The pain stopped all of a sudden leaving me with a floaty feeling. Then messages from the system appeared in front of me.
You have reached the level threshold and have begun to evolve chose wisely, or you may die.
Choice 1 → Light Kid (Common)
Level bonuses are Int +4, Agi +2,Vit +1, and free points +4. Skills gained Inferior Flight Lv1/5. Due to you using Light side magic more than you may now evolve into a being of pure light gaining wings while losing all magic and skills relating to things that are not light-based. Healing and light-based skills will gain a bonus for leveling up.
Follows or being born of the light. They fly throughout the skies spreading their light to those in need. When the world of Yusat was cursed with eternal darkness the God of light sent his newborn children there to save those who were innocent and guide them to the realm of light planet Lunas. For days the children worked without rest to lead those who were innocent while holding off the darkness. Many were lost there but through the hard work of the Light Kids, they were able to save many children and innocents. Many of the Light God…
Choice 2 → Void Kid (Common)
Leveling bonuses are Str +4, Vit +2, Int +1, and free points +3. Skills gained Basic Void Jump Lv1/10. Giving up the light you have embraced the chaos and all things that come with it. You will lose all light-based skills and magic. All void-based skills and magic will gain a bonus to leveling.
The Mother's first creations were those who she brought to life in the Void. Out of most of her children, those of the Void Kid line were the ones with the most potential for growth in the Void. Being stronger and smarter than those they fought with for growth. Although they are strong they are solitary monsters preferring to be alone over being with others of the same species. When meeting another of its kind they will fight to see who is stronger, the one whose losses are eaten or forced away from the area.

Choice 3 →Void Light Kid (New Species Uncommon)
Leveling bonuses are Str +3, Int +3, Agi +1, and free points +4. Skills gained are Basic Light Slash Lv1/6.
Being the first of your kind it is up to you to write the history of your people. All I have been able to see is that you are a battle junkie, and you put yourself in constant danger but are not stupid.
Choice 4 → Twilight Kid (New Species Rare)
Leveling bonus Int +4, Str +2, Agi +1, and free points + 4. Skills gained Tail Slash Lv1/10 Basic Darkness Magic Lv1/7.
By choosing this evolution you may gain or lose skills and may luck be on your side.
You walk in the balance of Order and Chaos the darkness has helped bridge the gap between your powers making you a Twilight monster. You thirst for battle with all of your heart. You will learn how to use your powers for destruction and healing. You will shape the future of this new species with the actions you take so be warned.
Only one can be selected and once that is selected you will never be able to evolve into that. You may be able to become a higher-tier version if you survive that long. This will affect your physical self and your soul changing you forever.
Looking at the Light Kid all I was able to see about it was the same armor and wings being 3ft (0.91 m), but no tail and my claws. Plus losing my other skills and magic was horrible as well as my natural weapons.
Void Kid was more beast-like than I currently am now. A coat of sliver fur covered his body leaving his chest with none showing the black skin underneath. It was 4ft (1.22 m) and had a mouth that looked like a snake with how it could open its mouth so far, the claw on the hands and feet were long and the shaper was pitch black. The tail was 3ft (0.91 m) long with a sharp wicked edge that looked like it could cut something in tier 1 in half with ease.

Void Light Kid looked the same as I did now just 4ft (1.22 m) tall, with longer claws and a tail with tiny horns coming out of my head. But that was it. Nothing too special about it.
Twilight Kid was kinda the same as me but with black and purple streaks that looked like marking of some kind not sure about it, but it was 4ft (1.22 m) tall. Short black hair came from his head. Its eyes were a gray color, the nose looked like a normal human nose while the mouth when closed did too. Opened it had a row of sharp teeth. The ears were pointed like a half-elf ears. Legs were still the same just stronger by the looks of it. The tail had a dark sheen to it being 3ft (0.91 m) long with a blade with a hook on the back side of it.
Void Light and Twilight were the winners in my mind the other two lost. I could play it safe and pick Void Light Kid or gamble and decide on the Twilight Kid to see what I get it could be great or absolute trash. Timir warned me that I would need darkness magic to be able to fight off those who would probably come for me later after they find out I was reborn. Do I risk it for more power or do I play it safe for now and hope I get a chance to acquire darkness magic later on? Fuck what do I do then? Why can't things be simple for me?
Safe or risky which is better? Can I really waste this opportunity given to me for more power? Void Light Kid is only an uncommon race while Twilight Kid is a rare race. Rare means better right? The Mother gave me a quest to kill the Hive Mind and the corrupted slaves it had. The reward was a better evolution, so the twilight is the one I should pick. No risk no reward. Let's fucking do this.
“Twilight Kid I want to become a Twilight Kid.” I yelled into the surrounding nothingness. I felt something change once again with me then my mind and soul once again merged with my body. Pain rippled throughout me once again not as bad as before, but I passed out from everything hitting me all at once.

Law of Shadows
Mercs are causing trouble in my city. They are hunting someone, whatever the cost. It’s not like I care that some lowly humans died, but if I don’t act now it would set a bad example. So what would the hero do? Probably he would save the victims and protect them while the enemies keep coming…Yeah, as if I would ever do something so troublesome! They aren’t calling me the demon lord for no reason. I suppose I’ll just shoot the victim and be done with it.

The Monster Inside: The First Vampire
Despite appearances, there was once a time where monsters did not exist. Where peace and prosperity reigned over all life. But those sinful and demonic forces that had hidden themselves in the shadows just couldn't help themselves could they? They wanted a piece of that prosperity too. They wanted to taint it, corrupt it, revel in its dark side. This is the story of a boy who was tainted. Of a boy who unintentionally bore a seed of sin and who in his naivety let it out. This is the story of how that boy was shamed and disgraced. Of how he was outcast for simply being. This is the story of how that boy learned to embrace the darkness that made him different. A darkness that would later make him known as the Lord of Night. Note to Reader: I understand this book is not for everyone, if there is a writer that can write to please everyone, I have never heard of them. The MC can be frustrating in his decisions as he learns to grow and accept what and who he is. I believe this reality is unavoidable. That being said, if you feel the need to give a review, please do so, just know that I will report you if all that review seems to do is blab toxic language and insult my literary choices without giving constructive advice or alternatives. That's not just a me policy, that's a policy of this website. I'm not writing this note because I'm a writer who does not acknowledge that there are faults in my work. I know there are. That's what happens when it hasn't been professionally edited by someone other than the author. I'm saying this because I'm sick of reading 1 star or 0.5 star rated reviews that seem to do nothing but hate on the book because they don't like the story. No comments on grammar, ways to improve or suggestions for better story arcs. Just plain hate. It's not on, and I frankly shouldn't have to write this note, but needed to get it off my chest. In saying all that, thank you to those who do leave reviews that don't fall into the above category. Your appreciation of my work, or alternatively, your willingness to give advice for improvement, is appreciated.
