《Worldview》Chapter 5, Perilous Escape II

Prey become the predator, easier said than done.
Whilst crouching, I slowly made my way throughout the aisles. The constant screaming and the bloodshed on the ground made it hard for me to focus. I swiftly made my way through now, constantly peeking throughout each aisle to spot the huge man. There he was. A young woman was being cornered by him. She hurriedly gazed around, trying to search for someone to save her I suppose.
Again, I let out a huge breath of air and ran toward the huge man, screaming my lungs off.
"AHHHH!"
I tackled the huge man, well that's what I thought I did. I stuck to the huge man like a chewed gum. He glanced down at me.
'Playing hero, are you?'
He slapped me off and I hit the wall. The man smirked and crouched down to meet my eye level and gazed at the knife.
'Nice little toy you got there, but you got the balls to use it?'
He slapped me across my face and I winced out in pain. The man then picked himself up and struck me again, but this time with his foot. My whole world shook and I fell onto the ground, my vision was blurry, damn, I really shouldn't have played hero huh? In the midst of my wavering vision, I could see the silverware knife gleaming. Even though I should have accepted the reality, my morality overtook my common sense. Did I change or was I always like this?
I shook off the thought as it was unnecessary and crawled over to the knife. Steadily picking myself up, I looked at the back of the man and thrust my knife deep inside.
That went in a lot deeper than I thought. The man turned slowly and looked at me with furious eyes, a killing intent could be sensed a mile away.

'You little b-'
I didn't wait for his insult and threw a punch that, surprisingly, harmed him. It must have been due to the knife but I could see the agony displayed on his face. It seems he had really lost it now as he charged toward me. Of course, me having a thin build whilst the man having a huge one, I was sent flying.
BAM!
I hit the shelves with a thump and slumped onto the ground. I really needed to get back up right now.
[15 minutes remaining.]
The window displaying the message appeared then vanished instantly. I had to kill someone in 20 minutes, meaning I had to endure this hellhole for another 15 minutes. Unfortunately, I had no time to think as I quickly shifted my eyes to the incoming boulder approaching me at an alarming rate. I ducked out the way as the boulder, who was the huge man, crashed into the shelves. I really had to do something now or else I would die. It was then, a voice inside my head was heard.
[Exclusive Skill, Capture Lv.1 has been activated!]
Suddenly, the word became the world became black and white and possible solutions became known to me. It was as if the skill which had been activated had captured the surroundings and the scenario to figure out the most efficient ways to solve the situation. I let out another breath and broke into a sprint. I grabbed a knife on the ground and swerved out the way of the incoming punch. My heart pace strenuously as I thankfully avoided the punch. The huge man turned around but unfortunately I was faster. My hand, gripping the knife, flew into the air and pierced through the huge man's arms. He roared with rage and attempted to swing at me again.

[Head.]
I ducked in time and the huge man's arm rammed into the shelf, which then crumbled into pieces. I used his stunned time and threw my arm up, the knife splitting his other arm open. The man roared but had succumbed to his pain and dropped onto the ground. I panted heavily as I stared down at the man wincing in pain.
"Huh. It seems I do the balls to wield this knife."
I generated a light smirk then the knife pierced the man's heart.
[You have killed a living thing.]
