After the spider bots were defeated, Kingpin stared at the screen where it showed that Spiderman had survived without any lethal hit.

All the bots were destroyed within a minute.

That was a lot of money gone within a minute but he wasn't angry. He was amused.

He was very curious now.

They had thought he was just another mutant or mutated human with spider powers but now it is clear that he has magical powers as well.

He is also exceptional at fighting and a very smart foe, a foe that is actually improving his tech unlike some other heroes buzzing around him.

"Sir, I beg your forgiveness for this failure." Professor had been very confident in this operation but saw his Magnus Opus get fodderized. It was humiliating and scary since Kingpin didn't like failure.

"Relax there was a lack of data on the enemy. Now you have learnt something new, so take it into consideration for the next version of the slayers. And this time I want you to capture him."

Professor felt like the difficulty had just gone up by few levels as capturing was harder than killing. But, he couldn't say anything since the boss didn't like to hear excuses.

"Sir, it will take longer this time. Finding a way to counter those abilities and make the adjustments will be time taxing."

"Go, and I want it done within a month." Fisk indicated with his hand for the man to leave while he looked at the screen.

He wasn't someone that relied on only one method. He was the Kingpin not some thug.

"Start working on the serum. I want to use it soon without the transformation. And don't forget to make three versions. I want a berserk army of these lizards and few superior Lizards with intellect." Fisk muttered with a huge smile as his private army was growing in power once again.

He had few super powered individuals and few mutants under his employ. He had an army of super soldiers and now he was going to add super Lizards.

"Yes sir" The men scattered while Fisk thought about his rival, Norman.

'I have made my move so he should be making his now. I will have Electro, Omega Red and Silverman get ready no matter what the result. Let's see how much the goblin army has improved.' Fisk thought as he got up from his seat and walked away as he needed to rest from a long day.

Back with Peter, he was standing behind Richard as he called Charles. The screen came online as Charles answered the call and both of them could see each other.

"Hello Charles, I hope you are doing well these days." Richard greeted in a cordial tone. They were also mutants since the radiation had unlocked power in their DNA.

Fantastic Four was on good terms with almost everyone since they helped others out and they had many interactions with the mutants.

Even now they were helping them out by using their authority and fame. They were trying to get the mutants to become accepted as humans and not some other species.

The mutant name had started with the mutant supremacist and spread by the extremist that accept such a thing to be natural.

With their fame, it had been going well so the mutants had been enjoying some peace instead of constant attacks.

But all of them knew it was temporary as anything could happen especially because of the Supremacist and the extremists.

"Hello Richard, I am surprised you called. We are all doing fine thanks to your help. I believe it is very late now for normal people like us and you wouldn't call without a purpose, so how can I help you?" Charles took in the people present and noticed Peter.

"Hehe, yes normal people like us need our beauty sleep. So, I won't hold you for long. My friend here has come asking for assistance to find a humanoid lizard creature in our city. This creature was Doctor Connor who took a serum and transformed. This is how the creature looks like, so can you locate him for our friend?" Richard gave a small chuckle as he showed the picture that he collected from Peter, who could actually draw very well.

Looking at the picture Charles wasn't surprised as these kinds of things were very common in their world. Every other day someone was transforming or gaining powers in strange ways.

"I don't mind but my little friend, you owe me a favour."

Peter looked at him and they couldn't tell his expression.

"It's nothing big, just help out my kids when an opportunity arises."

"I will help out regardless of your words if they are in the right."

"Good child, if you have time then come visit my institution. I am curious about your case and the children will love you."

"Thank you for the invitation and I would love to visit."

Charles was happy at his response as the kids did like him because of his friendly attitude and when he stood up for the mutants.

It was better than before but that didn't mean it wasn't there. These things took time to leave peoples mind and it was scary that such powerful beings lived among normal people without any government control.

Heroes were hidden and they didn't try to live normal lives with their powers on while mutants were openly showing they were different and trying to live among them.

It was scary for most people as they were afraid of getting hurt especially when they had no power to fight back.

"Now let me see if I can find your target." Charles muttered as he connected to Cerebro for assistance and scanned the whole city for the target.

He needed to find a humanoid Lizard with human consciousness.

"Found him, he is heading for Oscorp Lab from the sewers. Should I send my kids or are you going to help him Richard?"

"I think he can handle it alone and Norman isn't a good target. Spiderman hurry before something happens to the Doctor." Richard said as he didn't think this warranted their attention. It was something really small and from what he had seen of the Spider, the young man could do it.

"Thank you for the help" With those words, Peter was out of the building in a hurry. He jumped from the window and swung away towards the Lab.

"Well, good night Charles. I got something important to back to."

"Good night Richard, Susan, come visit us some time and talk face to face."

"Maybe soon we might." Richard replied and closed the call as his arms wrapped around Susan.

"Now let's get back to our experiment, shall we." Richard smiled as he held Susan and kissed her lips. She was his first and only love. For her he had made time away from his research. For her he had become a better friend. For her he became a better person.

It was her who anchored him so that he didn't become an insane scientist.
