On a huge field. Over a hundred people had been working from young adults to those of the elderly. They work on plants and other things in the field such as some live stocks e.g cows and chickens. Some harvest milk from cows or check up on the chickens, some attend to the crops. On the outside. It looks normal, seeing as it is a normal workplace. Except that they are surrounded by soldiers heavily armed and can shoot them dead if they've done something not good as they look after them menacingly.

Amongst the crowd of people is one of the male workers at the very center as he is harvesting spices in that area and beside him is a metal floating basket to put those into.

Suddenly. Workers began to hurriedly flock at the same place as him with some of their produces carried over. Some have their basket that was full of a certain crop, some have some of the live stocks with them like carrying over a handful of chickens or some cows being pulled on a halter.

Later, one of the soldiers yelled "Cease! What the hell are you doing people?!" But they paid them no mind and simply continued on with no hesitation or fear visible on their faces.

"Return to your work at once or we will be forced to shoot all of you! You think we're pushovers!?" However, they are adamant and thus continued on.

This time, however, the soldiers raised their weapons toward the crowd. "You will either return to your respective works or disobey. We simply gonna clean you up. Either way won't affect us at all. Or is this some sort of rebellion? What? Do you think you can escape or kill us? You may outnumber us but we have the equipment we need to kill you all easily here."

The man at the very center then holds a glass jar up in the air containing a red substance and slams it onto the ground. Suddenly, a barrier separated the crowd from the outside and unknown characters lit up from the ground and eventually forming a circle out of it.

"What the fuck?! Shoot them!" They began shooting however is ineffective.

"Sir! What is this thing?" A soldier approached the one giving orders.

"Like hell I'll know. But even if they tuck away on that barrier. They'll have no escape. Soon it'll just disperse."

"What should we do then?"

"Just hold your weapons up. Shoot them the moment it goes down."

The man in the middle suddenly then cried out loudly. "Smite!!!"

"What the fuck? Had they lost their mind?" The leader mumbled. "Wait. A barrier... and this light completely encompasses all of us in it. No others are not outside of it… they are…" he paused and then shouted orders out towards his subordinates. "Get the hell out of here–!" As an unknown force rained from above the heavens and shoved the whole area down towards the ground that is so violent, the moment it hit the ground it produced a momentary earthquake for a second. Those inside the barrier though didn't leave unscathed since the violent rumbling also affected them although it is better than being shoved down by an invisible force.

"Everyone hang on tightly!"

After the cloud of smoke scattered. They saw the previous soldiers outside the barrier has been turned into a pile of a fleshy mess.

Some of the women amongst them began screaming of distress and terror.

"Dear… is it… really necessary to do this thing?" A woman who is apparently the wife of the man at the previous center approached him and asked.

"I guess… It's. For us after all… that our sons did this."

Meanwhile in the interior of a certain building.

"My lord. How is it? Did you enjoy your stay here?" A middle-aged man that seems to be a soldier due to him having a gun strapped to him who has been standing firmly asked a man in his early thirties who's doing paperwork on a work desk made of wood that is of elegant design.

"Hmm. Of course, I do. My children do so too. So of course, I do too."

"That's good to hear. When do you think about leaving, my lord? After your work here is done?"

"My week of stay here had already let me finish it. But my dear daughter wanted to stay here more. After all, it's rare for them to inhale the air of the countryside and play with flowers, right?"

"Yes, my lord. It must be not that pleasant in urban areas these days I assume?"

"Not at all. But it is still different here."

"The lady is also growing up, my lord. What are your plans for her?"

"I want the best for my daughter. I wanted her to do what she likes. I'll maybe let her take on a man of her likings, however. He must first make me root for him."

"Haha! Still quite the strict one eh?"

"Yes, but I simply have the best interests for my young princess."

"Oh, I remember. It should be her birthday tomorrow. Won't she?"

"Good on you for making me remember, I appreciate you remembering it while I don't."

"Haha. I spent some good time with her when she was young so I remember such things."

"Yeah. You're right. Alright. The paperwork is done–"

A violent rumbling of earth then came forth that almost threw both of them off balance.

"What the hell is that?" The lord exclaimed.

"I don't know, my lord. Please remain here. It shouldn't have been an earthquake, that was sudden and brief."

"Are we getting attacked?"

"Perhaps. But if we are. My men out there should have radio us already. But I'll try to connect to them." He then pressed the band on his wrist and spoke. "What's happening there?" But there was no answer. He tried once again. "Hey! Do you copy? What's happening?!" But still no answer from the designated group. A pair of soldiers then rushed inside the room holding their gun up.

"Commander. Did you felt that?"

"Yes, of course. Is the family safe?"

"Yes, they are. The other side… we can't connect with them!"

"Neither am I. Come quickly. Get them here. We must not be split up."

"Yes!" After they got out of the room, another one entered.

"Hey, newbie. Are you all right?"

"Yes sir. Are we under attack?"

"It seems so. But I don't know if it's a monster or other people. There's also no connection with the outside. Come out and check it. You should be able to take out a handful of them unscathed anyway."

"Yes, I'll go." With a serious look. He then draws the pair of swords tucked behind his back and heads outside.
