Sylmare while dying over a stack of paperwork cursed the dungeon with all her might, because of how much back and forth she was doing with politics thanks to its creatures. Like, seriously, no one should be put through that much work, it literally torture. But with this much work weighing down her table, literally, Sylmare finds newfound respect towards her father, just don’t get things twisted she still hates the man.

But while Sylmare is dying, the dungeon that she has been cursing is having a different problem.

Pov - Umbra

Oh, my god! There is nothing to do! Umbra mentally shoats into his Demi-Plane.

My god, it's been a full week since the crappy adventurers died and no one else came in, not even for a check-up. I have even checked the surface and all I found was complete and udder lack of progress. All the workers have stopped working and the main building they have finished, I can’t even look through. My vision just stops around the god-damn thing. I even went to ask Akasha about it and all she had to say was, ‘your vision is most likely being blocked by the anti-clairvoyance runes, that surround most important governmental buildings.’ So I can’t even spy on the officials for juicy news. I have tried to create more creatures, but I have hit a creator's block of sorts. Sure, I have leveled up from the dying Adventurers and you’d think I would get something from reaching level one, but no I didn’t. I bring up my status just to stare hatefully at it

How come Intelligence is still in the single digits, I knew the system hated me. Oh, the system you have been buttering me up just to punch me in the face because I look the other way when you pointed. System I have another complaint, how come I don’t get to distribute my own stats when I gain them. All anger aside, why didn’t I get to distribute my stats. Well when you have a question, you know who to call, Akasha. That doesn't have the pop I was going for, well whatever, let's just go and talk to Akasha.

Hey Akasha, I have been wondering. How come I don’t get to distribute my stats? Oh, and while I am on the topic, How come all stats are a multiple of 5? I ask Akasha, interrupting her from her deep study of… I squint at the book she is holding just to see if what I am reading is correct, and it is. Akasha has been reading ‘Mukhgiokoukhul oroerusa ukhnd hurvan tuur diosatuionguiosaho tuhoerum’. Now that's gibberish.

“That is simple. A person who completed a System-wide quest a century or two back asks the system to make things in the multiples of 5 and just auto-assign the points for everyone because it was getting tedious. He was then murdered almost immediately afterward by an anonymous God, but the damage was done and everyone had to deal with his mistake. Hell, they even have some skills out there that allow you to change them like normal. Now the powerhouses are just waiting till another system-wide Quest appears, so they can unmake his stupid request.” Akasha says anger leaking into her voice near the end.

So wait, you're saying someone asks for things to be this way? I say back to Akasha, honestly perplexed.

“Yes, and he was fucking stupid. That is why I have stopped leveling up for the time being, so I can distribute my own stats!” Akasha says face flushed with anger, starting to yell at some point.

Shock by the emotion displayed by Akasha, I say, Well I am going to make a new Demi-Plane bye.

Akasha sits back down obviously trying to calm down from her earlier outburst and responds with, “Alright, bye.” Akasha then seems to reach out into the air and grabs a bottle of wine from nowhere and sips from it. But by that time I already started to think about what Demi-plane should I make and what should the story be.

I quickly toy with the idea of making Kobold King Vol.2, but almost immediately discard the idea because for the Kobold king series I'm going to have to be a lot stronger to make any progress. For the second volume, I planned to have the Adventurers take part in a war between the kobolds and humans. I should really check if Adventurers can take part in wars before I decide to make it.

I quickly pop my attention to Akasha and ask, Do Adventurers take part in wars?

Akasha looks up from her book, wine bottle in the other hand, and replies, “Yes they do, even though the Adventurer's guild always says it is neutral. It is in fact not.”

Good, I say while sinking back into my thoughts about the next Demi-plane I am going to make.

So Kobold King Vol.2 is a go… Well, when I’m strong enough. But since I'm not strong enough yet, I guess I will move on to the second step of the war plan, make humans somehow. So I guess my next Demi-Plane should involve me making humans. What should I do, make something like jack the ripper in London where the Adventurers have to find who the killer is. Na, I haven't got my fill of violence yet, and I don’t know how to give out experience without the death of monsters. Well then, what should the Demi-Plane be about. Necromancers or at least a single Necromancer, and the upside is that he can research undead, taking some workload off of me. Boom nailed the story now to make a Demi-Plane.

Now, how did I do that? Ah, yes, the book creation skill, is still the most inconspicuous skill in my possession.

Holy shit, there's so much! I just took a brief look in the expand section and there is so much more. For most of it, I don’t have the slightest clue about what they actually mean. What! I can manipulate is the gravity of the plane! Wait I can also set quests now, that will be awesome later on! Their so much I can do when making a plane. I can change the strength of the total materials in the plane, wait, what does that mean?

I focus on the strength of the materials and as if a connection was established, I realized what it means. So it is the density of the magic contained in an object, basically how heavy and destructible an object is compared to its regular counterpart. If I get this high enough, I can even make a maze of unbreakable stone or a forest where the grass can cut you.

Focus Umbra, you’re getting distracted by all the new options. Let's just change a few things I can understand now, first off [Creature Biases] changed to undead. With that simple change, it was as if a cascade happened. Options adjusted, not only did I end up changing just [Creature Biases] but also many more, most notably would be [Loathed Affinities] and [Affinity Biases]. [Loathed Affinities] gained light, cleanse, holy, radiant, life, and death, though they're also were many more. What puzzled me about the [Loathed Affinities] was death being there, sure I know it kinda makes sense, but you would think that death would be necromancy but no things have to be complicated. For [Affinity Biases] it changed to curse, necrotic, poison, corruption, Necromantic, and Death without life, there were also many more. But what got me confused is the very cryptic Death without life affinity, which sounds more like a philosophy quote instead of an affinity. That was really all that mattered to me from what just changed, sure the [Natural Affinities] changed, but I don’t even want to understand that convoluted mess. So it was time to move on and start creating a Demi-plane.

Wait, I forgot to check out what [Plane Guardian] is. Hmm, I think I understand. So it is basically like Fus but instead of the plane just giving him more energy in the creation process, the creature will become a fragment of a plane and grow with it. There is an upside to just being the plane guardian like Fus is, because Fus can leave his plane, while a natural plane guardian will be stuck on the plane for all of that plane’s existence or till it dies.

I crack both my nonexistent knuckles and prepare to start making a natural plane guardian.
