But out of nowhere, evolving or pulling out a new power just because you can doesn't make any damn sense! Even though I experienced an evolution of my ability, at least I was fighting desperately against hundreds of goblins and even came close to dying several times!

I crawl on the burnt ground to avoid the smoke from harming Kawaii, and the evolved bull doesn't see me.

Once I'm close enough, I place Kawaii in his respective spot and pull out a sponge bomb, aiming for a place where I can put out the fire and draw the evolved bull's attention.

The sponge bomb screams in the sky and then explodes and releases the water inside. During that process, the evolved bull turns its head in the direction of the sky while I take a moment to run in its direction and perform an ambush.

So I run as fast as I can; when I'm 5 meters away, the bull turns his head and sees me as I'm running in his direction. Still, the bull takes a few seconds to react due to that surprise, which I take advantage of to slide and get closer to his jaw.

The evolved bull reacts and raises its front legs to crush me with its weight, but it is already too late.

2 hours passed since the fight, and I finally managed to hunt another 28 bulls and get another stat boost, which increased (HP/MP/Stamina +10 - Strength+2).

The reason why it took so long is that I had bad luck. The first thing was that there were not many bulls nearby, so I had no choice but to go deeper into the forest to find them. The second thing was that many pairs of bulls forced me to look for other bulls.

The other reason was that while I was fighting with the bulls and cutting off their heads, I practised my reflexes and coordination. As soon as I made the cut on their head, I would quickly jump back to try to dodge their charge, which didn't always work, and I had to use my sword to support the charge.

But all that effort was worth it because now I have a 50% chance of cutting his head and dodging his charge, it's not much, but at least I save myself the trouble of drinking 1-2 potions each time. I was already getting tired of going to the bathroom every now and then.

In any case, it's already getting dark, and I'm far away from the city, so I'll have to spend the night outside. I should look for a safe and easy place to defend, like a cave or a big tree. Luckily there's a mountain a few meters from here. Maybe there's a cave.

It is not a strong monster, but it is annoying when fighting. If you are not prepared, it can easily blind you and leave you vulnerable to the attacks of other monsters.

But, even so, I think I could hunt it... no... it's better not to do it, it's not because I can't, but because I can't carry the body of this one in the inventory, and if I kill it and leave its corpse, it may attract other stronger monsters, for the moment I'm limited to hunt at most C-rank monsters.

But when I get my new sword and seal the life devourer, I will have no problem facing these monsters. Who knows, maybe I can even face C+ rank monsters without difficulty.

It has been 3 hours since I started searching for the crystal fox. So far, I have not found any trace of it. In the lake I found nothing and in the mountains less, maybe it is in an area that is not visible, like a hidden grotto, but if so, where is it?

Or maybe this fox is from another continent. While it was being transported, it escaped and began to explore the surroundings. Maybe that is why it has not found any.

After 1 hour of searching exhaustively and thoroughly, I found a burrow in a mountain hidden by some bushes. If I wasn't checking the lower part of the mountain, I wouldn't have found this entrance.

Now I need to perform an important step: to make sure that the fox is inside and prevent it from escaping. I will use the two blinding grenades that I have left. If everything goes well, I can seal the fox without much trouble and escape.

Otherwise, I will have to develop another way to catch it.
