《W.A.R.F.R.A.M.E.》Chapter Thirty Eight: Team Training Part 6

Having awakened from his stupor, Vincent readied himself to face the large oversized machine dragon. The Frost Drake roared and flies over the battle area. It stretches out its upper arms before spinning around. Seeing the incoming attack, Frank gave his order, “Everyone, head to the edge of the battle area. That’s the only way to avoid the attack. Just lean against the barrier.” Seeing the large object flying so close to them, Vincent and Justin followed Frank’s orders without question. Anna, having experienced the boss battle before, reacted immediately to avoid the attack. After the boss made one pass across the battle area, it flew higher above it with its back facing the four pilots and launched another barrage of missiles. Seeing the missiles, Vincent shouted to his teammates, “Scatter!” The four frames moved around the area to avoid the missiles.
Vincent and Justin did their best to dash around the battle area to avoid the attack, but Frank and Anna did not share the sentiment. When the Frost Drake used this attack, they immediately ran to the closes inactive missile that was stuck to the ground and pulled them out. Frank and Anna held the missiles in their hands and aimed them at the Frost Drake. “Ready?” Frank asked, “Ready,” Anna nodded. “Pull the cord!” Frank gave his order and Predator and Rosenkavalier respectively pulled the cord that was attached to the missiles and the thrusters started flaring up. They let go of the missiles and it hit the back of the Frost Drake as it flew above them.
Frank looked at the boss’ health bar and cursed, “Damnit! We didn’t get the timing right.” Another hail of missiles once again fell upon them. “Frank, we need to get moving,” said Anna. The two of them then joined Vincent and Justin. They ran around the battle area to avoid the missiles. A few of them struck the missiles that were stuck in the ice and caused a bigger explosion. Justin got caught up in it and suffered quite a bit of damage.

Vincent helps Justin up after he was sent flying by the explosion. “Justin, are you okay?” Justin answers, “A little banged up, but I’ll be alright. Mantaraia can still fight.” Jakqoo V held out its hand to Mantaraia. Mantairaia takes the hand and is helped back to its feet. After bombarding the area with missiles, the Frost Drake once again floated just outside of the boundary of the battle area and kept its menacing red eyes on the four frames. It raised its two lower arms and aims the two guns in each hand at the battle area and pulled the trigger. Large spheres of energy were shot out from the weapons and headed in the direction of Vincent, Justin, Anna, and Frank.
As the attack got closer, Vincent noticed that several parts of the battle area had red circles on them. The circles appeared at the places where they had stood. Upon seeing this, Vincent told his team about his findings, “Guys, stay away from the circles on the ground. That’s where the attack will hit.” Frank comments, “We know, Vincent. We have to avoid the red targets, but make sure you stay away from the spear missiles. We can’t have those things exploding on us.”
Vincent asked as he was dodging attacks from the Frost Drake, “Why?” Anna answers him, “We need them for later.” After successfully avoiding the large energy spheres, the Frost Drake reloaded its guns. Frank, having already known the attack pattern of the boss after doing the mission countless times, warned his team. “It’s going with rapid-fire next. Make sure you don’t get hit by this one. It does a lot more damage.” Unfortunately, Frank spoke too late. The boss had already fired and Vincent got caught on the attack. It did not take long for him to already be in the red.

The Jakqoo’s body was full of cracks after receiving the attack. With one of the frames down, the Frost Drake began targeting the other three frames. Justin tries his best to outrun the rapid-fire beam weapon. But once again, he was caught in an explosion when one of the Frost Drake’s shots, hit the spear missile near him. The resulting explosion sent him slamming into the barrier, making him sustain even greater damage.
Seeing their teammates get damaged so badly, Frank and Anna went to help the two almost broken-down frames. Frank switched the slot on his controls until it reached a green wrench labeled repair kit. He pulled the trigger on it and a wrench exuding green energy appeared in Predator’s hand. Frank presses the hand against Vincent’s Jakqoo. The Jakqoo was then covered in a green aura. Inside the cockpit, Vincent saw that his health had somewhat improved. It was no longer in the red. “Frank, what was that?” Vincent asked. Frank sighs in relief that Vincent was still able to fight and pulls him up, “Repair kit. Really good stuff, but only available on offline mission mode.” When Anna reached Justin, his unit also exuded a green aura, “Are you okay?” Justin answers, “Yeah, I’m alright. I just hadn’t needed to use one of those in a while. Honestly, I didn’t think the boss would be this strong.” Anna comments, “It hasn’t gone into its berserk mode yet. They’ll be plenty of time to worry about the damage it can do then.”
After surviving the barrage of attacks from the Frost Drake’s guns, Vincent and Justin calmed down and readied themselves for another round with the boss of the stage. The Frost Drake, after finishing its attack with its dual guns, flew up into the clouds. Seeing this, Frank warned the rest of his team, “Get ready. When I give the signal, I want everyone to leap into the air.”
Just when Frank delivered the message to everyone, a large burning meteor descend. The dark clouds revealed a hole through it as the meteor made its way down vertically onto the battle area, “NOW!” Frank shouted. All four members of Silver Vanguard ignited their thrusters and flew up into the air just as the meteor hit the ground. The impact sent a shockwave throughout the entire area. When the dust settled, Vincent and Justin saw that a meteor did not strike the ground, instead, it was the Frost Drake.
Seeing this scene, Frank sneered, “Alright guys, give him hell.” Frank launched his missile bit and beam bit and they began circling around the Frost Drake and unleashing a barrage of attacks, annoying it to no end. Frank, on the other hand, held his rifle firmly in his hands, took aim, and pulled the trigger. He did not stop firing. Anna, on the other hand, launched her blade bits and commanded them to attack. They flew around the Frost Drake and leaving it with small scratches. Anna herself willed the Rosenkavalier to shoot at it with her sword rifle while lashing it with her heat rod. Seeing how Frank and Anna were laying on the attack, Vincent and Justin decided to join in. “Eat this, you overgrown lizard,” said Vincent as he fired his launcher, missile pods, and Gatling gun. Justin fired from his tri shooter and torpedoes before firing the mounted beam cannons.

Sage ▸ Stiles Stilinski [Book One]
"You do realize that I'm supposed to tell you when you're throwing yourself into a dangerous situation and that doing this will probably get you killed, right?" "I don't need you to take care of me, Sage." "Says the werewolf that fell into the floor." Sage Connelly was notoriously known for the fire that killed her entire family when she was only ten years old. Granted, that name held importance for an entire year before people eventually forgot about the Connelly's and the other family involved in the fire, the Hale's. Nearly six years later, when the little girl is not so little anymore, Sage comes back with more than just a leather jacket hanging on her shoulders. She comes back with a personality distinctly different from what her old friends remembered, not only stunning Jackson Whittemore into silence but efficiently taking away Scott McCall and Stiles Stilinski's ability to talk about the dead body found in the woods the night before. Even more, the bite on Scott's body that held an importance only two people in town could help him with: Sage, to her dismay, was one of them. When Derek Hale calls upon her help, giving her the title of Scott McCall's personal babysitter, she's inevitably forced to tag along with the boy's trusty side-kick. The introverted and overly, well, intimidating qualities that the blonde had lead Stiles Stilinski into an unfathomable struggle of convincing himself that Sage Connelly was just a crush, and that Lydia Martin would forever be the one holding his heart. That lasted as long as the one-way conversation the boy had with the strawberry blonde in the middle of a hospital. His downward spiral leads him directly into the arms of a stubborn, damn blonde that was confident she didn't need a boy in her life that was still tripping over an elementary school crush.
