Chapter 6 - The Voice of Madness

I'm Noah Brendell....i am now currently walking back into the castle town of willow with a face full of smiles. Why? Because i have realized the power within me and what was my reason to be in this world. Yes, even the scribe of Anansi has told me ''to carve'' this world.

 I asked myself by what did he mean by this?

 Did he mean that i would leave marks of my actions?

 Di he mean that i should carve my name in history?

Or...

 Did he mean that i should literally carved the world?

No...a better question would be why did he send a man with no reason to live in this world? On a whim? Random? How can i believe this? Giving such power and put into a body of a combat alchemist?

Maybe....

Maybe they put me here...a man with no dreams or goals here... For them to have their laugh? No, they did say that they would be watching my actions.

Did they want to relieve their boredom? They want a man to set goals here?

Then what should i do? I'm lost...again..

This horrible sanity that i have been enduring for years is making me insane...How ironic.

''You can do anything now'' as a hoarse voice resounded in the air

''Who are you?'' i asked.

"How can you forget me?I am Rover your know'' as the voice explained

''Rover? Who?'' as i Noah ask the voice.

'' Come on now, that's what you call yourself on that dim rooftop''

''Ah yes i remember now'' Noah nodded in the thin air.

''Lets talk in the voided room''

As the voice faded, the world turn into paused and Noah was brought into the the voided room and is now sitting inside.

''So what are we gonna talk about?'' Noah asked

''Simple, you know that you have the power to undo things now right? Save,pause and load. Like a videogame isnt it?''

''Yes, quite weird for destiny to gave me these powers..''

''See right? Obvious they want you to mess with it? Save and load? Isn't that basically saying ''here have this power and mess with the world so we can have have a interesting watch?' right?''

''That is some leap of logic right there.''

''No no no, these gods are crazy Noah.. they want you to do that? Aren't they just bored beings that wanted to have fun?''

''I don't really know, maybe they are just testing me whether i would use this powers for good or bad?''

''Are you dense lad? Didn't they said that they would only 'observe'? Aren't you forgetting to read the lines again?''

''But...maybe they just said to make me go wild. They are probably testing me.''

''Why would they? These are Gods mate, they randomly gave you in a whim the power to save and load because they were randomly picking? What a stupid idea they have. Don't you see? It's clearly they want you to carve the world literally! Because they probably know that you are a cog needed for this world ''

''A cog?''

'' Yes myself, they see this world as machine, now that it has stopped working. They are putting a new special 'cog' to keep it turning. Destiny? Fate? Isn't that the same thing just worded out differently?''

''.........''

''Don't you see Noah? Whatever you do you would be playing the hands of fate! Its your Destiny to to what you want and carved the world for that scribe of anansi and the other 'observers'! ''

''.....Then what should i do?''

''Go out! Enjoy the world! Experiment everything! Play everyone into following the script you will made!''

''Experiment? Wait...i maybe goal less and loss but i'm not a psychopath!''

''Oh come now, it's not like they would be dead right? You can just save before your actions then when you did your play and is done you would load back to the point they were unharmed.''

''But im still killing them! I can't kill humans!''

''It's not like we will be focusing on the humans, besides didn't you just murdered a group of gnolls in cold blood?''

''Yes, but that's different! They monsters!''

''Monsters? oh how cold blooded of you mate, is it because the hyena face? Didn't you know already that you could have invoke the language of the soul to read their intentions? Oh, wait you won't because they.are.just.monsters right?''

''What the hell do you want?''

''Simple, just carve the world like what the scribe of anansi and the 'observers' want. Do your thing and carve this world with the power you got from them!''

''Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh''

 Then as if something snaps the world upaused and Noah's body lose its strength.
