Okay, let's start our second day.
The usual routine; get up, shower, change and go out to eat, all normal, only this time, as I head in the direction of the academy, I no longer enter through the main doors but now go to the building on the right to enter through another door.
Hello Bob. Bob: Hi Marco, you're early. Yes, you know what they say, the early bird doesn't get fired. Bob: I could swear that's not the correct phrase. I know, but the guy upstairs wouldn't help me clean the floors, so I changed it. Bob: You're right. He won't even help me with the paperwork, hahaha.
With that small talk, I say goodbye to Bob. After I helped him complete that tedious paperwork, I became friends with him, so you could tell we share the bond of partners doing a boring job.
I'm going to the warehouse to grab my cleaning cart and change into my work uniform. Once that's done, I leave the warehouse and enter through the back of the first building.
Indis: Good morning. How did you appear behind me without making a sound? Indis: *smiles* Because I wanted to surprise you. Well, you did surprise me. It's even scary to think you could appear behind me without making a sound. Indis: Did I scare you? If you appear behind someone without making a noise like a ghost, you will scare me. Indis: Hehe.
I take out the mop and start cleaning the wooden floors, with the difference that behind me, Indis is watching and talking.
Indis: Mr. Marco, I have a problem. So do I, and I don't brag about it. Indis: I mean sonic pulse ability. It might help me. It depends. Indis: Depends on what? It depends on whether I can help you. Indis: Well, it's about the sound, I tried to lower and increase its strength, but I didn't see any improvement. Can you help me? It depends. Indis: It depends on what? On whether I want to or not. Indis: And you don't want to. Well, yes, why fool you. Indis: And if I help you with the cleaning. Nah, you better buy me a meal, and I'll do it. Indis: Deal. Perfect.
The deal is completed while I continue cleaning, but as the problem of her ability requires a lot of time, I don't have the chance to help her now, so we leave it for later.
I continue cleaning while Indis follows me behind. When we get to the hallway where the classrooms are, some whispers start to come from the students, but I ignore them, I already decided that I would go my way, so I don't care anymore.
Indis: It seems they are talking about us. It seems so. Indis: You don't mind? If it was yesterday, yes, but I already decided I wouldn't care what they told me. Whatever has to happen will happen. Indis: You're weird. And I should care about that? Indis: I think so. By the way, what food do you want in exchange for the instruction? Mmm, I want... Hey, who do you think you are?!

Before I can say what I want, a tall student with short silver-colored hair appears and looks at me with sharp, disdainful eyes.
I don't know what's wrong with this skinny guy, so I stare at him until he speaks up again.
What's the matter, are you deaf that you can't understand words?! Mmm?
I set the mop aside, walked over to him, picked him up as if he were a child, released him into the classroom, and closed the door.
As I was saying, I want some marinated meat and pineapple slices for today. Indis: Huh? I say I want some marinated meat and pineapple slices to eat, ah I also bring a grill. Indis: ... Do you know what you just did? Yes, and I don't care. Indis: That boy is...
Before Indis finishes speaking, the classroom door bursts open, and the student I just treated like he was a spoiled brat appears.
Geez, he looks like he wants to tear me apart, and from the look on his face, I can tell he's angry. I think if I could shoot laser beams out of his eyes, I'd burn myself right now.
You... Me? Don't you know who I am?!
I turn my head in Indis' direction and ask him.
Hey Indis, who is this skinny guy with a star complex? *Pfff* *Pfff* *Pfff* *Pfff* *Pfff*
At that, I hear some students in the classrooms holding back their laughter. Even Indis holds back enough to be able to answer me.
Indis: It's Aron, a D-ranked adventurer, and his father is the academy's monster biology teacher. Ah! Aron: Now what garbage, are you afraid? Not really. Why would I be afraid? Aron: What, can't you understand the situation, floor cleaner? The only thing I understand is that you are too proud, which bothers me a little.
While it's not a bad thing to have some pride, it becomes annoying when it gets past a certain point, and this guy's ego is too inflated. Why is he yelling at me? Did I do something to you?
Wait, I think he's over it.
I get it now. Aron: You still have some brains to know you're wrong. You're jealous because I'm talking to Indis. Aron: What?! Indis: What?! Students: What?! Don't worry, she's only following me because she wants me to solve some doubts about his sonic pulse skill, so you don't have to worry about anything. Even so, I recommend you not to behave like that. If it were someone else, I would punch you in the face, so don't be so impulsive.
After saying that, everyone is silent. I guess it's because of what I said, but it is true because if you continue with that behavior, it will cause someone to punch you in the face.
Aron: ...how dare you... What? Aron: How dare a scumbag as you give me advice!!!!!
With that shout, Aron pulls out a medieval ax and attacks me with fury, but I can easily dodge his attack with a simple swing to the left.
His ax falls with so much force that it smashes my cleaning cart and gets stuck in the floor's wood. Seeing that this guy doesn't calm down, I pull out my wooden sword and hit the flat side of his wrist to make him drop the ax.

The blow works, and he drops his ax, so I quickly grab his arms and pin him to the ground. Perfect, the brat was neutralized. Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with this idiot? Do some of the students behave like this?
If so, I should quit and read all the books I can and get away from this place as soon as possible, *sigh* but first, I have to take this whippersnapper to be appropriately disciplined.
Indis! Indis: Huh? Yes! Where is the discipline room? Indis: Discipline room? I mean the area where students are punished for behaving this way. Indis: It's on the third floor. Thank you.
I put away the ax that Aron used to attack me and take him against his will to the discipline room.
He hurls a bunch of insults at me which draws the attention of the surrounding students and teachers, who watch as I drag Aron to the third floor.
I pass by the secretary's area, so I go in to get her to tell me where the discipline room is.
Good morning. Do you happen to know where the discipline room is? Hey, who is that student? Aron: LEAVE ME BEHIND, YOU BASTARD, HOW DARE A DON NOBODY as YOU TREAT ME LIKE THAT! Jesus, give me a second.
I took out the rope in my inventory and used it to tie Aron's arms and legs. I also managed to cover his mouth to stop him from screaming, making him look like a mummy.
There, he finally shut up. I should have tied him up before going upstairs, but let's get to the point: this is Aron. I was cleaning the hallway while talking with the student Indis when suddenly this brat started to scream. After a verbal exchange, he took out his ax and attacked me. I stopped him, and I wanted to send him to the classroom to receive a punishment for his behavior, so I thought I should inform you what happened. I see... let me escort him. Oh, thank you very much.
With the problem explained, I, the secretary, and a gagged Aron go to the punishment room. At that moment I ask the secretary about this situation.
One doubt, why did this brat go crazy? I thought it was because he was talking to Indis, and he was jealous, but it doesn't seem to be that by his way of acting. Can you tell me what's going on? *Sigh* it's a delicate situation. Some students have started to behave that way just because they have the power or ability of a D-rank adventurer. Some do more minor things like spy on the girls, while others try to assert their strength by attacking academy employees. So the reason why there is a janitor vacancy is that a jerk like Aron attacked him, and he couldn't do anything about it, so he quit the job, right? Yes, he did. Why doesn't the director of the academy do anything? The principal had to go on a mission to transport A-ranked materials, and the teachers barely reached D-rank. So, the reason they asked for a D+ rank instructor is to deter troublesome students. Exactly, but apparently, it didn't work. I see. Now I understand this.
When we finish talking, we arrive at the punishment room. It is a room similar to a cell. Only it is white. Now I feel like a guard taking a prisoner to his cell.
I started to untie his arms and legs, but when I removed the rope from his mouth, he started saying all the rude things known to man and some known to monkeys.
Excuse me, Miss Secretary. You can call me Siri. Roger that, Miss Siri, can I throw Aron into the cell like a drunk? And, if possible, in a very violent way? Siri: This... Aron: WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU ASKING?! GET YOUR DIRTY HANDS OFF ME! Can I do that?! Thank you!
Without giving him time to react, I quickly throw Aron with all my might into the punishment cell, his head smashing into the wall opposite and causing him to pass out from the impact.
That's it, parked. Siri: Why did you throw him? He wouldn't stop talking, and I wanted to get even. Siri: He's not dead, is he? Siri: He's fine. He just passed out.
I look at Aron's motionless body again to check.
Well, I'm pretty sure he's okay. Siri: *sigh* forget it, now I need to fill out a report of what happened. Okay, then I'll go to the library, see you. Siri: Mr. Marco, you need to get back to work. But that jerk destroyed my cleaning cart, so I can't work. Siri: *sigh* well, you have the day off today. You'll be back to work tomorrow. Thank you very much. Siri: But at least throw the debris from your cart in the trash. No problem, see you.
With the incident resolved, I'm on my way to clean up what's left of my cart and then head to the library.
As I walk, I also check out the ax I stole, I say, seized from Aron.
[Steel and Bronze Axe]
[Description: A heavy ax that is powerful but difficult to use, only people with big muscles can use it as if it were a pencil, if you can't use it, then go to the gym].
I thought that it would be a powerful weapon because of its color, but it turned out to be a standard ax. Well, I didn't expect much either. In any case, I could sell it.
Once I get to the second floor, I find a crowd in the area where my fight with Aron happened, and they seem to be discussing something.
Fuck, the problems don't seem to end...
