As Gold get out of the tower he slowly walk toward his house and start to think about all the things that happened today everything seem so dream like he feel like he just watched all this madness happening in front of him without having any control.

He lock forward and see two people running toward him and before he can react the girls jump on him.

After taking the time to understand what was happening he look in his arms to see the twins firmly hug him the two seem almost on the verge of crying :

“You stupid idiot you know how much we were worry about you.”

Gold feel like he suddenly snap back to reality as he see the two worrying for him so much.

He feels the warmth that has not feel for a long time he hug them and after a few minutes like that they silently walk back home.

He was feeling like a lucky man he was having people that care about him feeling much peaceful and calm after that whole mess of a day.

They reach home the twins drag him around the table waiting for him to explain everything that happen with the patriarch and he finish explaining the whole situation the two were visibly not happy at his new duty :

“We can just hope they will not send you to the front line.”

The two were visibly shaken by what they learn after talking for a few hours they all go to sleep.

When he wake he get out of his bed making sure to not wake up the two still sleeping girls after he quickly prepare before he start to walk toward the sky splitting tower sitting in the centre of the clan.

As he walk he start to feel the pressure he will open his heaven edict for the first time what inside will determine is life for the for next months or even years if he lucky could not get one that needed him to go through some weird way to accomplish it.

As he approach his destination he see the patriarch waiting for him at the gate leading to the garden when he reach him he sign him to follow him and without a word walk past the gate.

To his surprise they walk around the tower after walking for a few more minutes they reach a small circular training area with a big tree sitting in his centre.

The patriarch turn toward him :

“Today we will examine your heaven edict we need you to pass through the three gates as soon as possible. To make the edict visible you need to inject your qi inside your dantian through the heaven mark.”

Gold nod all of them has been teach how to do it. He take a deep breath before closing his eyes.

He take that small strand of qi guiding it inside his meridians to the heaven mark as he feel the mark activate he take pause feeling the pressure before he finally open his eyes.

In front of him was a golden scroll on it was just a few words :

Heaven will give you one seed

make the flower bloom

Gold frown something is not right your first three tasks are know as the three gates they are the tasks that you need accomplish before getting access your path.

They are known to be brutally difficult taking decades for some people to finish them but his task seem too easy something not right.

The patriarch seeing his face start to worry :

“Explain to me.”

Gold read him the content of the task after that the patriarch turn silent he was also feeling that something was fishy :

“Accept it we will have the time to worry later the hard part is probably to make the flower bloom.”

Gold nod before he send a bit of his qi into the golden scroll.

It quickly dissolve into a string of golden energy disappearing in his right hand leaving only a small golden mark in form of a flower.

After that the patriarch start to explain his plan to finish the task :

“I thought that your path will have something to do with making plants grow. I prepare an appropriate place for you follow me .”

After that he start walking toward where all the plants of the clan are grown in the rainbow fields our clan are one the best in that domain far from the specialised clans but in the generalist clans we have one the best agricultural hall of the alliance.

After walking for almost an hour they start to reach the colourful fields spanning hundreds of kilometres in front of them .

They walk for two more hours when they finally reach the centre hall directing everything in the zone without entering they walk around it :

“This zone is for personal experiment that were your plot will be.”

Behind the hall there is a small zone reserve for personal use but that was only in theory in practice almost all of the plot are used by the elders of the hall.

After that he continue walking toward on the empty plot in the edge of the zone for normal people the size will be overwhelming all the plot are divided into 1Km² it was a pretty impressive size for just making experimentation.

That fact was even worse when you know that the clan need you to use at least eighty pour-cent of the plot at all time .

Gold was a bit worried by that fact taking care of a plot of that size is a really a time consuming task seeing the young face the patriarch was quick to understand why :

“Don’t worry about taking care of the plot I assigned an elder to help she will take care of it and left only what you need until you make further progress in your path.”

After he say that they wait for a bit until the elder arrive Gold was curious on what elder it will be the agricultural hall has more than ten elder almost all of them were fanatic that live only to grow plant some them going as far using their own body.

The agricultural hall has another name the green cult but it mainly because of the elders being complete obsess with their discipline his chance of the elder the patriarch chose being “normal” is pretty low.

At the moment were he was lost in thinking about all of that he feel someone walk toward them and as he look for who it was he start to question if has not offence the goddess of luck in his previous life.
