Title Gained
“Creator of Uniqueness”
This title grants you a greater understanding of creatures and what makes them unique in our eyes.
I stared blankly at the two notifications I gained when I exited the creation space. Now that I think about it, didn’t Akasha say that unique creatures are special or something? Also, how come kobolds are not unique is it because I created more than one, so if I were to create another NecroMass, the creature would no longer be unique. No, that also does not make since because currently Fus is the one and only Dragon kin, and he is not unique, so what makes a unique monster unique?
Ahh, this is above my pay grade for now, so I should only try to understand it later on. Wait, I just realized something. Instead of making a NecroMass, I could have made a skeleton dragon or even a ghost dragon. Sure, I may have not made a dragon yet, but the creation space is special, and it allows me to go beyond my limits. But let's just stick with what I have because I don’t want to go through another one of these waiting segments.
Nothing interesting happens when I’m waiting, it's always well waiting. Like seriously, I would like to go through a time skip or something, every single one of these waiting times. But I can’t do that, so I am just forced to suffer through this, while just staring off into empty space.
Oh shit, I might have spoken too soon, cause it seems like some people are heading down my stairs. I wonder what they will be like within my demi-plane, though they don’t really look like they're ready for an adventure, they… They! Their fucking politicians! This is even worse than waiting through days of boredom, now I have to listen to politics. What do they even plan to do, set a treaty with a kobold, or are they going to talk them to death?

Oh, I complained too long, and they have already opened the door into my library space, I’ll workshop the name. But this is the best entertainment I got for the time being, so I'm going to watch it.
They're just walking towards Akasha without any caution, unlike the real adventurers. Let's see what their plan of action is here. Oh! They seem to want to talk to Akasha, well that's not really that special cause all other parties did the exact same thing. Let's just stop this inner monolog and eavesdrop.
“Librarian, we would like to discuss the worlds that are held within the books, that can be found within this separate space.” politician one says with a face devoid of emotion.
“So, what about it,” Akasha says, completely disregarding them.
There is a visible reaction on the slightly overweight politician three, or are they, diplomats. Yeah, I completely miss judged them, they are not politicians they're diplomats. Where was I, oh yeah, diplomat three was getting irritated due to the disregard that Akasha is showing them.
But before diplomat three could reprimand Akasha, diplomat two held him back with a stare and diplomat one continued.
“We would like an explanation about the abyssal creature found within the mine, and we have concerns about whether or not there will be more of these creatures.” Diplomat one says with the same face.
Akasha looks like she is about to let out a sigh when she finally sets down the book she was reading. She then pauses for a moment, then an unperceivable smirk appears on her face, hell, even I can barely see it, and they're inside of me. She then replies, “the abyssal creature within the mine is completely optional to kill, and it is trapped there, so there is no need to worry about the men you're going to send in there. For whether or not there will be more of these abyssal creatures, that is for you to find out on your own.” Akasha then quickly picks up her voice and then fakes reading it, suppressing a smile for an unbeknownst reason that I really don't get. Was it because she gave them practically no information, or was it for a different reason. I may just not be that well versed in diplomatic discussions to understand it.

Diplomat one seems to want to continue this conversation, but then also lets out a sigh in irritation. He then walks away without replying to Akasha, and the two other useless diplomats then scuttle back to his side. Like, what were they here for, they were just taking up my space.
What a giant disappointment, this did nothing but waste time. What was their goal in all of this? Well, whatever it was, it obviously did not succeed. Hell, even Akasha seems to be… well she's reading, what else did I expect her to do. Now, what was I going to do? Hmm, Oh I know, I was creating my newest demi-plane, but I’m currently out of Mana. I know what I’m going to do, I'm going to make Fus do a ton of weird tasks to shed some of my boredom.
Several more days later
I can’t do this anymore, I just have to work on the demi-plane sure my Mana is close to being full, but the anticipation is killing me. I just can’t wait for it any longer, also Fus seems exhausted, and I would feel like a jerk to push him any further.
Likewise, I quickly move back to the creations space as I prepare to actually start the creation of my demi-plane.

Creating
Is it just me, or is the growth exponential when it comes to the size of my demi-plane. Wait stop Umbra, you need to pay attention because I’m down to my last Divine energy. I’m really hoping that I can gain some sort of insight into how divine energy is used and well how I can create more of it because I’m just too impatient. I quickly just spent all the divine energy I had, without care. Wait Umbra, stop this train of thought immediately, it's distracting you from the true thing you need to be focusing on!
After I yell at myself in my mind, I quickly focus all my senses on the process I’m about to witness. First off, the golden glowing energy splits into several pieces, the largest of which goes to a specific location and then expands like a star. However, while it getting larger the light it produces begins to diminish, and by the time I’m able to see what has been happening it is too late and a bubble that seems to hold existence is already formed. However, the process is not over yet because the instant the light disappears the nothingness begins to attack the bubble fiercely, or at least that's the best way to describe it. The bubble seems to shrink for a bit, but then another segment of divine energy seems to mix with the shrinking bubble, spreading translucent runes all over it. I immediately try to study the runes more closely, but it feels like any detail I gain just slips through my mind with ease, it also does not seem to affect anything within my mind, but it does seem to affect the nothingness because it looks the nothingness has stopped its assault for an unknown reason. The last piece of the divine energy seems to condense into this… this, this seed of some kind because when I look at it all I get is the feeling of a budding consciousness or something that gives awareness. Don’t blame me, but these things are hard to describe. I just don’t have the vocabulary to truly describe what I see. But the seed of consciousness seems to have been laid within something I can’t perceive inside the demi-plane's bubble, then the seed just disappears from all my senses without a trace to be found.
Alright, now that is finished, let's at least count my gains from paying attention this time… Well, I got nothing.

A Tale From Azaad
Desperate and wandering, a young lord stumbles upon unknown knowledge that can help to overturn his peoples’ destiny. But can he rise to bring the prosperity his people need, or fall before it can ever take shape? AN: I hate writing synopses, so I'd recommend reading a few chapters before making a decision. Also, it's tagged as an isekai but those tropes don't appear. Warnings: I mention them, but there are a few chapters that are really gruesome. Furthermore, the innovations and advancements don't come into play until a lot later, though the framework for it all is built up early. Inspirations: South Asian history, Tales of a Reincarnated Lord and some of the histroical and kingdom-building stories on RR are inspirations for this work. If you enjoy politics, clever strategies, nation-building and technological advancement, then this story might interest you. Schedule: New chapter every Saturday at 3PM PST.
