Peter Parker was a gentle and shy child. He loved his parents more than life. He was obedient and studious.

But there were times he wished he wasn't poor, he wasn't weak, he wasn't pathetic. There times he wished to be part of the world his classmates lived in.

A fun life without any worries and fortunately he enjoyed research otherwise his life would have been miserable as all he did was study to bring a bright future for the family as they suffered because of him.

They could have lived quietly enjoying their retirement but because of him they had to work and earn extra money to cover his expenses.

There were many times he had cried knowing this fact and being unable to help them had made it worse.

Their presence covered his life up in warmth and safety that made him never think about his parents he had completely forgotten at this age.

All these feelings were the only things that came to him when darkness took over but it didn't last long as he was greeted by a world of white.

'Where am I?'

'Am I dreaming' Peter thought but that wouldn't make sense so he assumed some supernatural entity must have interfered.

He couldn't move from his standing position and in front of him, Peter saw a screen that showed him someone he knew very well.

'Why is it showing me? What is happening here?' Peter was seeing a video about himself but it was different.

The Peter in the video looked slightly older and they were on a research outing to the Oscorp labs where a spider bit him.

Peter saw the other version also get bit by a spider in a different situation and then develop powers. The other Peter decided to use them to make money for his family like he normally would and participated in wrestling as Spiderman.

He easily won confirming his superior physique and even made artificial webs to go with his image. His popularity increased and everything was going well but the money he was getting wasn't the fair amount so when the manager got robbed, Peter didn't stop him and this same robber ended up robbing his house.

The robber tried to loot his house and took May as hostage while Ben tried to calm him down but this led to Ben getting shot and the Robber running away.

When Peter came back home, he saw Ben dead and the news of the Robber hiding in a warehouse. Peter rushed to the scene in his suit and almost killed the man, unmasking him he saw the familiar face and realized that this would have never have happened if he had just stopped the thief that day.

'It's not my responsibility.' He had said that day.

"With great power comes great responsibility, is a good way to live Peter or you will regret later in life. Small incidents can connect to make a worse picture so it is better to stop them at the roots. If you have the powers why not use it for good and enjoy the process."

Peter was feeling like his life had just been taken away from him seeing the scene when he heard the voice and turned around to see the world change into a forest of humongous trees.

There was a man sitting in the center of the clearing with a small round table and two chairs. There was a warm feeling in the area and Peter felt like he could relax here.

The man was blonde with blue eyes and a warm appearance. He was wearing an orange shirt and black pants that made him look very ordinary but this situation was anything but that.

"Who are you and what was that?" Peter asked directly forgetting about his fears as it involved his family.

When his family got involved everything was fair game and all restrictions were gone.

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki and we are here because my pet spider chose you. As for that, it was your future if I hadn't interfered.

I already know you Peter and I am friends with you. With my presence a lot of the future tragedies never took place but I met your other version when he was 21 so he had already lost Uncle Ben and some other friends along the way. It was better than what would have happened if I wasn't there since your life is a tragedy." Naruto replied in a gentle tone as the spider sat on his hand

Peter stood there in silence as he took in those words. The man knew him from another dimension, his spider chose him, he would lose his father, and his future friends might die and his life will be tragic.

"Why did you give me this power?"

"Relax Peter, You life is finished if you don't have power. You are meant to be Spiderman and if you are not Spiderman, you are a dead man. Remember that your world is filled with monsters and criminals so it's not actually a safe world. All these people are living in ignorance until the day an incident happens to them and they realize their powerlessness.

Did you not feel the powerlessness when you were losing consciousness? That's how it is. Power, it can be physical, financial or political can give you some form of safety and choice while without them you are just living until someone comes along and ruins you.

But even financial and political powers have limits in your world since it has supernatural beings so you need the other kind of power to actually live.

I already knew who my pets were going to choose because I am friends will all of you guys and I want you all to have a better life from the start." Naruto stood up and hugged Peter enveloping him safety and warmth like no other

"Why are you doing this for me? Even if you say we are friends, isn't this going to take time and effort for nothing?"

"Peter, Peter, Peter, doing things for a friend isn't for nothing. Do you do things for you May and Ben to get something. That's how it is. Your real parents were also heroes that were killed in the line of duty and you still have a younger sister out there. Your lives will be in danger so I am not forcing you but I want you to realize that you should take on the mental of Spiderman for the right reasons from the start.

Heroism starts from the family and friends before it envelopes the neighborhood. I have given you more power than your other versions and I want you to use it for good, and for personal reasons. It is your power now."

Hearing his words, Peter could see the information about his real parents enter his mind. He could see them clearly again and how they really used to be.

Their confidence, their strength, he could see it all and he saw them die in a plane explosion at the hands of a minion of the Red Skull from Hydra.

He also saw his young sister Teresa that was attending high school in Washington.

They were just pictures and information to him as he really didn't have any emotions tied to any of them sadly at this point time of life.

He was a toddler when his parents died.

But he could understand now what Naruto was getting at. He had shown the future to him so Peter would avoid being selfish and act so irresponsible.

Being Spiderman wasn't something he would become with his current mindset but going through that scene and feeling those emotions before being hit with further truths of his own future, Peter understood that unless he wanted to live in a bunker for the rest of his life he had to become the best Spiderman that ever lived.

He had to become the strongest and cover all bases, never miss a thing so that it doesn't bite him in the ass.

He had to stop ignoring things and focus on the wider world around him before it decided to act on him.

"Thanks for helping me understand and thank you for your help. What should I call you?" Peter was grateful to Naruto for helping him see the picture as it was his powers that allowed him to think so clearly in this confusing state.

"Just call me Naruto, we are friends and I will help you out when you need me but I don't like giving things for free either. I don't like people becoming dependent on me so I will only help you train, give you advice and give you tests that might lead to some rewards. Got it?"

"Yes, that is more than I can ask for. I will never forget this goodwill."

'Did you give something to my sister?' A question popped inside of his head.

"Do you want me to give her something?"

"She will be targeted once someone finds out about our family relations, isn't she?"

"She will be in danger regardless of her family relations as SHILED will recruit her soon after High School. If you want happiness than you will have to cover all your bases and you can't do it alone. You need a real safe house and a team for your people and for the city. You should know fighting alone, how many heroes have suffered death."

"What kind of rewards can I expect and what kind of tests?"

"Battles, you will go through battles each time and I will give a choice as to what you want for a reward. It can be a medical item, magical item, technological item, whatever but it depends on the difficulty of the test."

"When will we start training?"

"Tomorrow, we will train for a month inside this place. This place is inside your mind but don't worry with my powers your body will experience everything and grow. Right now you already look different since your body went through changes."

Peter hadn't noticed such a thing and stared at the mirror that appeared, and saw his appearance. His body was taller now and well built. He was 1.9 meters with lean muscles all over his body.

His thin body had filled out and made him look damn good.

He could probably knock out his old self with a single punch even if he didn't have super powers.

"How is training here any different? Is it the time?"

"Yes, it will only be a single night but you will have lived here for a month."

Peter nodded and understood that the person he was interacting with was from another dimension and lived in a different kind of world.

"Relax and never let negative thoughts affect your mind because negativity only kills you from the inside, it will never help you. Keep positive and keep looking for answers because you will definitely find them with time. Don't ever let this become a chore and enjoy it because when you enjoy things, you put all yourself into it."

With those words Peter found the world fade away again.
