《Dungeon of books》Terror of Tabatha - Chapter 38

Pov - Umbra
After that, the two men wrapped up their conversation with no new points that really interested me. Though now I at least know a new wave of adventurers are coming into me, and they don’t seem to be just probing me this time, so this will be fun. Oh! And I almost forgot about Tabatha, even though I know practically nothing about her, I can guess that she will be fascinating based off of the men's reactions to hearing her name. Though they did not give me any dates, they just said these things were going to happen, so I can guess that means it will either happen today or tomorrow. God, I can’t wait, I'm brimming with excitement at just the very thought of things like this happening! I should at least warn my kobolds about the incoming troubles.
I quickly move my consciousness inside the Demi-plane book, brimming with excitement. Ignoring all the kobolds and high kobolds, I make my way down to Drakekin fortress, to find Fus instructing Drakekin on swordsmanship.
Forming a mental connection between me and Fus I tell him, “Prepare for some opponents to arrive in the near future, thing are going to get interesting.”
Fus stops mid-swing hearing the message I sent, then only after just a second of processing, Fus shoat out, “Prepare for enemies, send the message up to the mines, keep a greater concentration up for patrols!”
Hearing Fus’s shout, all the Drakekin training with him split up to spread the word out to other Drakekin, and in just a few minutes all the Drakekin that were previously leisure about their duties were rigged and hyper-focus preparing for battle. Some of the Drakekin Ran up the tunnel to the mines and started passing the word around to the Drakekin and high kobolds up there. They did not inform the kobolds, but I’ll just chalk that up to them being so weak that it is not on their priority list.
Bringing my consciousness back to Fus I realize that he's giving out encouraging words to the Drakekin, “Though many of us may die, we must protect our land from these invaders coming to take it!” I think I missed some of it, “We may not know when they are coming, but with the warning from the Great Spirit we who would have once been surprised now have foreknowledge of their arrival!” Wow, I think they're definitely overblowing what I did, “And with Our blessing from the Great Spirit we will never be defeated!” And with those last words from Fus every Drakekin yelled in excitement and confidence at their upcoming victory.

Staying around for a few extra minutes, I find nothing more interesting going on, they just train more fiercely and guard with much more focus than they previously have been. So with all my interest drained, I bring my consciousness out of the Demi-plane, and to Akasha.
Akasha looks up from her book and says, “Yeah, I know, no need to tell me that Adventurers are coming.” Akasha then looks back at her book for a moment then as if something hit her she looks back up and continues, “You might want to look back at the entrance because things are going to get interesting.”
Listening to her words seriously, I look back to the building that now surrounds the entrance to my dungeon. Though when I arrive I’m surprised to find both the men who have previously left back huddling in the corner bickering about something. Obviously, I’m going to eves drop on what they're bickering about.
The big earring guy fiercely whispers to the bulky man, “You didn’t tell me that Tabatha was going to arrive so soon”
The bulky man also whispering response, “If I knew she was going to arrive so fast, I would not even be in this town!”
However, while the two are bickering I notice the door is opening, the two men also seem to notice this shutting both of them up and having them stand up tall and rigid, faces full of regret about who they're going to meet, though even I can infer that this is going to be Tabatha. Though, the person that comes in does not even fall into the top one hundred of what I would have guessed this person to look like. Tabatha herself is an overly muscled man with a jawline made of steel with his face covered in terrible makeup, fuzz from his beard starting to grow in tough you can practically call it a beard at this point, for god's sake their hair is not even long. There is nothing feminine about this monstrosity!
At the very same moment, she entered in, Tabatha's eyes locked onto the two men standing there stiffly. They stayed like that for several moments full of tension till Tabatha just disappears and then reappears right next to the two men swooning over them, with her butt sticking out and everything. She's acting like someone who is less than 200 pounds, but that is not going to work out, he’s at least in the 500-pound range maybe even heavier, and all that weight is made of muscle to boot. Wait, that's not the thing I should be analyzing at this moment, did Tabatha just move so fast that not even I could see her, or did she teleport? I can’t even tell the difference if it was shown to me side by side. So how in the hell am I supposed to analyze anything about that, I just can't, it is not in my toolset to work on it yet.

So I give up… What do you expect me to do, go through a breakthrough and suddenly gain some ultra-sight being able to see through reality on a whim, that is not how life works. I’m going to have to build up to something like that I can’t just gain that, or maybe I can. What do I know, I have been in this world for less than a year, and all of that time I have literally been under rocks! What was I doing again, Oh! Yeah, Tabatha.
Let’s see, Tabatha is currently… He is squatting down to have her head on the bulky man's chest, but he's like 7 foot 8 or something, they're not even close to the same height. So even if her head is on the man's chest, his ass is sticking out several feet, rubbing up against the big earring guy. But the two men who are standing still, though a kind of dread covering their faces, but also a look of depressing acceptance can also be seen. Though the pain of what Tabatha is doing to them is still clearly seen, increasing every second.
The first one to crack is the big earring guy as he says quickly, “Hey Tabatha since you have arrived so fast I'm going to go make the announcement that the dungeon is now open for business.” the words coming out so fast that it is barely legible, as he starts booking it towards the exit.
The bulky man stares at the big earring man as he lips out, “This was not part of the plan.” the big earring man who looked back and saws this also just lips out mutely, “Sorry but one must be sacrificed for the greater good.” but before the big earring man was even able to reach halfway to the door Tabatha was already grabbing his hand like a maiden in love and saying is a cheerful tone, “Well my beauty Man it would be a Shame if you went out on your own. So please allow me and this big hunk of BEEF to join you.” Tabatha says the last part biting her lip and moaning… I think I have been scarred.
Tabatha continues to flirt with the two men while walking out, but I just can’t bring myself to watch where they're going. I just can’t watch that anymore! The two men are being tortured, for god's sake! It’s inhumane! I pity whoever else catches Tabatha's eyes … Wait Tabatha staying in the building around my entrance! FUCK!

Everyone is a Superhero! Apart from me
Welcome to Loktharma, where everybody is a superhero from birth. That makes Eugene De Lavet the most special of them all. At eighteen years old, he still has no clue what his superpower is. Loktharma has never been a fair world. There are Worldbreakers who were born to brandish the power of the universe, warp time-space, destroy lands and continents. There are Craftmasters who control the elements and terrorize countries with their might and wits. There are Commoners who are only gifted with power for the finer arts, architecture, military arts, or small-scale elemental manipulation. Even in an unjust world like Loktharma, there is always one constant: everyone is assigned a Flair since birth; the power to do something extraordinary. And then there's Eugene. He's been running around in a secluded forest since birth, training and sparring his ass off. While he can wield a blade better than most at his age, he certainly can't throw a giant boulder using the power of his mind, or turn his skin into diamonds. He has no Flair, no purpose for leveling up his stats, and no idea why General Rizeni Baggardo keeps him confined inside a forest for eighteen years. At least until Lord Pyro—the Craftmaster of Tailiah—unleashes his fury on the forest, searching for a treasure Eugene doesn't even know exists. On a frantic escape for his life, Eugene starts to realize he was a part of something he's been completely oblivious to until now. Along with his companions, Melodi and Azra, he travels the land and unveils the secrets of the world. [The story will be told primarily through the lenses of three main characters, with occasional side character POV chapters. It also draws inspiration from Japanese shounen. So only proceed if you're cool with these aspects.]
