《Lost In the Void. (Monster Evolution LitRpg)》Chapter 6. Hunting prey

Once again I was running through the forest to find stuff to kill. I didn't find much excepted for a few flying monsters that were too fast to get near as they flew away and blended into the treetops. It was pissing me off that I couldn't find much. They could be hiding from all the noise that I am making, or they already ran away before I even got here.
Getting annoyed I stopped running full speed through the forest and slowed down enough to where it was harder to hear me moving through the brush and root infested area I was in. Sure enough something came insight. Frightling Lv: 4 Tier 1. Slowly I approached watching from the treeline. A dog with a human face that had a row of sharp teeth was moving back towards the area where the pond was. It was at least 2ft (0.61 m) long and a 1ft (0.3 m) tall. It didn't look too smart as it chose to ignore everything around it probably thinking it was the top dog or something like that. I know I should play it safe and fight smart, but after that first fight I just couldn't fight like that It just felt like something was missing from the one-sided slaughter that happened. Putting the skin off in a brush to keep from it getting damaged during the fight.
Looking at the Frightling closer it was easy to tell it was STR focused with the muscles it had but looked slower than me all thing considered. I Got ahead of it by a good 25ft (7.62 m) and stepped out onto the trail it was using. It stopped and looked at me before howling at me to say I was an idiot for trying to fight it. Maybe I was, but I wouldn't let that stop me.
“Come on already fucking ugly bastard.” I roared at it. It stopped and looked at me for a second before it realized I just insulted it. The Frightling's face snarled up into a hideous visage. It became a rage fueled Idiot as it ran towards me. Before the fight I had manged to refill my Mp to full from how long it took to find the beast that was now charging at me.
Inferior Light Bolt was shot 6 times repeatedly at its front left leg. Already at halfway away from me the first two bolts hit tearing it up, but it still ran towards me. A second later the rest came towards its leg again but because it stumbled 3 hit it in the chest while the last one struck its left ear tearing a large chunk out of said ear. But it still shrugged all that off and limp ran towards me. Having used up 12 mp with that last attack. I prepared myself with two Inferior Void Slashes. When it reached me I stepped to where I had injured it, as I did that it reared up and tried to stomp me where I was just at.
My left claws glowing with power as I raked them across the joint where the leg met the shoulder, as my claws bit into the flesh of this thing It hit the bone and stopped before sliding across and out not dealing a lot of damage. Seeing this I aimed for its stomach, Before I even hit it bashed its body into me dealing a total of 6 points of damage to me, still I grit my teeth and slashed with my right claws aiming for anything I could hit. My claws swiped down its beefy back before I was sent flying a few feet back.

I am faster be he it stronger and more durable. I had to be careful I had around 4 heals left and one shot, maybe less if I shot it more seeing as light did more damage to it. The Frightling was doing that well either, I think it has around half its health left from how mangled its leg and chest are. I cast another Inferior Light Bolt and let it hang besides my head. It seemed to be paying that more attention than it did me seeing how it had done more damage than I did my claws.
It charged once more towards me keeping the bolt in its sight not letting it out of view. This was good for me, I ran towards it too. When I was 5ft (1.52 m) away I fired the bolt towards the face and watched as it reared up trying to block it from hitting it in the face with its chest again and slid under it. Taking both my claws I ripped at the unprotected area around its stomach, pushing them as deep as they would go. I only got them in about 5 inches (0.13 m) into its gut before feeling it coming down from rearing up I used my legs to launch me to the side before it came crashing down on top of me.
A loud wack sound as it dropped all of it weight down. Before it had a chance to figure out I was not there I went towards its face and plunged both of my claws towards its neck and eye. It screamed in pain as tried to bite me but because of the angle I was at it couldn't reach me with its mouth. Seeing as the fight was already over I pushed even deeper going and far as I could get. My left hand went it deeper than the right as I penetrated its brain. Soon it ceased to move anymore as not even a growl came out as the limp body. A small ding noise rang in my head as it died which confused me.
Frightling Lv 4 Tier 1 slain exp being awarded. Woah I never heard it make a noise before it showed me a message from the system. I wonder if I can get it to only ding and when I get to a safe area I can go over them. Because if I can get it to put the message off to the side where it won't block my vision It would be safer for me when fight to not get distracted.
You have leveled up. Now Lv 2. Your STR +2, INT +2, VIT +1. You have gained 2 Free points. Inferior Light Bolt has reached Lv: 2/5
The gains from killing the beast were good. I'll invest the free points after I return to the pond and rest for a bit. Going over to the corpse I rip off a thick leg of meat and go to pick up the skin of the Hollow Kit that was put off to the side. While that happens I use an Inferior Healing to top off my health. Leaving me with 28 mp left for a fight in case something comes my way thinking I'm exhausted from my fight just now. 4 heals and 4 shots not bad, but I should head back. But I hope to run into more stuff along the way. Holding the skin back with my tail and eating with my left hand I went back towards the red pond.

Few came towards me when I traveled on the trail that headed to the pond, but mostly watched from the shadows of the trees or in the treetops. Some couldn't blend in at all but were enticed by the smell of blood dripping from the leg I held. But didn't attack waiting for a chance to strike after I fought a stupid monster that challenged me. It was boring with them all watching and not fighting.
I moved the now half leg of meat at the monsters trying to make them attack. I'm going to give up 2 heals for 9 shots of Inferior Light Bolt. “What's wrong you stupid bastards can't come out of the shadows to fight little old me for some juicy meat. What are you cowards.” I jeered towards them.
All kinds of noises could be heard as anger filled them. The smart ones backed away while a few of the dumb ones came out to meet me. Three monsters came out into sight. Grimeling Lv: 2 Tier 1. Grimeling Lv:1 Tier 1. Grimeling Lv: 2 Tier 1.
The left and right had higher levels than the one in the middle. Not seeing any choice now I used those Free points to Increase my AGI by 2 points once again as pain hit my body, but it wasn't as bad as when my body was being created from nothing, so I could deal with it. The changes occurred almost instantly, but the pain was there as a dull ache that was pushed off into the back of my mind.
The Grimelings were a tad pool looking monsters with pale white skin that was almost. Two legs that were as thick as the one I was eating with little arms that only looked like they were used for pushing off the ground when they launched. The most dangerous thing abut them was their whip like tongues, that came out 5ft (1.52 m) from itself.
As they began to move closer by launching themselves at me, I shot both the left and right ones with as they flew through the air with 4 shots of Inferior Light Bolts each while saving one by my head just if I needed to get out of a jam if I had too. The bolts ripped them to shreds as they struck their targets leaving the middle one left alive. 2 dings rang out in my head, but the messages didn't pop up into view that was good.
Looking at the last monster left in front of me its eyes showed fear when looking at me having killed its brethren in less than a second. It looked around in fear as it tried to find an escape from me. Well I'm not going to let it escape that would be stupid of me to allow that to happen and give this thing a chance for revenge. It turned and tried to flee towards the pond which was at least an hour away so yeah it was not getting away from me at all.
I picked up the skin with my tail again and ran after it leaving the meat leg behind. Little did I care for what the other monsters did with the corpses of the Grimelings that I had just killed.
Before the Grimeling laded from launching up into the air I had already sent the last bolt towards its knee to cripple it. And my shot was true as it tore through the knee, making it slam into the ground as it landed on said knee. It whipped its tongue at me as I closed the distance to it. A small gash cut me on my stomach as I evaded the blow heading to my head by twisting. As I got in close its tongue had less of opportunity to hit me. It tried its hardest to escape by thrashing around to keep me at bay. I jumped on top of it back I stomped the fuck out of its head. And ten good stomps later it died, and I got another ding. I didn't stay and went straight towards the pond as soon as I could not be wanting any more attention from the local wildlife thinking I was weakened by the fight.
Just before I got into the area around the pond I fired off the rest of my mp with Inferior Void Bolts making it raise to level 2/5 today was a good hunt but for now I have to regenerate more of my resources. Waiting will be boring, so I'll have to play around with a few ideas while I'm waiting here. I might be able to raise my stats or gain new skills by doing things but for now I will have to wait and see if my theories are true or not.

Spider POV
Unknown to him at that time the spider he gave food too found the other kills he did and shared with the weaker members of her race. A army was being born from the kindness of that was given to it, The monsters of the surrounding area watched in horror as around 50 spiders descended on the kills making and making hunting teams that would gang up on others from the treetops.
I will raise more of my kind and those that will follow with the kindness that I have learned of from that strange monster. It truly was of the Mother holy light. Praise be to the Mother and her chosen children. I want to meet the monster to show him of what we can become.

Legendary Farmer (available on Kindle July 2022!)
NOTE: Legendary Farmer is now COMPLETE. The first book, Clearing, was released on Kindle Unlimited July 5, 2022 with significant edits. I will post the first chapter of Clearing, as well as three chapters of Cuckoo's Dream, another novel in the LF universe, as a stub, with a link to the first book, so if you love LF and want me to be able to keep writing consistently, please go give Clearing five stars! In the VRMMORPG, Veritas Online, things are getting a little stale. Since the game launched, only one world- wide event has occurred, and that was a year ago.. The players are still having fun, but everyone agrees it’s about time for something big to happen. Everybody tends to forget that big things grow from small things, and little things are always changing in Veritas. The human country of Quarternell is at peace for the first time in... ever. Aspen, a former war hero, feels like he’s earned a quiet life together with his animal companions. They’re tired of fighting, and other people in general. They plan to live peacefully, far away from the city. As soon as Aspen figures out this farming thing out, he’s never going to go anywhere again. Unfortunately for Aspen, his country and his goddess aren’t quite done with him yet.Rouge the Rogue is a casual gamer in Veritas Online. She’s just a kid, and her focus is supposed to be on school and hanging out with friends. Emphasis on ‘supposed to’. She’s already pretty good at the school thing, and she doesn’t actually have that many friends. What she really loves is exploring all the cool ways the developers of Veritas found to make their game unique and realistic. Then she’s offered a very special quest, and an opportunity to go beyond the average player. She’s never been that much of a rule follower anyway....Clearing is appropriate for most ages. It has minimal foul language, no sex, and some violence. It is LGBTQ+ friendly. (P.S. IMPORTANT! This book contains very mild profanity, no sex, and is meant to be FUN. Yes, the characters sometimes think Deep Thoughts, and idealism pretty much runs rampant, but, in the end, I hope you just enjoy reading it. Laugh, cry, share it with your kids, read it to your dog, whatever makes you happy. My goal is for it to be accessible to everyone from ages 12ish on up, so you could definitely consider it YA, but with lots of big words because I don't believe in talking down to my readers.) Book Two: Harrowing (Starts after the original Chapter Fifty, now Sixteen, since I condensed chapters from the same perspective together.) Zoey has started her summer internship at Veritas Corporation, and she can honestly say that being an adult is boring. Until she starts learning secrets she was never supposed to know. In game, Rouge is finally making progress on her big quest. Apparently Duke Penbrooke took too long to return to the world, so the world is coming to get him... in the form of a few assassins. Aspen is going to have to face the life he left behind, and deal with the fact that it's not as easy being 'dead' as he thought. When what he'd hoped would be a short trip back to civilization to resupply turns into a whole lot more, he'll have to fight for his life, his friends, and his kingdom. Book Three: Sowing Rouge and Aspen have reached Bright, only to find that their enemies were already expecting them. They will have to quickly unravel the mysteries of who their opponents actually are, because they're already ten steps behind. Rouge and Aspen are finally home, but that doesn't mean they can return to their peaceful days of farming. Their enemies are hot on their heels and determined to destroy everything they've managed to achieve. Join them and all their friends for the final volume of Legendary Farmer.

Mana World - Convergence
The story is complete it was a prototype and it is BAD.I do not recommend reading it, I will not edit it in any form, it is still here as a personal remained of how bad I was at the start. Mages are soo cool but without mana you can't become a mage. Well let's see how we can get mana to this world. I'm sure it would be a perfectly safe and excellent idea. First try at writing something like this. Dunno if I will update constantly or not, dunno what will happen with the story and the characters. Recipe: 3 cubic meters of science, 5 shit tons of pseudo science, 2 dantians of mistycism,1/2 cup of stupid references, 1 package of sarcasm, 1/400 tolkien epicness, 1 tea spoon of stupid commentaries, a pinch of craziness and dressed with randomness, uppps, too much randomness. Accepting all kinds of constructive criticism. Well prologue is finished.
