Chapter 15
One of the odder ways Orion had woken up was now being carried in the arms of a beastribe member that resembled a bull that also carried two half axes crossed on its back that were covered in blood. Doing a mental check of his body revealed that the cuts on his head had healed. Making sure he lifted his head to where the cut was and felt besides dried blood a flat surface.
Looks like I am someone they at least want alive for now
When Orion began to stretch the Beastmen noticed he was awake and stopped moving. As the arms carrying him began to slack Orion took the chance to stand up on his own. Landing on his feet the fear held that something would happen but the stood of them just stood there while the rest kept walking.
Well let’s see if context clues are right about what to do next
Seeing as how he was neither being questioned nor told to do anything Orion just started walking with the rest of the group. The Beastmen that was carrying him followed soon after. With his new guardian keeping careful watch in less than an hour there group arrived at a massive clearing that had to be there village.
There were a number of varying sub races of Beastmen from bull to dog to wolf that were both apart of a unified whole and their own communities. Overall they were less organized then the elf’s and the armor and tools they used cruder but they made up for it in numbers that were double if not more than the Wood Elf village.
“Come this way”
His follower had now become his leader with most of the others of the group Orion came with dissipated to their respected groups. Reaching the center just like with the elves was there version of the town hall but it was built up like a mini fortress. A thick wall surround the building with one large main door guarded by Beastmen in thick armor. There was even towers housing a single rat like Beastmen watching over what was happening outside the walls.

No walls for the village but some for whoever’s in here. Is whoever leads the rest worried about what they will do?
Walking passed the gates really did feel like a different place will everyone moving in what seemed like an organized manner, it was only a moment passing by until Orion went through the final set of doors. What he saw was a great hall with a tables a great fire in the center of them. Arches lined the ceiling leading to a throne being sat on by the Beastmen as Orion saw as clearly the leader. Old broken armor that reveled scars on the skin of the openings. No helmet was blocking the view of his wolf face and even there clear scars shown through. Orion’s guardian walked up to their leader, whispering in his long ears while Orion waited standing at the bottom of the stairs.
It was not just them it seemed like everyone but Orion was either talking about what had happened or about him.
I have not felt this awkward since being left of playing with the other kids. That and I am in much more danger of dying
Orion’s guardian stepped down and walked back next to Orion with his eyes still unchanged from before. That’s not much to say considering the environment he was raised in was almost always human. With his forehead healed and his binds cut off his hands in pointed to a more positive outcome then what happened to the Elves he was with.
“How long were you a prisoner of those vile elves?”
The Wolf Leaders voice seemed to grow resentful at the word elves that came from there long history on conflict.
“Not long, I had made a home a home for myself and a few others less than a day’s walk from there village. When I tried to buy supplies I desperately needed form them they said I had to do something instead”

Orion tried to act angrily at recounting his “tragic” events. He wanted to say as many real details as he could while not saying anything that would counter the story he was trying to spin.
“That was when I refused but they did not take no for an answer and wanted to take advantage of the fact I was human so they could launch a surprise attack. Their leader was named Gaelin, the one who brought up the idea in the first place”
The Wolf Leader beamed his eyes in the direction of Orion Guardian, an almost hungry look was stretched across his face.
“Was Gealin really the one that was killed?”
For his response Orion’s guardian sucked a massive amount of air into his chest filling it to what seemed like almost bursting then raising his spear he answered yelling.
“YES!”
All went quiet as the spear was still held in the air when the Wolf gave his response.
“Then let us cheer for the death of the Gaelin and the one that lead to his death Orion who will always be welcome!”
Became Friend of the Untied Beastmen Tribe
The entire great hall thundered to cries of joy and tears and all Orion could do was stand there quiet. He did not regret his choice but hated that people who were nice to him ended up that way because of them. It was several minutes for the Great Hall to completely stop cheering and there Leader spoke again.
“Now let me tell you what has lead us to this point and what is about to happen that cannot be stopped”

Rogue Dungeon: A LitRPG Adventure
From James A. Hunter, author of Viridian Gate Online and War God's Mantle! Check out my first attempt at a Dungeon litRPG Novel! Roark von Graf—hedge mage and lesser noble of Traisbin—is one of only a handful of Freedom fighters left, and he knows the Resistance’s days are numbered. Unless they do something drastic … But when a daring plan to unseat the Tyrant King goes awry, Roark finds himself on the run through an interdimensional portal, which strands him in a very unexpected location: an ultra-immersive, fantasy video game called Hearthworld. He can’t log out, his magic is on the fritz, and worst of all, he’s not even human. Now, he’s a low-class, run-of-the-mil Dungeon monster. Some disgusting, blue-skinned creature called a Troll. At least there’s one small silver lining—Roark managed the grab a powerful magic artifact on his way through the portal, and with it he might just be able to save the world after all. Unless, of course, the Tyrant King gets to him first …Hey everyone, so as most of you know, I write books for a living, and I just put this title up on Amazon (and enrolled it in KU). Because KU requires exclusivity as part of their terms of service, I have had to pull the majority of the content from this site. I left the full novel up for as long as possible, so I hope everyone got a chance to read it. If you haven't had a chance to read it in its entirety (sorry!) you can pick it up on Amazon. Thanks again for coming on this journey with me, and I so hope you enjoyed it. The book will be out on Tuesday July 24th. Best, James Hunter
