《W.A.R.F.R.A.M.E.》Chapter 46: Final Round Part 2

After the battle started, Frank went to the bleachers to sit with Mister Myers when he noticed someone he had not expected to see there sitting with Mister Myers, “Maya, right? Hi, I’m Frank.” Frank introduced himself to Maya, “Yes, but excuse me. Who are you?” Asked Maya and Frank answered, “I’m the team captain for Silver Vanguard.” Maya nodded and understood, “So, what are you doing here Frank? Shouldn’t you be fighting with the rest of the team?” Frank shook his head, “Nope. Only three people can participate in a single battle. We drew straws before the match and I lost.” Maya finally understood the situation.
Frank then asked, “And what are you doing here, Maya?” Maya answers with a question, “How do you know who I am?” Frank chuckles, “Everyone knows who you are. You’re the only teen model in the school. It’s kind of hard not to hear about you. So, what are you doing here?” Maya understood what Frank was trying to say, “Oh, that. Well, I’m here to cheer my brother on. This is the finals after all.” Frank asks, “Your brother?” Maya nodded, “Yes, Vincent. I came here to cheer on Vincent, Anna, and Justin. They’ve done their hardest to get here, and I felt that it was something I should do as his sister.” Having listened to Maya’s answer, Frank turns his attention to the screen, “Come on, guys. You can do this.”
Inside the game, Jakqoo V was having its arms pulled behind its back. Vincent argued, “Yeah, I also learned about that move!” The Jakqoo V head-butted using the back of its head, creating enough space for Vincent to activate the thrusts and swing the lower half of the Jakqoo V’s body upward and kicking the Sky Raider, before kicking away and distancing himself from the enemy frame. Bart smirks, “If that didn’t work, then how about this.” The Sky Raider folded and moved around several parts and transformed into a regular Warframe. His action did not only surprise Vincent and Anna but Yolanda as well. “How is that even possible?” said Anna.

Sitting with Frank and Maya, Mister Myers muttered, “A transformable. So that thing is a custom-made frame.” While Anna and Vincent were distracted, Bart used this chance to let loose a barrage of missiles at them. Witnessing this scene, Maya shouted in worry, “Vincent, look out!” Vincent was the first one to wake up from his stupor. The barrel on the Gatling gun started to spin and Vincent unleashed a hail of bullets to defend himself from the attack. The resulting counterattack created a large explosion that blocked the view from either side.
When the explosion was mostly cleared, the Nike began firing its beam rifle. Seeing this, Anna counters by firing from her rifle blade. Yolanda had to stop attacking Vincent in order to avoid being attacked by Anna. “Vincent, over here. We’re getting out of here.” Vincent noticed the attack from Nike stopped when Anna called out to him. Vincent followed her lead and flew towards a corridor with her. While he flew behind Anna, Vincent had to avoid the attacks from Yolanda. “Come one, Yolanda. We’re going after them. We can’t let them gang up on Mark.” The Sky Raider and the Nike gave chase and followed the Jakqoo V and Rosenkavalier into the corridor.
Outside the colony, Justin was having a difficult time with Mark. Each time he fired his torpedoes, and rockets, Mark would easily manoeuver around them before destroying them with his excellent marksmanship. When the Mantaraia flew by, the Leomightas was able to easily destroy the Mantaraia’s primary weapon, the tri shooter. When the Leomightas destroyed the tri shooter, it immediately drew its sword and dashed towards the Mantaraia. Seeing his enemy approaching him, Justin pulled out the spear from the fin of the manta ray and charged towards the Leomightas.
The two frames clashed, head-on. A large amount of energy was expelled when the two clashed. Mark grinded his teeth, “I heard about you from Bart. As expected of someone who came from there.” Justin stared at the screen in frustration, “Our power output is evenly matched!? But, I’m not giving in.” The two continued to clash when Justin noticed a sudden change. Up on the balcony, Alex’s friend commented, “Alex personally made that. It’ll take a lot more than that to destroy it. You’re still far away from being her match, Justin.” The beam emission on the Leomightas’ sword intensified and instead of clashing with the Mantaraia, it began cutting through the shaft of the spear.

When the spear broke, the Leomightas managed to leave a large cut on Mantaraia’s chest when it began drifting back. Using the opportunity while it was stunned, the Leomightas drew out its rifle and began firing on Justin’s Mantaraia. After receiving several shots, the lights inside Justin’s cockpit began flashing red. Indicating that he had sustained a lot of damage and that his frame was on the verge of being destroyed. While Mark was busy fighting against Justin, Yolanda contacted him, “Mark, you got two more coming your way. They’re almost at the exit.” Mark answered, “Got it. I see them.” The cannon on the Leomightas’ back detached itself and the frame grabbed it and took aim. “Hyper Cannon, ready to fire.” Anna tried to contact Justin but found that she was unable to, “Something’s wrong with Justin. Vincent, we need to get out of the colony, immediately." Unbeknownst to the two frames exiting the giant space station-like structure, a cannon was aimed at them and poised to fire.
“Locked on to the target. Hyper Cannon, FIRE!” Mark pulled the trigger and the Leomightas fired the hi-powered particle cannon. However, just as the cannon was about to fire, the Mantaraia flew towards the frame with a beam sword in its hand, “I’m not going to let you!” screamed Justin. Mark screamed in retaliation, “That’s my line. Out of the way.” Mark had the Leomightas change the angle of the cannon. It was now pointed at the Mantaraia. Seeing this, Justin detached the backpack before he continued to try and stop the cannon. Unfortunately, he did not make it in time and almost half of the frame received the full force of the attack.
After shooting the Mantaraia, Mark willed the cannon and moved the beam in the direction of the Rosenkavalier and Jakqoo V. Vincent stared at the beam that was fired and headed his way, “What the heck is that?” he exclaimed. “A particle beam cannon. Vincent, we need to get out of here. If that thing hits us, we’re toast.” The Jakqoo V and Rosenkavalier flew away from the incoming beam that was moving in their direction. Mark screamed, “You’re not going anywhere.” He was then alerted to an incoming attack. “Huh?” The Mantaraia, half destroyed came flying in and cleaves the cannon in two with its beam sword, resulting in a large explosion.
Just as Anna and Vincent were running away from the attack, they noticed that it had stopped. Angrily, the Leomightas drew its sword and stabbed the already damaged Mantaraia. “How dare you! I almost had them. Just give up already!” Inside his cockpit, Justin sneered, “Gotcha!” The realization dawned on Mark too late. The Mantaraia had its beam sword pointed at the Leomightas’ body. The beam extended to its full length and stabbed through the frame. Mark was surprised, “You, you, you’d use a suicide move just to destroy my frame. I thought you were the weakling that got kicked out of that team?” Justin sneered, “I am that weakling. But I’ve learned a few things since then. Like not giving up when your frame can still move!” The two frames exploded in a ball of fire.

In the world of Nirn, on one of the continents, Tamriel, at the northernmost province of the continent, Skyrim, there was peace. With dragons coming back from the dead, vampires going out of their caves, assassins and thieves running wild, how can Skyrim have her peace when even her own children are bickering amongst themselves? But this is not a tale about Skyrim, this is a tale spun for something else.
