When the sky was dark on the southeast side of town at nearby mountain, a crack appeared in space as two people rushed out. One was a woman and the other was a man. After they came out of the crack, it closed immediately.

The woman was wearing a skin tight robe of red color just like her hair. She was in her twenties as for the man he was bald and his body was really muscular. He was wearing a sleeveless shirt and shorts.

There were countless cut on man as fresh blood was pouring out. The woman was in a little better shape she got only buries on her. Nonetheless, both were in miserable shape.

"Fuck those crow bastards, who thought we will bump into them on our mission". The woman starts cursing as she came out.

"It's okay Scarlett, be grateful we came alive. If not that they weren't serious we were dead meat by now." Bald man said after a while he continue "now hurry up and open gate to headquarter".

As he said it a crisp sound came from ornament that Scarlett was wearing in her hair. It split in two and falls on the ground. When they saw this, there face changed.

"Those bastards, when did they destroy my relic" Scarlett flares up when she saw this.

"Scarlett calm down, first tell me where are we right now." Bald man says to her helplessly.

"Brady, how can I calm down, you know how much effort and money I spent to get this teleportation relic?" Scarlett continues "you know how rare it is in this region. I am going to kill those crow bastards"

After releasing her anger she looked around and her face becomes paled. "Oh no, where is this place I didn't set location of this place."

When Brady heard her he enraged instantly "Scarlett you don't even know how to use a relic properly."

"What how did this become my mistake?" Scarlett rebuked at him "it's a miracle that we reached here in one piece with a broken relic."

Brady just ignores her and jumps toward the boulder that was on the mountain that was almost 7 meter high from him effortlessly. He scans the area around him when he spot lights in a row. It must be a town, he thought. Then he jumped down from boulder.

Scarlett came to him and asks worriedly "did you find any city nearby or are we in wildness?"

"Humph, there is a town nearby, about a day's distance from here on foot." Brady says suppressing his anger. "Let's first go there and treat our wound there and found out where are we right now."

"Alright, alright lets go there I don't want to stay here and fight with beast in this shape." Scarlett says while stepping aside for him to lead the way.

"Humph" Brady humped and starts walking toward the town.

After running for an hour Ethan start swinging his sword. Andrew was sipping his tea as he watches his training. The sun was rising from east. As usual, Amelia wakes up on the first light of the sun. When she opens her eyes familiar ceiling came to her site. She waked up every morning and sees this ceiling for 5 years.

There was a warm feeling in her heart. After 10 min she came out from her bed and start tidying it up. After doing this she came down to Andrew and Ethan room. Both of them share a room. Ethan always Complain that Andrew snore really loud and it's hard to sleep with him. But when Amelia said he can share with her, he refuses it by various excuses. How adorable he wants to stay with Andrew but don't say it aloud.

Their house is not big, it has a kitchen and an Ethan/Andrew's room on first floor. On the second floor there are two rooms, one Amelia's and other is a store room. The town they lived is a small town, but it's a peaceful town. Here they don't have to afraid of beast raid. Sometime there came one or two beasts from the mountain they are easily dealt by Andrew and other elders.

There are more elders in this town than younger. The younger ones are starting to migrate to nearby cities, saying there are more resource than here. As for elders, they don't want to leave this place where they lived for their whole life, so they simply refuse to leave.

In this town money has no value. They live by self-producing. The thinks that they can't produce they get it by trading with others.

After tidying up their room, that was a mess like always, she washes up and came to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. From the window in kitchen Amelia watch Ethan and Andrew is doing their work for a while then starts preparing breakfast.

While she was preparing the breakfast Ethan's cheerful voice came as he enter into kitchen from the back door "sister sister, I'm done with my training, praise me, praise me!!" "You have done well" Amelia praise him.

When he hears this he turn around and said cheekily to Andrew, who was entered in kitchen "old geezer you heard her my sister praise me hahaha"

When Andrew heard this he run toward Amelia take her hand in his and said with teary eyes "Amelia my baby why did you praise him and not me? I'm the one who walks up early morning to train him bitterly"

"You also did well" Amelia said to him helplessly. When Andrew heard this he puffed out his chest and said to Ethan "see, I also get praise from my baby."

Then Andrew walked toward Ethan and rustle his hair. "Whatever" Ethan said in a little angry voice and remove Andrew's hand.

Then he walked toward cabinet to take out tableware. When Andrew saw he didn't give much response he walked toward dining table and sit down while mumbling "brat, you are not fun boooring".

Amelia watches their interaction helplessly, she sometime feels like she only mature enough in this house. Not that she complaining or something.

After breakfast was ready, she serves it and sits down to eat. She was enjoying her meal while both boys were fighting over a piece of bread. She doesn't understand there was another piece of bread that was on the table, but, they were still fighting over that piece.

After their breakfast Andrew was getting ready to going to hunt. Yes, Andrew was a hunter here. There is a forest half a day's distance from town on foot. He always goes there one time in a month to hunt with two elders from the town.

When Amelia was washing the dishes she said to Ethan, who was drying them "we are out of rice, come with me this afternoon to get rice from aunt Zoë"

When Ethan hears this he said "why should I go with you, go yourself" and added "I don't want to go"

When he said this a slipper came flying over and hit on his head "brat you want my baby to lift heavy stuff, over my dead body." Andrew said angrily.

Ethan, who was still rubbing his head said helplessly to Amelia "ok ok I will go with you" then he glares at Andrew "old geezer, even if you didn't say this I will go with her when she asked me three times"

Ethan said has while extending his hand and unfurled his three fingers. When he does this another slipper came over and hit his forehead.

"Brat, don't act cheekily in front of me" Andrew said, then added "I'm going now, take care of the house and your sister"

When Andrew was about to leave, he turned around and said to Amelia "oh yeah, Amelia, if he doesn't do his training properly tell me when I'm back I will give him a good beating. No cheating like last time"

"Don't worry father, I will tell you if he slacks off even a little" Amelia said, assuring him. Ethan only stomps his feet and said nothing.

"Ok, then I'm leaving my baby, I will be back in two days" Andrew said while giving both of them a tight hug before leaving.

In the noon Amelia and Ethan were gone out to get rice from aunt Zoë. The aunt Zoë house was on the other side of town. While they were on their way their way they greeted all the elders they see. Whenever elder sees them, they always said how cute they are and give candy to both of them.

When they reached at aunt Zoë home Amelia have her hand full with candies and was at a loss. When Ethan saw this he swiftly takes out a paper bag from his pocket and put candies in it. He seems to know this was going to happen so he came prepared. Amelia knocks on the door of the aunt Zoë house. There was not answered for a while so Amelia knocked again.

"Why, aunt Zoë did not open the door? Did she go to the field? "Ethan says impatiently. Amelia was about to say something when the door opened by a bald man that was in his thirties. He was covered in bandages, but he was seemed to be full of energy.

"Um, where's Aunt Zoë?" Amelia was startled to see a man, but, she politely asked him. The bald man was staring at her without answering. When Ethan sees this he pulled Amelia back and said to the man "hey, who are you, where aunt Zoë we want to meet her." Ethan asked him.

"I am her son, she is resting right now what you want from her" bald man sneer when he saw Ethan action.

"We are here to take rice can you wake her up for us" Amelia said from the side while wondering aunt Zoë's son didn't come to see her for ten years why suddenly he came back?

On the other hand, Brady, who was seeing her with weird eyes laughed inside 'wake her up, but she will never going to wake up again.'

"She has gone to sleep just now, how much rice you need?" Brady asked them. "10 kg" Ethan said, glaring at this suspicious man.

"Wait here, I will get it now" Brady said as he goes inside and shut the door. After about 5 min he came back with a bag of rice. Ethan snatched the bag from him and left with Amelia in a hurry not want to stay here for even a second.

Scarlett, who was cleaning the mess that Brady made after sneaking in asked him curiously after she saw their interaction "why don't just kill them it was such a hassle"

"The girl was emitting aura" Brady said after a while and added "Scarlett go and observe her if I am right then we struct treasure this time"

"What she was emitting aura are you positive forget it, I go and see myself "Scarlett said excitedly as she run out of the house.

After two days Scarlett came back, "she is indeed emitting an aura it's a little, but it's there, " she said excitedly "we going to get promotion this time for sure"

"Let's go then" Brady said while standing up "and it's about time to go to the city" Scarlett follow behind him excitedly.

"Hey, why he did not come back its already noon, he always comes back in the morning" asked Ethan has impatiently written all over his face.

"He will be back any time now do not be impatient" as Amelia said this the door opened. Ethan runs toward the door when he heard the door open.

"Old man…" Ethan stops absurdly. Amelia was about to ask what happen when she saw the man that was in the aunt Zoë house with a woman.

"Why are you here" Ethan asked them looking hostile, he holds Amelia back with one hand and the other hand was holding his wooden sword pointing toward them.

Brady didn't answer him, he just walking toward them. When Ethan saw they are not answering, he become pale, he knows that he was not match for them.

"Sister run, I will take care of them you just run." Ethan said while gritting his teeth.

"But…" Amelia want to say something, but Ethan interrupted her "go get some help I will stop them here go now!"

Amelia was reluctant to leave him alone , but she starts running to get some help. Brady gave a look to Scarlett. Scarlett leapt toward Amelia to catch her. Ethan tries to stop her but was stopped by Brady, who stands between them.

Ethan sneered and sidesteps him easily. There was a shocked look on the Brady face that change in a sinister smile. He moved and caught Ethan from back of neck and lifted him in the air. Ethan was struggling to get free when he saw Amelia struggling in woman arm. He starts struggling more intensely.

Ethan was struggling with in Brady hand when Brady moved to the side there came a sword from behind him. When Ethan saw Andrew standing behind them, he gets hope.

"Humph, who said you can lay a finger on my children" Andrew say with murderous intent in his eyes.

Brady simply tosses Ethan to side, Ethan rolled in ground and bump in the wall. Cracks appear on the wall. Ethan vomits mouthful of blood.

"You bastard, I am going to kill you, " Andrew flare up and about to attack on Brady when he heard Ethan voice.

"I am alright save Amelia" Ethan said while enduring the pain. Andrew than seeing Amelia struggling in a woman's hand. He leapt toward her to save her, but blocked by Brady.

Andrew made a side cut with a sword to make Brady to dodge to the side, but Brady caught the sword with bare hand and broke it. Andrew was shocked and realized these people were awaken. When he tries to retreat, sharp pain came to his chest, he saw a hand sticking in his chest. He lifts his head there was blood coming out of his mouth.

Brady takes out his hand out from Andrew chest and lick the blood from it. Andrew stumbled back and fell on the ground. He was looking at Ethan with a worried look and wants to say something to him but no word came out. And then his vision turned black.
