"Oh shit!" Jack thought as he saw Devin sprinting across the cage and leaping into the air with his right arm cocked back. Jack quickly raises his left arm and attempet to move his head back only to find that Devin had slipped his defence and landed his shot on Jack's face. Jack's head recolies back as he stumbles backwards until he was pressed up against the cage. Sturggling to recover, Jack throws his hands up until they're covering his face and his arms are covering the upper part of his torso. Devin dosen't back off and presses his attack to keep Jack on his toes. Devin throws what seemed to be a complete random set of a fighting style, from haymakers, to jabs and to Jack's suprise a knee to his stomach forcing him to bend over in pain. "What the.." Jack thought right before he realised what Devin was about to do. Devin was about to finish this fight before Jack even had a chance, Jack quickly turned his head to the side and braced for what he knew what was coming next. Jack watched from the side of his eyes for Devin's knee but it never came, Jack turned his face back down only to see a fist coming closer to him. Jack dropped to ground after Devin's fierce uppercut, blood start flowing out of Jack's nose as he rolls onto his back to prevent the referee from stopping the fight. Jack's arms are covering up his face as Devin is on top of Jack doing what's most commonly called ground and pound. After what seemed like forever for Jack, the one thing he's happy to hear the bell. When the bell sounds, Devin jumps off Jack and starts walking over to his corrnor with a grin on his face. Jack manages to get his feet underneath him and stumbles over to his corner to find Tyson standing there with a wooden stool and a bottle of water.
"Nice use of your nose to block that uppercut." Tyson said with a smirk right before he put the stool on the canvas. "What happend with Devin?" Jack asked with a sarcastic tone in his voice. "Dude has been on a high protien diet for the past eight months and his girlfriend is trying to get him to go vegan for awhile now." Tyson said with a monotone voice. "Heard if he won this fight, his girl would stop trying to convince him and they would have fun." Tyson said as he opend the bottle of water and handed it to Jack. "Come on man! It's not even cold, what kind of place are you running with warm drinks. Besides what do you mean by them having fun?" Jack asked with a slight amount of annoyance in his voice. Right before the Tyson was about to respond, the ten second warning was announced and everyone but Devin and Jack were leaving the cage. Jack followed Tyson and asked him the same question. "Wild animals getting wild." Tyson said with a smile on his before turning around to walk down the steps that lead to ground. Jack chuckled to himself as he slowly spun himself around to get ready for the next round. Right before the referee restarted the fight, he heard a voice he hasen't heard in a long time from the ocean of voices that surround the cage. Jack tried to hear what the voice was saying, but the only word he was able to hear was backfist. "Sure, why not. Already got my ass handed to me, lets shoot for embaressment while we're at it." Jack thought to himself as he threw his heavy arms up to tell the referee he's ready. The fight start's again and Jack walked over to his opponet before deciding what the best approach should be.

"Devin, I heard what happend. I'm really sorry to hear the news but I think going vegan would be the best for you." Jack said right before Devin angerly threw a powerful right cross. Unlike last round Devin is a bit slower in this round and Jack noticed. Jack leaned back and forced Devin's shot to hit nothing but air. "Now!" The same voice in the crowd said and Jack quickly made a tight fist and spun quickly around before extending his arm and having his fist meet Devin's face with all of his strength that he could summon. Just like that, Devin was heading down to canvas. Jack knew he was done, no noise, no reaction's and laying face down on the canvas as the referee gets between them to save Devin from further damage.
"Nice man, where the hell did you learn that?" Tyson asked with a smirk on his face as he hands Jack a glass of just ice. "Really?" Jack said as he took the glass. "You're the worst host i've ever known. Besides are you happy that you lost your bet?" Jack said with a monotone voice and started walking over to where one of the staff personal were holding his clothes. "Actually, I placed my money on you Jack." Tyson said while Jack took the clothes from the staff member. "I knew you would win, I just wanted Devin to give you wall to wall counseling before I told you I was going to join either way." Tyson said with a gleeful attidue. Jack simply coninued getting dressed and was about to make a sarcastic comment back to Tyson before he looked at the staff remeber and realizsed he had forgotten about the voice that he heard in the crowd. Jack quickly spun around to look Tyson in the eye, Tyson picked up that Jack was about to ask a serious question and dropped whatever banter they were having. "Tyson, what kind of event was this?" Jack asked with a serious tone and a neutral face. "This was an invintational event only, why?" Tyson asked before he realized what Jack had put togeather. "Tyson, we had an uninvited guest." Jack said before he looked out the cage to see a silhouette running out the building. "I got it!" Tyson yelled as he started to give chase. "No, stop!" Jack yelled, causing Tyson to stop dead in his tracks. "We'll figure it out who it is later, but for now I need you to go to the safehouse. I'm having everyone rendezvou there before I do the briefing." Jack said as he started to leave the cage and climb down the short steps. "Before you go, help me across the street and into a hotel room. Devin's going to be pissed when he wakes up and I don't want him to go looking where I normally rest my head" Jack said as Tyson threw his arm over his shoulder to help carry him.

"Hey question for you Tyson." Jack asked as they walked out the door. "Yeah Jack?" Tyson said. "How much money were you willing to lose on me?" Jack said with a rasp breath as stuggles to remain standing. "Let's just say I'm back in the green my friend." Tyson said with a small smile on his face as they walked into the lobby of the hotel. "How may I..." The woman behind the counter was saying right before she looked at Jack's face. "Yes I need a room for this cripple, he dosen't know when to shut up." Tyson said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet to pay for the room. "Room three fourty two sir, please keep the noise down and have a good night." the woman said as she looked at Jacks face with disgust. Tyson and Jack spin around and start walking to the elevator. "Not going to lie Jack, thought you were going to make an insult to that lady." Tyson said as he pressed the button in the elevator. "Tyson, I'm not sure if you noticed but that lady had a mole on her neck that looked like it was slowly moving upwards. I couldn't look away, I thought it would jump off her and attack us." Jack said with a cheery mode. Tyson simply smiled and helped Jack the rest of the way to his room. "Thanks Tyson, it's good to know that you're in and that you're no longer in financial debt." Jack said as they walked into the room. "Yeah whatever, if you have company over, don't get too wild." Tyson said right before he let go of Jack. "I'll see you at the safe house Jack." Tyson said as he startred making his way out of the room. Jack simply smiled and fell onto the cloud like bed before closing his eye's to go to sleep.

And this belief that I am, that evil is, enslaved by the dark night is humorous to say the least. Why would any creator make their pupil inept of withstanding the lighted world when this planet is covered in daylight for half of its life span? No, our Maker did not instill such restrictions for, up here on these earthly lands, we are the gods of prey. ~ Tristan There is only one rule vampires must follow--Bite Hard. It is forbidden for humans to know vampires exist so you can imagine Tristan Darkos's surprise when he finds one that knows what he is. The problem is when Tristan gets close to this human his blood turns to fire and the thirst that burns in his throat that should spell her doom twists until he's consumed by another need--one that is evocative, primitive, and...wrong.If Tristan doesn't figure out the mystery that is Kinley Shea Rylan, it is certain whatever dark force her honey blood is summoning forth will be the end of him and, possibly, the end of the world as we know it. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Author note: - This is an original work with my take on Vampires.
