"How are you feeling?" Sidhe Carmella asks casually as we stand at the threshold of the door to her personal training chamber in the basement of her manor.

"I feel fine Sidhe Camrmella thank you, " I respond casually but respectfully trying not to admire her eery beauty too much with the new sense I now know to be almost undetectable to other people.

So far its only the sidhe fae that feel it when I looks at them closely enough with this dimensional awareness, I especially try not to look at the frosty looking Sidhe Vevina very closely, I'm always weary of the silent ones most. Before I knew she could feel my sight on her I studied every facet of her, thinking myself clever by looking at her most closely when she was standing behind me or outside my visual range.

It was two days later when an amused Namid pointed out that they could all tell what I was focusing on that I realized I've been practically openly staring the entire time I've been here. The silent sidhe has yet to say a word to me still but ever since I've been coming to Carmella for pointers in magic with Mira and the two fae women Mira trains with she has been present.

''The correct title is Daoine Carmella,'' the nondescript man seems to have materialised out of nowhere to tell me that in a grave humourless tone.

''Of course, thank you for the correction Majordomo Anos,'' I bow my head inaknowledgement. I loose absolutely nothing by being polite and differential here, just one of these being are stronger than my whole family combined against them. What's with the majordama anyways, is he even a sidhe or fae, is there even a distinction in being or is it just a matter of personal power? Again my focus is pulled to the dainty, elegant white haired create whose skin glitters as though crystals are embedded within.

My fascination with Vevina is apparently obvious and when Mira figured it out she just snorted and told Kuyoki about it as soon as we got home that day. I got an odd look from my first mate that day, one I couldn't decipher before being given a nice foot massage by my pregnant mate and we began verbalizing plans of building another home.

Since my Awakening my feet have been very sensitive and itchy a lot of the time, its strange for an Awakened to have an itch of any kind so Kuyoki and I have been massaging each other's feet regularly taking the time to talk t each other more. I think she feels a bit guilty that her clan believes there should be no intercourse when the woman is pregnant, I'm yet to get any action since I Awakened yet my sexual urge is itching to be scratched.

It's frustrating I will admit, I seem to be perpetually horny or at the edge of being horny since my Awakening and I think it has something to do with the mana. But Kuyoki is out for the next 4 months of her pregnancy, Ingwe is currently undergoing what her people call moonblood and Mira, well Mira and I have a lot to figure out before we formalize anything between us.

"You seem a bit tense, be at ease Warrior Sachihiro." Daoine Sidhe Carmella says nonchalantly before sitting and continuing with the magic explanation.

"Usually a human will have an affinity for single type of mana, which will be for whatever their specific branch of magic is. For instance, a fire mage has mana that can only be manifested as fire. It may be different kinds of fires for different people but it will be fire all the same, or the underlying principle for the creation of fire but that's usually after Archmage level," Carmella says with a wave of her hand and goes back to the meat of her explanation.

I'm struggling to understand some of the concepts she points at but the gist I get. Different affinities, single type for each person, unique to the individual's use.

She has done that numerous times since I started coming here 3 days ago. She mentions what I feel is a huge fundamental secret to elemental power and then just brushes over it as though it were some common piece of knowledge. Or she will make a reference to Grandmaster Magician level or even Archmage level casts as though it's just a stage that is easily attainable.

"From what I've been able to garner about your mana it hasn't yet decided what it wants to be. You need to keep up with your meditation and I will get you more mana stones for you to drain whilst your mana is still unsettled and malleable. It's important we get your none-existent foundation as solid as possible if you are ever to be anything besides a dabbler when it comes to elemental power."

I bow in acknowledgement and appreciation, this is not generosity I'm fully aware and weary but ma says its more dangerous to reject their favour right now than to accept. Not that I'm complaining.

I've been Awakening for a long time now and because I am yet to fully consolidate everything still I have been avoiding sparing in the Awakened Arena or any other form of testing myself in front of others. I need to find out my own limits first before I face off against anyone else lest I do irreparable damage to either myself or my opponent.

My limits are yet to be determined so I'm focusing on the mana and magic part of my Awakening until I can get a handle on the design the 'universe' went for when remaking me. My feet seem to be primarily strange these past few days since I got back from the trip with the girls.

"Anyways though it is too early for you to learn any type of elemental manipulation before it becomes apparent what your powers affinity is you may still learn mana manipulation techniques. I am too busy to take you on personally but I will recommend you to Sergei, one of my descendants." Sidhe Carmella says proudly.

I know Sergei or at least I know of him. He is a part elven fae rumoured to be nearly a thousand years old and a pure druid and plant-based Elementalist on the peak of becoming a sidhe. I'm not sure what it entails to become a sidhe but if it takes someone of Sergei's reputation nearly a thousand years then these creatures must be powerful beyond normal measure. Maybe any measure...

"He is in need of a new pet project to sink his teeth into and keep himself occupied at this point in his growth. If he doesn't take you he should recommend you to another good teacher for someone at your level. I wi-"

She suddenly stops speaking then turns to fully face the other fae woman present in the room. Which sort of gives me an excuse to put my attention on her again as well. They are speaking mind to mind that much is obvious, but I'm still curious as to why I'd never heard Sidhe Vevina speak out loud before.

Carmella looks back to me with amusement clear on her face as her eyes sparkle. "Vevina here will take you on and conduct your training personally, you should be honoured. I will leave you two to get acquainted and finalize your own arrangement. Come see me with your progress often, remember our agreement, I will support you as long as you let me observe the progress of your soul and you threaten nothing of mine."

With that she rises smoothly from her wooden chair and walks out of the room like a silent breeze, not making a single sound as she walks. Now that I'm at this level of power I'm at I think I should at least be able to gauge the power difference between me and a sidhe but I still get nothing.

Not even with my new senses do I get any information about the remaining sidhe silently watching me coolly. Hair as white as snow cascades around her wrapping to her waist adding to the mystic of her, even the clothes she is wearing and anything within her immediate vicinity is silent to me. Our eyes meet and her stern face is the only thing keeping me from visibly ogling this exotically beautiful creature.

I frown as I realize that I am getting something from some of my senses pertaining to her, yes her presence/energy is detectable to me faintly. Is that what has attracted me to this sidhe in particularly 'cause to be fair they are all so physically beautiful that it can't just be looks that attract me to one over another.

We quietly stare at each other for a few minutes and I bask in this uniquely rare opportunity to study a sidhe as much as I possibly can. I find her completely and utterly flawless and I can understand the rumours that the sidhe design their own bodies. She is the shortest of the Paradisum 9, the sidhe that have made their home here.

How powerful are these creatures really, are they at the imperium level of power, are they stronger? Gorr seems to hint that they are but he never really specified anything. What does he see with those eyes of his I wonder now that I have such a different perspective on what sight actually is.

"Do you find me appealing?" She projects to me directly in Universal.

"Yes." I immediately respond back out loud, my body shivering for some reason at the feel and sound of her inside me.

"You will be my bed partner during our training, is this acceptable to you?" She asks smoothly.
