who were those two ?" Nanashi asked.

" at first even we didn't knew but their prowess was very terrifying. They were at least ancient ones., "

"Ancient ones ? " Nanashi was surprised. Ancient one are only told to those who had managed to live from the ancient times.

"Yes , ancient one . Their power were at least a semi god . But they were injured which leaded their power to decrease to limit crossing." The night wolf stopped before remembering the horror that they felt when those humans slaughter his kinds.

" they were saying that only heaven slayer would be able to wield the supreme power , power of heaven and earth. And so on "

"Heaven slayer ? " Nanashi was curious and confuse. Who is this heaven slayer ? But when he repeated the name , his mind started to hurt before going back to normal.

"What the f*ck !!"

The night wolf continued " they talked about this heaven slayer as if he was some sort of heaven itself. Both party made this heaven slayer seem to be above everyone and no one could rival against him. "

" and slowly they began to talk about some kind of heaven and earth flame called yin yang flame. "

" this flame is hidden in the deep forest. There is a secret grotto that is hidden very secretly . It is filled with danger and no one wants to enter there. "

" there is the beast that gaurds the grotto. The beast is no other than the beast that used to visit our forest."

" but this beast is already dead , despite this , this beast has possessed the body of yang tiger. "

" nobody knows where this tiger was bought from , but according to the recent information from sky shuttle bird , this beast is already an innate master and it must at least be late stage. "

" it has only been less than few years since this beast has taken possession of this beast but it's cultivation speed is very terrifying "

" with the strength of yang beast and beast intent of semi god beast , he is very dangerous . "

" and more than that , those two , the man and beast were only a low rank soldiers working under that terrifying person they referred as heaven slayer."

" this beast is the king of our forest."

Nanashi had already recovered 3 percent of his power . He stood up and looked at those night wolves. He said in confusion " low rank soldiers ? Heaven and earth flame called yin yang flame ? Heaven slayer ? A semi god beast that is possessing the body of yang tiger ?"

Yang tiger was just like it's name. It's whole body is born from yang along with its soul. It is nearly strong as those sacred beast called white tiger.

But it is also a rare beast in the world so how can they find the body of yang tiger ? Who were they ?

Were they from some kind of high rank powerhouse from ancient time ? Or were they some kind of expert ?

Nanashi couldn't help but feel headache from thinking about it.

But what was the problem here was , this heaven slayer . He felt very close to this name as if … very strange , he felt close like a family.

In his entire life , only this name has made him feel that he has family too. He isn't alone but someone is by his side.

He shook his head and asked " tell me where is this furnace forest and about this grotto ?"

The night wolf sighed and didn't know about this things. He said " we don't know about this grotto that much but one thing for sure , it has hidden treasure which allows the yin and yang energies to work together."

" yin and yang energy to work together . " nanashi was now more interested in this grotto. He asked " where is this grotto located ?"

All the night wolves turned their head to look at the side , nanashi also turned his head to look at side. He said " in the middle of the forest "with a smile , he said " turn into ashes "

"Zzz" the assailant flame that was floating in the middle of the huge ring started to ignite more powerfully. Like a waterfall , the flame started to fall down and burn those night wolves .

"Despicable human , how can you do this to us ?" One night wolf roared in anger.

" nasty human , how can you be so dirty ? "

"Ah.."

Howl~

Those night wolves tried to break the prison of [ firmament flame ] but couldn't do it.

Slowly slowly , those night wolves were getting killed .

" human , you will meet a tragic death for doing this to us "

Namashi smiled at his words as he said calmly " sorry , but I have no relation with this so called karmic tie. So I wouldn't meet a tragic death. Haha "

Those night wolves were burnt to death but nanashi didn't kill one of those early stage rank 3 night wolf. The night wolf was in the verge of death while it had no energy to fight back.

Walking till he reached near that night wolf , nanashi sat down with his bumps touching the ground. He looked at the pitiful night wolf , nanashi didn't cared about it and checked his system notification.

What does he wants ?

[ Assailant flame ] was powerful . It can even burn down a rank 3 night wolf when it is injured and had no energy left. It means , it will be great help to nanashi while fighting against enemies in group.

But as for [ assailant fragrant ] he hasn't even tried it for once. So he doesn't knows what it would do ?

But anyway , he decided to [ upgrade ] [ assailant fragrant ] because he needs them to reach level 3 in order for him to advance to true warrior and so on.

His right Fist started to glow in a golden light . While laws started to appear around his right fist making it look like some kind of scripture belonging to gods and immortals.

His whole body was strengthen while feeling very warmth.

His right arm was starting to get covered in countless golden law that had power of immemorial times.

Like a deity , his aura was divine , like a saint his aura became holy.

Feeling the new change , he was happy.

After the light dissapeared he saw that his right hand was now emitting the power of dao. Clenching his fist tightly , he felt immeasurable strength and power .

It felt like he could crush the gods and immortals if he were to punch them now.

With a " ding "

Nanashi thought for awhile and asked while ignoring pitiful night wolf " system , can you tell me about this heaven slayer ? "

Nanashi was very curious about this heaven slayer. Who the f*ck dares to call himself a heaven slayer while there is the heaven assailant here ?

Nanashi's eyes started to turn black while his eyeballs were turning into red. He didn't noticed the change so he didn't care. His long black hairs were now jet-black. His muscles were tough and sturdy with his height being 5.8 feet tall.

His arms were like root , long and strong.

His veins on the body was like roots taking shape.

"Good , it will do " nanashi used the special ability of night wolf to turn himself into dark mist.

"Whoosh" turning into dark mist , he moved toward his groups.

"It's been too late , do you think something had happened to our senior brother ? " one of the disciple asked .

" how should I know ? " one anxious disciple replied while feeling angry.

The disciples were all worried while chen mei was recovering her spiritual energies while meditating. She was sitting in lotus position and had shut her eyes.

Around her , spiritual qi were surrounding her like how a moonlight would surround the moon. Suddenly she felt change in nature making her feel anxious. She opened her eyes and picked her sword.

There were few people that were coming at their side. One girl with few mens.

"Bad guy , I wouldn't talk to you " the girl said in an innocent voice. " haha… little girl , be careful or else the wolves in the forest may take you as their guest " the man who had a red hair stand upside teased her.

Suddenly this group of people saw group of another people.

Both side were facing each other. In the mid night , the two group met each other , under the same sky sharing the same moonlight. A cold breeze blew by their side and a silence covered the atmosphere.
