《Chakra Spider》Chapter 10

After finishing up lunch, Peter left for Uni and since he had linked to the police radio he heard about shooting on the way.
Crime had become common place since so many super villains started popping up, Mutant crimes and crime lords with great power.
Peter found that he was quite lucky he wasn't dead already from all these threats around him. Donning on his suit, Spiderman swung to the scene and took out the gang members with ease.
They didn't even see him coming as he webbed them up nicely and broke their right arms as a warning.
"You see these goggles they are recording your faces and if I see you next time, I will cripple you. Okay, place nice now." Peter whispered into their minds with telepathy causing them immense fear that was increased by his dark appearance.
His glasses recorded each new face into the system and when he met them again it will show up on display.
"Easy guys, I am sorry to interfere with your business but I didn't want you guys getting hurt or these guys running away. Hey hey don't slip there." Peter looked at the cops and one of them shot accidently, and he caught it like it was nothing.
"I did say these toys won't work so chill and let's work together from now on." Peter spoke in a friendly manner and disappeared from sight using invisibility after taking away the guns from the gang members.
He was collecting useful things from criminals that might come in handy.
Finishing up with that Spidey swung through the city to show his glorious forms to the mortals so they might adore him.
It was an exciting experience and many people looked towards him as he really stood out with his black suit, and webs.
The webs disappeared after a few seconds or else he would have ended up causing massive problems.
On his way, he shot webs at any threat that he came across and stopped many accidents that were about to take place.
Even took some photos with kids going to school, it was his first selfie.
It took him an hour and some to arrive at his destination, leaving him only 10 minutes for class to start. The first run was exciting and very useful as Peter could see that these actions would slowly build up his image as a relatable hero.

Heroes that were too out of touch didn't get support from the people down here when things started going wrong as people won't know the hero at all.
Sentry would be that kind of hero and Hulk, both of them were unknown or just plain destructive.
With a good image he won't have trouble from the law enforcement or the people.

"Good afternoon, Dr. Connor." Peter called out as he saw the man in the hallway
"Afternoon Peter, where have you been today?" Connor asked as Peter had arrived early since the first day and would join him when he was free.
"I was with a friend as they need my help with some subjects." Peter answered and took some of the documents from the Doc's hand to help him carry them to class.
"That's good you should make some time for friends. Don't dive too deep into studies and forget about the social life or you might regret it later, okay." Connor smiled as he looked Peter with a happy expression.
Dr. Curtis " Curt" Connors was born and raised in Coral Gables, Florida. He attended Medical school graduating with twin doctorates in biology and biochemistry. It was in college he met Martha and together they had a son Billy.
He became a gifted surgeon who enlisted in the U.S. Army. He performed emergency battlefield surgery on wounded soldiers. However, his right arm was terribly injured in a wartime blast, resulting in its amputation. After returning to civilian life, Doc Connors devoted his life to creating a serum to regenerate lost limbs. Using DNA from reptiles that naturally re-grew lost limbs, Connors had been researching how to replicate the affect in humans.
Connor was a gentle man with a soft personality. He was liked by the students as he was very helpful and encouraging.
Connor saw himself in Peter as the boy was just like him, a genius and a shy person. In the young days he had been into studies too much and had difficulties making connections later.
Doc saw that Peter was gifted so helped him develop further by allowing him to accompany through his life work.
He knew about his financial position so only in his lab could Peter finally show his competence that had been held back for a long time.

They had known each other for 3 years now from the time when Peter came on a trip to this University and it was a fruitful meeting.
Peter and Connor talked to each other by phone, and soon he started visiting the lab where they became best friends.
"I will keep that in mind. Sir, has there been any new developments?"
"Yes, it was a success on the mice. Now we are one step closer to finishing this goal."
"Congratulations Dr. Connor, you can definitely do it." Peter hugged him while holding things with his left arm.
"Thanks, will you be joining today?"
"Of course, I can't step out now at this stage."
"Wonderful, I will be waiting for you." Connor said with a nod and he entered the class before Peter.
Peter entered right after and put down the documents on the desk before taking a seat beside Gwen, who waved at him.
"I didn't know you were close to the Professor."
"I have known him since High School."
"Really, then could you help put in a word for me. I am interested in being his lab assistant and learn from directly."
"Have you tried talking to him?"
"I did but he said not yet, you haven't shown anything special to warrant such attention."
"Professor is really busy now so you will have to wait and you will have to impress him, I am not going to talk him into letting someone in that he doesn't want."
"That's good enough as I just want him to give me a chance."
"Wait for a month or so, I will find you a chance or you can try by yourself in that time. There should be the assignment coming up soon, maybe use that to do it."
"I was thinking same thing and I am kind of excited to see what we can cook up together. I just want to see what this mind of yours will make."
Looking at her ruby lips and twinkling gaze filled with curiosity Peter found it enchanting, she really looked beautiful in this moment.
"Why are you so interested in my head?"
"I have read your articles and your science fair projects. You are genius Peter of course I will be interested."
"You are gonna make me blush if you keep praising me like that." Peter smiled and felt happy at those words.
Every young man likes it when he is praised especially by a beautiful girl.
"You are really different from what I expected." Gwen giggled as she looked at his expression. She had expected to be a serious guy with a dull expression but he seemed kind and playful.
"Never judge a book by its cover"
"I know but sometimes it just happens."
"I know, now shh." Peter said as he turned to the professor as Connor was ready to start.
Gwendolyne "Gwen" Stacy was the daughter of NYPD captain George Stacy and Helen Stacy. As a teenager, she attended Standard High, a rival school to Midtown High where Peter attended.
Unlike most girls, Gwen had always been into science and such. She was a curious girl and spent her time getting those answers but that didn't mean she was anti social.
Gwen had friends and was an outgoing girl filled with confidence. She had never gotten into any romantic relationship because there were no smart boys around her, and she wasn't interested in jocks or people below her intellect.
She had read about Peter in the newspaper articles and knew about him. Even before meeting him at the University she had been looking forward to it to exchange ideas and converse with a person of higher intellect.
The fact that he became friends without any issue was a dream come true and she was benefiting greatly from talking to him.
'I thought he would be weak but his hands and arms are really thick.' Gwen thought as his image really hid the fact that he was probably packed.
She was trained in karate because of her dad so her strength was higher than normal girls. Her father was really protective and trained her how to keep safe. She had a taser, spray and even a stick to take out any threat that tried messing with her.
