Chapter 24 : [ assailant art : sword retribution ]

Chasing those mist of darkness while clashing their attacks with each others ,they echoed hymns of clanking and slamming their offences.

Flying in the sky while chasing those yin beasts, nanashi was smiling all along.

"Howl~"

"Nasty human , why the heck are you chasing us ? Are you seeking for death ?" A night beasts raged angrily. It had a high intellect than those other beasts because it was a grade 3 early stage ( early stage master ) nigh wolf.

Nanashi wasn't surprised when it decided to talk. He happily smiled " hehe.… because I am bullying you. What will you do ? Bite ?haha "

Suddenly all those night wolves turned back and looked at him. They all carried ferocious eyes , their dark eyes with only red eyeballs making them look like a perfect terror for their enemies.

Glaring each others , both side had no intention of letting other party go.

All those wolves growled while smirking .

Five of those night wovles with grade 3 cultivation came forward like a leader. All were strong looking and same Size as a horse.

One night wolf said "human ,you court death. So don't blame us " nanashi waved his fan very calmly even though he had injuries all over his body. He said " court death ? What do you know ? In my whole life , I had always handshakes with death , embrace it , kissed it , walk side by side in every toe. What court death ? You may not know ,but death is my girlfriend . Haha…"

"…." Those night wolves watched him as if they were watching the world most biggest fool.

" human , better leave now or else you may not get the chance of leaving " one grade 3 wolf warned.

" oh ! I see.. let's not care about it for now. I wanted to ask , why , a yin beasts , like you are here ? This place is filled with full of yang energies . But a yin beasts like you have managed to live here ? What a surprise ?".nanashi couldn't belive it.

A yin beasts living in the place where there was pure yang everywhere. Wasn't this just a joke ?

But instead of replying , one night beast angrily roared "it's none of your business. We have given you a chance but you didn't took it. Refusing good will only to accept death. So die "

Before they could even attack ,nanashi had secretly [ forged ] his new sword technique called [ sword palace art ] with other elemental arts. Which leaded a new art to be born. It was called [ assailant art : sword retribution ].

Thousands of swords made from different types of elements floated around nanashi as if he was the grand master of every single swords.

"Boom" like stars has collapsed and refined into something new , behind him floated palaces with the power of sword intent. Five sword intent were rotating around his back of his head. While more than thirty swords were rotating round his back , creating the illusion of a grand sword formation.

Illusory starts seem to be shinning around the world , filling light in darkness.

Warmth and peaceful , that's what everyone could feel.

Sea of swords ,all around the area , covering everyone as if they were ready to slay at anytime.

Those night wolves didn't felt fear from yin elements but such as lighting , fire , and other yang elements , they were fearful.

Like a deity of sword , nanashi smiled while being surrounded by sea of swords. Every swords were like chains , moving in a perfect lines as if they were shackles that can't be destroyed.

"Bastard human ? What is this all about ?' One night wolf asked. He was also scared but didn't mean that he couldn't fight back.

Nanashi smiled while giving the vibe of a demon that was gonna harvest life. He snapped his fan and pointed it toward those night wolves. Closing his eyes , he made it seem as if he was sleeping and having a beautiful dream.

After a while he opened his eyes and said in a gentle manner " have a peaceful dream "

"Swoosh" with that those all swords that were floating in the air started to attack those yin beasts.

Avoiding those attacks , every single yin beasts were trying their best to survive.

Glaring at nanashi angrily , every single yin beasts were showing their hatred and resentment.

Suddenly those yin beasts turned into mist of darkness and tried fleeing. But the sword of flame and sword of lighting along with sword of yang energy burned down that night wolf.

Watching the result nanashi was satisfied. But he was also getting him into a trouble , this was a peak grade earth rank skill. It means he needs at least the same level of spiritual qi in his dantians and meridians as those origin warriors.

It is already good that he can last this long while using earth rank skill. That's why he doesn't use high rank skills too much.

His energies were getting drained so he forced himself . Fast and faster , killing those near , weak and strong as fast as he can.

"Damn human !!" One night wolf couldn't tolerate it so he charged at nanashi with all he got.

"Zzzz" creating a lighting current all over its body , the night wolf speed exceeded his limit. Before nanashi could react , he was already send flying. His swords tried to block the attack but those swords were devastated by the rampage attack by night wolf.

This was the innate skill of night wolves. It was called [ night god ]. By borrowing the power of night , they could exceed their limits. But after that they would be like a dried tree without any energies in their bodies.

"Boom" getting crashed on the ground , the whole area were crumbled. There were thousands of peddles that were shattered ground.

"Cough" coughing mouthful of bloods , nanashi was surprised . He tried getting on his feet but just as he tried , Infront of him , a waves of night wolves appeared while exceeding their limits.

"Baam" giving a lethal slam on nanashi's chest , those night wolves sent nanashi more deep inside the ground. A huge pit was created by the shockwaves from those attack that night wolves did.

Nanashi could feel that his ribs getting nearly broken. It was good that he had so called [ diamond bone ] in his body or else , he may had died.

What a tragic death would it be.

An assailant dying in the hand of bunch of forest dogs .

Bloods were bleeding from his mouth while his back had a hole on his beautiful robe.

Scratches could be seen on his back while bloods were there too. Gripping his fists tightly ,his veins on his arms were starting to show themselves.

"Swoosh" like a flash of light , one night wolf appeared before nanashi , it tried to slam it's strong head on nanashi's chest and was ready to kill nanashi.

But just at that moment , nanashi smiled and threw a strong lethal fist on that pitiful night wolf.

A huge amount of yin qi gathered around nanashi's right fist as he gripped the fist. When he threw the right fist on night wolf's head , a huge "baam" was echoed in the every corner of the forest which leaded the sleeping livings in the forest to wake up in terror.

Because they were inside a huge pit , the earth was shaken by the shockwaves. The night wolf was send flying away , when it crashed on the wall , it made a huge hole on it , making an artifical hole inside a pit like a tunnel.

The night wolf died miserably and left it's spiritual qi and yin qi for nanashi.

But it didn't stopped there. In the sky , those night wolves were watching nanashi with their blood thirsty eyes.

"Damn human !! Either you , either us !! " with that they all , every single of those night wolves gathered immense level of yin qi around them . Layers of those yin qi were covering their bodies and creating the illusion of a huge grim reaper in the sky.

It felt like nanashi would really die if he were to clash his fists with them right now.

" insolent human , pay for your sin " everyone that could talk , said in union.

Nanashi felt intense pressure from the gathering of yin qi. He didn't knew what he should do , just at that moment , he could only think was one thing.

Burning his assailant flame that was Level 3 on his right palm , while burning his spiritual qi on his left palm. He decided to try it.

" [ firmament flame ] " with that , nanashi whole body was getting powered up. But he didn't dare to merge his yin qi with his two different flames. Instead a dark flame appeared behind his firmament flame.

But what he realised shockd him. He could actually fuse the yin energy and his firmament flame together.

How could he forget ? His firmament flame is actually made of his spiritual qi which is also his spiritual power and not real flame.

Fusing yin energy and his firmament flame together , a dark flame that could chill your bones was ignited.

Throwing his [ assailant flame ] and [ firmament flame ] toward the coming sea of yin qi from the sky , nanashi twisted his right hand and cried " ultimate asunder"

With that a his [ firmament flame ] started to crisp like a fire and it's spark.

Clenching his right fist , nanashi said "space devouring halo "

The firmament flame that was already getting more and more powerful started to take a shape. It turned into a huge ring as a halo. Covering the sky around those night wolves , it sealed the space. With that , from every surface of the huge ring of [ firmament flame ], layers of spiritual yin energies started to fall down on the world making it seem like it was a huge prison .

The yin energies from those yin beasts only manage to powerf up the [ firmament flame ].

While the assailant flame floated in the middle of the ring.

Watching this every single night wolves were confuse and also scared.

" dirty human , what is this ?" One night wolf asked while feeling his shaking heart.

" your gate of hell " nanashi laughed while feeling his legs trembling because he didn't had any energies to stand .

"Foolish human , do you think we will be killed with this silly thing ? " with that , everyone started to damage and break the [ space devouring halo ] with their yin qi but alas this was futile effort .

They were in the state of funk ( depressed ).

Suddenly one night wolf said in his weak voice " human , if you let us go than I may tell you a secret about this forest "

Hearing this , nanashi's left brow raised as if he was saying " go on "

Watching that nanashi was interested , the night wolf sighed in relief. He continued "if you let us go than I will tell you why a yin beasts like us can survive in this forest ? will you accept the deal ?"

Nanashi nodded a little but he thought. What a fool , after you tell me the secret , I will burn all of you alive so I can grow my strength. Haha… don't trust the devil fool...

Sighing in relief , the night wolf looked at his allies . Everyone had no choice but to give up. So the night wolf that offered the offer to nanashi said " it's all because of furnace forest that lies in the middle of this forest which you human call 'protoneil forest ' . "

" furnace forest ? Go on " nanashi was more interested in it now.

The night wolves watched nanashi and their eyes were telling " damn human , if it wasn't for us being helpless than we would have never reveal this secret to you "
