Magnus almost lost control over himself, when he saw his little bro in such a sad state. The little bundle of never ending joy was now hugging his thigh, crying a river. Magnus was afraid that Sione was hurt by someone and just as he was about to calm his junior. Seeing his little brother cry like this Magnus swore in his heart he will make the cause of it suffer. He felt another person enter his room.

A teenager, his master's new student had just walked into the room.

Sione began to say something after seeing him," Brother Magnus, Brother Race told me, told me...", But little Sione couldn't complete the sentence, as he was crying to much that it was starting to affect his speech. Magnus thought that Race did something to Sione to make him cry this much. He was so angry that he didn't even wait to think about the matter seriously.

"What the fuck did you do to my little brother", Magnus's voice was cold as Ice.

"Student or not, I will make sure that he wouldn't dare to cause Sione any trouble again", Magnus thought in his heart.

"Whatever you did to Sione I will make sure to pay you back, you just wait", magnus growled at Race.

Race was confused at this development. " What did I do". He was sure that this was some misunderstanding. He seems to think that I hurt the little kid. Race was about to tell him that it was all a misunderstanding when Sione spoke;

" Brother Magnus, Brother Race didn't hurt me, He told me that I was wrong to lock you up, I was crying because I did something like that, I am sorry Brother Magnus, I am really sorry", the little boy started to cry again while hugging Magnus's thigh. Magnus fury immediately vaned and shot Race an apologetic look, then lifted up Sione brought him and kissed his forehead. Magnus then placed Sione on to the floor, while he sat on the floor.

" Sione, It's alright, Brother is not sad. I am happy that Sione came running to play with me, So Don't cry. Ok", Magnus patted Sione on his head gently, calming him down. He then lifted Sione up kept him on his head and walked near to Race.

" I am sorry Race, I was just too quick to jump to a conclusion. You should have been really confused to find yourself in space. I am sorry for that too. We were to bring you to our master as soon as we arrived. You were unconscious but we didn't have any time to wait for you to wake up. So we had to take you away while you were unconscious."

" Yeah, I guess its alright. But you need to answer a lot of questions, before I forgive you", race said while chuckling. Though Race appeared to joke about it, He was really not happy about what had happened. There was a lot he didn't understand, so he was looking forward to it.

"Race, I would be happy to, but you have to wait till I put Sione to sleep".

" No Big brother Magnus, I don't want to sleep, I wanna play", Sione who had been enjoying his joy ride on Magnuses shoulder strongly protested.

" Nope Sione, If you don't go to sleep, I will tell master what you did ", Magnus played his trump card, and it was effective. " Humph, Ok, I will go to sleep, " Sione relented. They then walked to Sione's room.

All through the way Race and Magnus played with Sione. Race found Sione to be quite endearing. It reminded him of his little brother, the one he lost long before he was strong, the very reason he searched for strength, How he turned into a pioneer. Tears began to slowly well up in Race's eyes, but he quickly wiped them away without his fellow disciples saw it. " How I wish I could see him again."

Race and Magnus was now alone in the command deck, Magnus had made sure that Sione was sleeping before they left Sione's room.

" Hey, I am sorry Race, I wasn't exactly a good host, especially since we kind of took you away without your permission".

" Yeah, a funny way to say that you kidnapped me", Race jokingly interjected.

" Anyway, I know you have a lot to ask, but can you tell me, what you said to get Sione so riled up", Magnus asked the question that was currently plaguing his mind.

Race was kind of irritated as he was not been given answers to what was going on, But still he chose to answer him for the sake of the little kid's sake.

" I was called to the command deck to find little Sione in the master chair, I was surprised to find a kid controlling the ship. After speaking with him, I found out that you were locked in your room for breaking a promise about playing together. So I told Sione that he might have been tired yesterday and might have been expecting to play today and now you locked him he might be sad, That made him hysterical. And you know the rest". Race saw that his listener's face has turned a bit grim

" Oh, I see. That explains it." Magnus shook his head.

" What do you mean, how can he be so affected just from me saying a few things. I do understand he is just a child, But the way he acted almost felt like he was having an outbreak of PTSD. What happened to him?", Race looked at Magnus's face expecting answers.

Magnus sighed," Sione was an experiment, code named SIGMA-ONE". Race was stunned. Magnus's continued, " I was part of a raid team for a while by master's wish. Our job was just like our title, to raid suspicious organisations and laboratories where illegal practices were being conducted."

"Dark Shade Biotechnology was a company with various branches all over the Terran coalition, But we got intel that they had a laboratory that they kept hidden from the government. So foul play was suspected, and our team was tasked to conduct the tactical raid. We went in expecting various illegal drugs or other chemicals. But we were stunned by what we found".

" They were experimenting on humans,from newborns to the age of 5. We were quite effective in conducting the raid, so no files or data was destroyed. The data showed that they experiment with embryonic DNA, they were trying to create a perfect human. But none of the children were able to live past 3 years, except for SIGMA-ONE. As per the data he was the only one that survived. The researchers didn't know how he survived. They had been cutting him open on a daily basis to find out what made him different. The clones made from his DNA also died. So they were stumped. With no way forward, they constantly cut him open. For 2 years, SIGMA-ONE lived a life in hell. But he still survived, I entered his cell to see a tiny body curled up on the floor, facing the wall. It kept mumbling," It will all pass, I to will be happy,It will all pass, I to will be happy", over and over again."

"As I lifted him up, and looked in his eyes, I could see was fear but also hope, hope that he to could be happy. We arrested the researchers and other staff of the lab for interrogation, we tried to raise the children, but all expect SIGMA-ONE, died. we named him Sione. But there was one problem, all the kids including Sione , who were experimented on had chimeric DNA, they had DNA of multiple individuals merged together. Replacing a person DNA with another person's DNA was illegal, as it caused identification issues. If the process cannot be reversed the offender will be killed. Our squad knew we couldn't kill Sione, nor could they keep him."

" So we came up with the plan to create a fake execution for Sione and with the help of my master, We gave him a new identity and as he was extremely smart, teacher accepted him as student. Even though his condition improved a lot, he was afraid of locked rooms or spaces. It reminds him of his dark past. He didn't think about all that when he locked me up, but when you said that I was locked up in my room and was sad because of It, his past memories might have resurfaced. That might be why he was so upset".

Magnus sighed after telling Race all this. Race didn't know what to say or what to do.

" Since his entire genetic code has been tampered with we cannot even find his parents, we don't even know if he had parents. He is a survivor, he had suffered enough so Master and fellow students took care of him and pampered him to the extreme so he is always pulls harmless pranks but that's just fun. Now you are his brother as well so take care of him, OK".

And then Magnus's Communicator beeped, and a hologram of a sleepy Sione appeared, " Brother Magnus, Brother Race can you sleep with me today, I am scared."

" Ok, we are coming, little brother", Race said. And he and Magnus walked to Sione's room. They both laid down with Sione in the middle. Sione hugged their and went to sleep with a smile.
