《Monarch of Alchemy》7.

"How is that possible? Have you never even helped people?" Yi Yun was somewhat in disbelief at her words.
But if you think about it, there is indeed such a possibility.
Yi Yun was pretty sure she was overjoyed as she explained things to him, that alone was strange enough.
They didn't have any relationship before, but she guided him as if he were her family.
All sorts of naivety would disappear when one lived too long, but the case might be different if there was something she had never done in her entire life and she regretted it.
Xia Xinghe did not answer, she was silent.
"Thank you!" Yi Yun finally said it.
He peeked into the Heavenly Garden, the silent Xia Xinghe smiled again when she heard his words.
...
The days passed quietly, Yi Yun did not wander, he continued to cultivate, his speed at absorbing the Awakening Pill energy became faster with time.
On the sixth day, he managed to absorb 85 percent of all energy.
After six days with Xia Xinghe, he also started to discover some things about her.
Although she was more likely to show a relaxed demeanor, he occasionally saw her show a listless expression as if something was weighing her down, it seemed like a deep regret.
For now, he didn't ask anything. Their relationship was indeed close enough now that they were constantly chatting that he was even comfortable calling her name in person. But still, to know the story of a person's past, just being close was not enough.
Probably around 10:00, he stopped his cultivation that had only lasted two hours because he suddenly heard a commotion in the sky.
"What happened?" He wondered as he exited his pavilion.
He was quickly taken aback when he saw a group flying in the sky.
There were dozens of carriages pulled by various kinds of Spiritual Beasts, the most striking of which was the silver carriage pulled by the two winged bears.
Behind the carriages, there were more than twenty people following, they flew by stepping on swords, wearing the same clothes, brown robes with red stripes.
Yi Yun became worried the moment he saw them.
"Powerful sects that are declining are always in trouble because there are bound to be many who don't like them, they are often bullied by petty people," Xia Xinghe said.
"Is this an attack?"
"Shouldn't be."
The group did not attack, they entered the village in the center of the island.
Mei Mei and the other occupants of her pavilion except the gloomy-faced man also came out of their pavilion, apart from Mei Mei, the others went straight to the village.

Mei Mei walked up to Yi Yun with a doubtful expression, she asked, “Yi Yun, how about we take a look?”
Yi Yun immediately responded by shaking his head. "We don't even have cultivation yet, it's useless to look, curious birds will sometimes get a disaster."
Mei Mei, "..."
The girl opened her mouth, probably not expecting his advice.
"You are right." She finally nodded in agreement.
Of course, even though Yi Yun did not plan to look, he was still waiting in front of his pavilion.
While he was avoiding trouble, he still needed to know what the problem was so that he wouldn't fall victim to ignorance.
Minutes passed in a rather tense atmosphere. It wasn't that Yi Yun was overly concerned, but it seemed that the aura of a powerful expert was quietly spreading out so that the air felt tense.
An hour later, an extremely loud scream suddenly resounded from the village. "Go away, next time you challenge me, don't think you can live again."
Right after that, another shout replied, "Luo Tian, don't be arrogant, before you can overcome your cultivation problem, it is only a matter of time before you lose to me. Do you think you can continue to be strong just by relying on the Dao without increasing your cultivation base?”
“The cultivation of a trash like you will not pass beyond the Core Formation realm, even if you are lucky to reach Nascent Soul, my Dao will still be stronger.”
"Hmph, we'll see about that!"
As soon as the group exited the village, they left very quickly as if they were being chased by a beast.
"That's Senior Luo," said Mei Mei. "What really happened?"
“Sounds like there is a problem with his cultivation,” Yi Yun replied.
"Cultivation not being able to increase anymore is normal, the cause could be poison, seals, or damage to the heart," Xinghe said. "That kid brought a cauldron, he probably wants to turn into an Alchemist."
Yi Yun's brows moved, he finally understood.
"But is it possible?" he asked.
If it was two similar types of power, there shouldn't be a problem, but between Alchemists and Fighters were two completely different paths.
"A few things can do it. At great risk and loss, of course."
“Seems like Senior Luo is facing two tough choices,” Yi Yun sighed.
No matter what, he was the first person to speak to him in this world, so he naturally had a special attitude towards him.

"Too bad I'm still too weak," he said.
It was useless even if he wanted to help, he needed to have a high cultivation first before starting to think about it.
“I estimate his cultivation is already half a step from Core Formation, I think you can help him when you reach Xiantian realm,” Xia Xinghe said.
"So he is very strong, no wonder the others respect him so much."
Since he already understood the matter that had occurred, he immediately returned to his pavilion.
Perhaps because he already had an impression of the conflict in this world, he cultivated more seriously, even when he started to feel hungry, he didn't stop.
In the afternoon, as the sky began to turn yellow, he felt that the energy within his heart chamber had already reached its limit even though the Awakening Pill had not been completely absorbed, there was still about 7 percent left of it.
Of course, it wasn't unusual since the pill was just a source of energy, for some, it was enough, and for some, it was lacking.
“Now is the time to condense it into spiritual essence,” Yi Yun said.
He started to concentrate while his mind focused on the ways the Alchemy of Heavan's Path had written.
Condensing spiritual essence was much easier with Alchemy of Heavan's Path, the energies within his Heart Space shrank at an extremely fast rate as they fused with one another.
At the same time, he began to feel a different sensation, it was the sensation of having other powers besides mortal power.
His perception instantly improved drastically because of that, he could feel his surroundings as if he saw it even though he closed his eyes.
Bang...
Explosions resounded from within his body, after which, a transparent light like light reflecting off glass emanated from his body. It blew the dirt on his body clean.
His heart beat faster.
Within his Heart Space, a transparent sphere the size of a pinhole appeared that seemed to be able to create energy. That is what is called spiritual essence and it is Transparent Spiritual Essence.
After that, a barrier appeared dividing the Heart Space into two spaces, one small, and one large.
That spiritual essence was in a small space, it barely fit in it even though it was so small.
However, Yi Yun could feel that it was flexible enough that he could expand it by forcibly inserting something. It can be expanded to three spiritual essences.
That was the advantage of Alchemy of Heavan's Path.
If he cultivated with ordinary Merit Law, the small space would not be able to expand anymore.
The small space is the space to store spiritual essences of the first stage or the first Heart Space while the large space is the space to store spiritual essences of the second stage or the second Heart Space.
When he reached the ninth Houtian stage, his Heart Space would have nine Space.
Even though he had already reached the first stage, he still did not open his eyes, he remained focused on his cultivation.
Now is the best time to make a cauldron from the heart.
His thoughts quickly sank deeper.
He felt like he was deep in the depths of the ocean. Time seemed to freeze, everything but his mind disappeared.
As a week passed in the outside world without him noticing. He saw a light that was as white as snow or milk, it was gathering in front of his eyes, he was closing his eyes, so it was obviously just an illusion, but he felt very real.
The light shrank slowly and took a shape over time, it started to look like a cauldron.
The process has taken up to two weeks. Even after that he still didn't notice it at all, he didn't even feel hungry from not eating.
While he was immersed in cultivation, the region around the Holy Light Sect was being shaken due to a phenomenon that had suddenly appeared in the sky.
It suddenly rumbled, an enormous white cauldron shadow then appeared, it covered the sun so that the sky darkened.
Whether it was the young, the old, or even the ones hiding in the coffin, all opened their eyes, looking up at the sky in surprise.
"Is this the birth of someone with an Innate Weapon/Artifact?"
"But isn't this phenomenon too much, what level is it if it's an Innate Weapon/Artifact."
"I'm more confused as to why this is a cauldron. There doesn't seem to be any record of someone being born with an Innate Cauldron."
"I can't detect the source of this phenomenon, maybe there is an expert hiding it."
"That's not necessarily, not all bounty births can be detected, I will send my sect disciples to check the newborns in this region."

Dungeon Darwinism: Deepest Dungeon
Dungeons are a lot like sea turtles. They’re born in clutches of dozens, if not hundreds. A hundred may be born at one time, buried in still burning cities, or in forests where the canopy hides the sky, or in ocean trenches at the bottom of the sea. But only one in a clutch ever makes it to the surface. Everyone knows about dungeons— monstrous factories that emerge out of the earth, full of riches and Arcana and power— and monsters. But most of humanity only know about the dungeons that make it. Mark doesn’t know anything about dungeons. He isn’t from this world, and only as a victim of circumstance has he become an unwilling half of a dungeoncore. The other half is a Dark Lord. (Rewrite)
