《My power is actually really OP you know》22. Deadman

Well, the door is locked. If it was just me, it would have been fine. I could just brave it out for a few days. The pain would have been terrible, but it's not like I could die. However, we have a civilian here. Let's do my best heroic impression.
Even though I could not use my power, I am still OP. Let's run a few scenario in my head.
Scenario 1, I stab myself fatally before going to sleep leaving my corpse behind. It could be ration for a few days.
I have two modes, sleep mode and wake mode. In my sleep mode, no matter what happened, I'm going to be fine. When I wake up, it is like I am here right now, just as mortal as the rest of them.
So hypothetically, if I went to sleep right now, my body is going to be fine no matter what. It can potentially sustain the civilian forever.
However, I think that girl's going to freak though. She hasn't had to resource to cannibalism to survive yet, even if I suddenly wake up at the end of the week completely fine, I don't think her mental stability is going to be fine.
Let's scratch that plan off.
Scenario 2, I yell large enough so that other internet connected device outside the cell caught my voice too, and I could take the girl to the other world.
Problem 1, I will be fine, as always. But the girl won't, it is in doubt whether I can take the girl out of that world or not.
I guess since that guy in the other world is a wimp, I could overpower him physically of course. I think the virtual torturer is physically a teenager and his body never grows because he stays in that world forever, he is a god in his realm so no one could do anything to him. However, if it was me, he could do jackshit to me if I just physically punch him out.

Problem, I don't know where that guy is in that world, so I can't overpower him.
Problem 2, I just sent the problematic trio there just now, if we went in immediately we will definitely end up at a place near them.
Let's leave this plan in consideration.
Scenario 3, using blood, I can carve out the sign of the beast to call something over. I can promise my soul to the demon that come over or whatever. However, when it is time to collect the devil due, the devil will be in trouble.
Let's scratch that because I don't know what that girl's reaction is going to be.
I just realize that most of my plans are feasible, however, I am the only one who can go through the ordeal that would result from those actions.
It is hard being too OP...
"Umm, Angelica's big brother? There is something rapidly approaching us from the bottom of the sea, though I can't see what it is."
Deadman floated up from the bottom of the sea and regenerated because there was no external force to tear him up. Finally he figures out the floating trick, even I know corpse will float. If I just go to sleep at the bottom of the river, I will float up eventually.
Though it is strange that Deadman let someone deal such grievous damage to him.
That guy may have just felt masochistic that day though.
I mean, that person is the only one who can kill me. I told no one about it though so no one actually know, Deadman doesn't actually know either, but he was really OP too. On the surface, he is someone who never dies like me. However, he can't go to sleep like me because he sucks. Slowly, in the old world however, people finally realizes the OP-ness of Deadman, after every death, he slowly becomes stronger. That power still sucks though.

Even if he slowly becomes stronger, it would just take too long. And Deadman will suffer all the way, He is not like me, he can't sleep through it.
The true OP-ness of Deadman lies in the fact that somehow, when I went back to the creation of the universe, I found his still cold corpse floating in nothingness. It was before the Big Bang, before time existed so I can't retroactively edit him either.
I want to know what that guy was doing there, but I think it's better not to know.
I think there is a secret behind that guy, but I kinda don't want to know.
I will be fine either way.
After that guy takes his time to look presentable, he walks up the ship and tears the door open. Looking inside, he found me and Angelica's fan sitting in the dark room. He realizes we were victims so he didn't do anything to us.
"You-you are innocent."
Deadman says. He was soaked from head to toe. For some reason, he looks like he was genuinely angry. I get it bro, masochistic roleplay got out of hand sometime but why are you complaining about something you could have stopped at anytime?
Last I checked, Deadman could lift a commercial airplane in one of those Ability Holder commercial.
Compared to that, he literally could have swatted the air, and everyone in a five hundred meter radius would have died.
I genuinely don't know what he is angry at.
"Where are your captor?" He suddenly asks
"Don't worry Deadman, I took care of them already."
However, after the sentence was finished, suddenly the guy lunges at me as if I touched a nerve. What did I even do wrong?

Paladin
When the first derelict alien spacecraft fell to Earth, humanity took what was found in it and propelled themselves to new heights. In their new Golden Age, humanity developed technology that they had only dreamed about. The following years saw hundreds more ships crash into the planet, spurring even greater technological leaps. An unassuming spacecraft, one of the dozens that fell yearly, descended on Siberia in 2021. The world took no particular notice of it. However, this one contained something beyond the miraculous technology that had made humans so prosperous. Three years later, in a top-secret underground facility in eastern Colorado, the automated construction of an army of Paladin Mobile Infantry Suits was underway. With this new, state-of-the-art weaponry, the military would turn the tide against the alien incursion that was consuming the planet. Humanity fell before that could happen. Sam was an engineer responsible for overseeing the facility. Now alone, he lives in utter boredom and near insanity, his only company the base’s pseudo AI and an army of empty Paladins. With the world gone to hell around him, and the things that caused it still living above, he decides that he is much better off staying exactly where he is. Unfortunately for him, that is no longer an option. This is the first novel I've written. The first fifteen or so chapters are going to be a little slower. I want there to be time to get to know the characters before they start blowing stuff up. Also, though the MC will be strong relative to the world, he won't be OP, and won't win every fight. Not every fight will be physical either. Currently, I'm aiming for something like 5 fairly short chapters a week, after the introduction part is done, but we'll see how that goes. Thanks for reading, and please let me know if I've made mistakes!

The Last Zeus: Book 1- The Beginning
"Who is that superstar?" "Oh, him. They call him Zeus." "Zeus? As in the King of Gods from the myths?" "Ah yes, the very same." "So, where's his pantheon? Which kingdom does he rule?" "He doesn't. He's not your usual king. He's only rules his lonesome." "A king without a kingdom, interesting. So, what's his story?" "Don't ask, lest you wish you never knew."
