The next day I got a surprise when Shinjin wasn't the one who delivered my first meal of the day. The person who gave me my food was a young woman with red hair and blue eyes. Once Tera left Shinjin came into the room laughing.

I raised an eyebrow. "What's so funny Shinjin?"

Then I remembered what Dr. Crow said about Shinjin being amused that he had been attacked by me. Shinjin gave me an amused look. "You know I wouldn't mind if you did that again. Although it would probably help if I started being more…" He cleared his throat, "Sexy for you!"

I had half a mind to throw as many insults at him as possible but that probably amuse him even more. So I didn't say anything. He seemed butthurt by my reaction.

"Okay fine I'll stop teasing you," Shinjin said, "you can be very touchy sometimes."

He paused and then frowned. "I see. Well I'll go grab the things that you need to get cleaned up."

After Shinjin helped me get cleaned up I got dressed. All wanted to do was lay down, go to sleep and pretend I didn't have sex with a woman. That comment made me think about my name and why it's been feeling so awkward to me lately. I guess it's because I don't think I'm royalty even though I am. I'd rather go by the name Black instead of Princess Black.

"You know something Shinjin?" I said.

"What?"

"Even though I am getting my memories of who I really am, the name Princess Black just feels awkward to me. Honestly, I'd rather just be called Black."

Shinjin paused and then nodded. "Just call you Black huh? Now that feels awkward. What about calling you Ab-" He stopped himself and shook his head. "Never mind, if you want to be called Black then I will call you Black, sound good?"

I nodded. "Yeah, it does. It makes me feel normal. Although I doubt Dr. Crow would even agree with calling me that."

"No kidding," Shinjin said.

I laid my head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat.

"You know something? I think it's time we just do something other than have sex every time we see each other," Shinjin said.

"Remember that one day when I taught you how to draw your magic out of connector crystal?" Shinjin replied.

I nodded. With everything that's happened lately I totally forgot about it.

"Maybe we can work on that?" Shinjin said. He pushed me off his lap and made me sit next to him.

"So what do I do for it?" I asked.

"Just do what you did last time," Shinjin instructed.

"Oh," I cupped my hands into a ball and concentrated my magic in them. A bright light came out of them.

Shinjin smiled. "Now focus the magic on your hands just like that. Keep it going as long as possible."

I did what I was told to do. I kept concentrating but then the light got so bright that it exploded in my hands. "Well this is a load of shit!" I said frowning.

Shinjin chuckled. "It's okay Black. Not everyone's going to get their magic down on the first try. So we can just practice this for a while instead of having sex. I should try and think of a way to be more 'sexy' for you."

I snorted. "That's fine. It would be more sexy if you wouldn't attack me all the time. You could try that for starters. I gave Dr. Crow the same suggestion. But I guess he decided he wasn't going to do that."
