《Monarch of Alchemy》Another World

He didn't feel any pain when the three iron rods were stuck in his body, he only felt so weak that he could no longer hear the frantic voices of those around him.
'Seventeen years, my life is so short,' he thought as he looked back on his life.
He had no parents and lived in an orphanage since he was a baby.
Because he doesn't like the orphanage life, which for him is very gloomy, he finally chooses to leave and ends up being a homeless person for a while.
In order to survive, he joined society faster, he worked in various fields, from being a restaurant waiter, courier, and even a construction project worker.
Even though he didn't go to school, he used the remaining money to take courses in skills that could change his future.
Maybe he would have a good life in the future, but it seemed fate wanted him to die sooner. An accident happened to him while he was working on a construction project.
'This feels so peaceful, I've never felt this peaceful, is this the feeling of dying, it's not bad at all.'
'I feel very sleepy now.'
He started to close his eyes.
*Phew"
Suddenly he heard the sound of someone sighing.
He felt strange because he felt as if the voice was inside his mind.
Before his eyes were completely closed, the copper ring on his finger suddenly emitted an extremely bright light, shocking everyone around him.
It lasted a moment.
As the light disappeared, his body also disappeared.
...
"Mm... Where am I? Is this heaven?"
Yi Yun opened his eyes in surprise as he saw huge clouds as far as his eyes could see.
The air was so fresh that he felt like he was in dreamland.
He was now sitting on top of what looked like a cliff, his legs dangling down while his hands gripped the two iron rods stuck in his sides very tightly as if he was worried about falling.
Below his feet was not an abyss, but a seemingly boundless expanse of land. And it is becoming more and more widespread.
No, it didn't get wider but because he got taller.
But how did the cliff get higher?
Yi Yun quickly realized what was going on as he looked around.
He saw a giant bird flying overhead, it had wings that were twenty meters long where there were two ropes tied to each leg.
The two ropes were hanging down and they were carrying a fairly large stone platform. It turned out that Yi Yun was not on a cliff, he was on a rock platform.
On the outskirts of the stone platform, there were children who looked to be in their sixteens, similar to high school students, they all sat in the same manner as him.
Who would be so stupid to sit like that, even if there were two irons to hold onto, they could fall at any moment due to the strong gust of wind.
Unfortunately no one dared to change their sitting position because in the middle of the stone platform stood a lion that looked three times bigger than an elephant.
The lion looked at the children as if it couldn't wait to eat them.
Yi Yun did not take long to realize that he had transmigrated to another world, however, he felt that this was not a dream at all as it was too real. He's also not a person who doesn't know the world, things like this are not foreign to him who often reads novels.

Inwardly he wondered what game he was playing.
The problem is; he found no memory other than his own.
*Whooss"
Finally, a young girl fell from the stone platform.
He was flung downwards very quickly like a shooting star.
Just as the people were worried about her fate, a wooden sword suddenly shot down from above the bird's back.
The wooden sword quickly arrived at the girl's side, it then hooked on her clothes.
However, that didn't bring the girl back to the stone platform, it brought her down towards the land below.
The other children couldn't see her anymore when he was too far away.
Not long after the girl, the others began to fall one by one.
Some of them shouted.
"No, I don't want to go back, I want to become a cultivator."
"Senior, please take me to the sect, I promise to practice every day."
"I don't mind being the sect's cannon fodder."
Hearing their shouts, Yi Yun was surprised as he found he understood the language they spoke. He also felt that he could speak the language like his native language.
But now wasn't the time to find out why it happened, he thought, 'I can't hold on much longer, what should I do?
'Even if they were saved, falling doesn't seem like a good choice.
'Sect, that seems like a very dreamy place.'
Second by second, his hands started to get weaker. Panicked, he started to look around as if trying to find a solution, the others were doing the same.
At this moment, his gaze was fixed on the lion.
A thought suddenly flashed through his head, 'those who fell have been saved, that means this sect is quite good and values life. Yes, right, this is a test.'
However, despite thinking like that, he still didn't dare to take the risk, he shouted, "Go to the center, the lion won't attack you because the sect won't let you die."
He could only hope that someone wouldn't mind taking the risk.
This time, his wish was granted because the wishes of those people to go to the sect seemed to be very great.
A fat but agile looking youth jumped up quickly, he shouted, "to die here is better than to come back, I can only marry Princess Yue if I have the strength!"
He was like walking flesh, the lion quickly opened his mouth. But just as it was about to pounce on him, suddenly chains appeared that seemed to be created from energy, they restricted his movement so he could only stay where he was while watching the fat young man with a ferocious expression.
"Ahhh, it worked." The others didn't think anymore, they started to follow in the footsteps of the fat youth including Yi Yun.
On top of the bird sat a young man who looked to be in his mid-20s, wore a white robe and had long hair and a handsome face like a celestial being. His aesthetic is more visible because she is reading a book.
The only thing that interfered with his appearance was the cauldron placed on his back, making him look like a ninja turtle.
The reason he put the cauldron on his back was indeed questionable.
When he heard Yi Yun's shout, he was flabbergasted, he looked down with an interested expression.
"This boy concluded quickly, and now the exam I made is a mess, sigh..."
After all the children arrived at the center of the stone platform, he finally stood up. A wooden sword appeared by his side, he climbed onto it and it immediately took him flying towards the stone platform.

Seeing him, the children said, "Senior Luo."
He landed in front of them and looked at them one by one. He said "I can only say you guys are lucky, you all have passed. From now on, we are fellow disciples of the Holy Light Sect, wait until we arrive at the sect, later you will be taught how to cultivate."
His words made the children rejoice.
Seeing that, Senior Luo continued, "Don't get excited too soon just yet, our sect is currently in decline and we lack a lot of resources, which is why I disqualified some of you. So don't think you guys will find an easy path in the sect later."
"It doesn't matter, no matter how difficult it is, I will definitely succeed," said the fat youth. What he said clearly didn't affect his spirit, everything else was the same.
Every sect had a profound inheritance, even the weakest were led by someone who could stir up a storm.
Compared to the mortal world, cultivating in a sect was hundreds of times better.
Senior Luo looked at the fat youth and nodded, "Your courage is commendable, only from that do you deserve to be a cultivator. What's your name?"
"I'm Li Baoyi, thank you, senior," Li Baoyi looked happy as he asked his name.
He then looked at Yi Yun. "What's your name?"
Yi Yun found it a little strange that he was only asking the name now, but it also made him feel relieved that he didn't have to worry about his name here, so he used his real name.
"Yi Yun," he replied.
"Yi Yun, you were the first to notice the system I set up. You were also very careful and didn't move even though you were aware of it. Although your act of telling others to come forward is incompatible with the philosophy of the Holy Light Sect, in the end, someone like you has a greater chance of survival."
Yi Yun nodded in response.
After that, Senior Luo asked the names of the other children one by one.
"Alright, you guys wait here, it will still take some time before we arrive at the sect," Senior Luo said. He jumped onto the tiger's back and sat down and closed his eyes.
There was an energy barrier that suddenly appeared around the stone platform after he sat down, eliminating the effect that the gust of wind had produced.
The children looked at each other.
In total, they numbered 9 people consisting of six men and three women.
Some looked like they were from farming families and some looked like they were from noble families.
Apart from Yi Yun and Li Baoyi, among the men, there was Meng Hao who was big but looked stupid, Lin Diao who looked rich because he was wearing a gold necklace and bracelet and two silver earrings.
The latter two were twins, but they weren't just twins, they were triplets because there was one woman who was so identical to them.
This is indeed a bit rare because there are usually two males and two females.
Their names were Qin Tian, Qin Feng, and Qin Wuxin.
It must be admitted that they have a good appearance. Qin Wuxin was very beautiful with long black hair and straight bangs that covered her forehead as well as a small mole under her right eye. Her two brothers, on the other hand, had the most handsome faces among the boys, they would probably be as handsome as Senior Luo when they grew up.
Their backgrounds are hard to tell as they wear fairly simple but clean clothes.
One of the last two women is Mei Mei, who can't be said to be beautiful but can be said to be sweet. She looked shy, the dress she was wearing also looked worn, maybe she was the poorest of them all.
As for the other one, although not as beautiful as Qin Wuxin, she was still quite beautiful and she looked dashing in her ponytail and martial clothes. Her name is Cai Yan.
They seem to want to interact, but are hesitant to start.
In the end, Li Baoyi was the first to make a move.
He walked over to Yi Yun and said, "Yi Yun, if it wasn't for you, I would have definitely fallen, I couldn't have come to such a conclusion under such conditions. I don't know what your brain is like."
He patted him on the shoulder and looked him up and down.
"That's not something I believe in either," he replied calmly.
Because he joins adult life more quickly, so he doesn't find it difficult to interact, especially with children his age even though he's new to them.
Even so, he thought it would be best to speak sparingly for now, so when the others started to approach him, he stepped away to keep his distance.
He looked at the fingers on his right hand, at this time, he saw a ring on the middle finger.
"What the hell," said Lin Diao, looking a little annoyed with Yi Yun who walked away as he approached him.
"Hmph, the cultivation world emphasizes strength, being a little smarter is meaningless here," Cai Yan added.
"How do you say that, if not for his advice, you wouldn't have passed this test," Li Baoyi replied.
"You are wrong." Cai Yan looked at him, she showed one of her wrists which although thin, had extremely tight veins. "Even now, I'm sure I won't fall."
Li Baoyi couldn't say anything else.
The others reacted more calmly, Qin Wuxin said to her two brothers, "don't disturb him!"
They nodded, making it clear that she was the leader of their family.
...
Yi Yun sat in a corner and began to examine his body.
Other than the clothes, he didn't find there was much difference. But the difference is very clear because of his very different body weight.
What intrigued him was his face but he couldn't see here, so he stopped and stared at the middle finger of his right hand.
'This is exactly the same as my ring, what exactly is this?' He wondered.
Even though he almost died earlier, he still saw how the ring emitted light, which made his body disappear and then he appeared here. And that sighing voice, he still remembers it clearly. There is no doubt that it is something special and might be hiding someone.
However, despite continuing to observe it, he couldn't find anything special.
'Is it because I don't have cultivation yet?'
Right after he thought that, a voice suddenly resounded in his mind.
"Stop doing that, it's useless," said the voice.
It sounded beautiful and pleasant, like flute music under the spring breeze. It was clearly a woman's voice.
Surprisingly, he felt something connected to his brain as the woman's voice appeared, he now felt like he could send words through the mind. Maybe that's called telepathy.
"Who are you? Did you send me here?" He then asked through that telepathy.
"That's right, I'm currently living in that ring on your finger, you'll know once you get in here, look for a place where there's no one, I'll tell you how to get in here later," she replied.
After that, the telepathy was cut off. Yi Yun did not dare to speak as Senior Luo would probably notice, so he remained silent as he stared at his ring doubtfully.

The Limits of Limitless
Author's Note: So, new author here, nice to meet you from this lovely one sided conversation lol. I was so tired of waiting for the perfect story for me so I decided to write a few of my own. These are basically just to make me happy, but if you enjoy them too that would make me happy as well lol. ______________________________________________________________________________________ So once upon a time, there was a convienent, and slightly cliche, plot device used by a somewhat lazy author.... Which in turn, created an easily made story of how a lucky high schooler posing as a hardcore gamer dies only to resurrect in a fantasy reality, meeting beautiful women, powerful dragons and ancient beings, an assortment of insanely escentric fellows, and a certain over powered ring. Journey with them as they explore the wilderness of twisted imagination. Or for you old timey folk who like their synopsis a bit tame, here you go: Jason, a senor in highschool, is slowly failing school due to not giving a fuck. Like many people now in the year 3056, he is obsessed with the wonderful invention most lovingly called, 'True Virtual Realities'. now by using his obsession with his favorite Virtual Reality game called 'Reality Controlled', which is the first and so called best Virtual Reality ever made. it was basically the all around escape humanity wished for, and he with heaven defying luck came across one of the three cheat items the game developers left for themselves: The Limitless Ring. The ring was a support type item and had the ability to grant wishes, store worlds, clone items, grant skills and easily learn abilities. But those are just a few of the things it could do. Using the ring he successfully became the "best player" and had a herd of fans following him everywhere. It was a dream come true. Until, he was killed from a power surge that fried his brain which was hooked up to the Nerve Capsule, an unsafe prototype of the Dive gear that he bought do to low funds. The end. Or so you would think.... ______________________________________________________________________________________ Author's Note: I was, to be honest, wanting to do a collab, because to me it is sooooooo incredibly boring to write by yourself since you always know what happens next, however no one enjoys a bit of friendly cooperation *sigh* so I'm forced to journey these roads alone.... 'Tis but a sad fate tha' 'is here young'un has t' bear. The cover isn't mine, all rights and stuff goes to its artist and such.

So just sit back and let me begin....
8 77Dungeon core shenanigans

After his death, he comes to himself as some breathing sphere. Now we follow his actions and their consequences in a brand new world where he causes mayhem and panic without meaning to. Will he stabilise and be a new kind of dungeon? Or will he just continue being a mess of thoughts and doing atrocities without realising it? I have stopped writing this story, it was one for me to train, and I have much to work on. I don't plan to resume it, but if I do, then I will rewrite it from the begining.
